Cold calling LinkedIn or Instagram DMs. If you clicked on this video, you're probably wondering what your best outreach methods are so you can help sign your first client or more clients this year. And you're in the right place. Because in this video I'm going to share with you my top seven outreach methods to help you sign your first or next clients that actually work right now. My name is Dylan Vaness and I run a eight figure marketing agency. Now I have a turnkey client generating machine that signs new clients up like clockwork. But it wasn't always this way. I remember just a few years ago how challenging it was for me to sign my first ever paying agency client. Now, it doesn't have to be hard for you. You're watching this video and if you stick through the end, you're going to find the best outreach methods that can help making your clients just as easy as it currently is for me. So go ahead and keep watching it. Okay? Number seven Freelance websites. If you're just starting out, then Upwork or Fiverr are the perfect platforms to start with. These websites are great places to meet potential clients. Basically, they act as this bridge between the people looking like the ones you provide and people offering services like you do. But here's the thing, this is not just for beginners only. There are thousands of clients out there that are always looking for experts and professionals on these sites. And trust me, there are agency owners out there that are signing four and five figure clients every single month just using these platforms. Because the more experience and the better reviews that you have on your profile, the more you can charge. And once your profiles are well established, clients can even start approaching you and and asking you to work on their projects. Number six, cold emailing. Now, if you're one of those people that thinks emails are outdated, think again. In today's day and age, everybody is using email. Even if you don't like it, you use them. So people might not be using LinkedIn, they might not use Instagram, but do you know anyone that doesn't use email? Now if you want to sign up new clients just by sending out emails, you need to know how to do it properly. Business owners usually get hundreds of emails every single day. So if you can't stand out and capture their attention, you're going to fail at this method. So make sure you're doing things to separate yourself from everyone else out there that's just aimlessly sending cold emails. And number five, word of mouth or referrals. Referrals are One of the best and easiest ways for new clients and for your agency. In fact, it's one of the ways that I pretty much built my entire business. Because, look, every business owner knows other business owners. So if you can put customer service first and make your clients happy, then they're going to refer business to you. And this works amazingly because people trust referrals, right? People believe more about what other people say about them than what they say about themselves. So if you get a referral, you're set up to win. Now, referrals can be challenging if you don't have a proven track record of success or if your clients aren't happy. So you. To maximize the amount of referrals you get, make sure you have a proper referral system in place that incentivizes the clients to actually talk about you. The way I do it is I set up a 10% in perpetuity, forever commission to the person that sent the referral. All right, number four. Now, this might not be everyone's favorite method of getting clients. In fact, for a long time it scared me, but it certainly works in most cases. In fact, I actually have a team at my agency that does just this. And this is cold calling. Now, if you felt some fear, just me saying cold calling, well, you might not be best fit for this method. But if you're someone who has the interpersonal skills and you're comfortable getting on the phone, this can be a great source of business. Now, the best thing about this method is you only need a phone and a phone number, and there's actually ways you can go and buy lists of phone numbers and you can go contact people. You can even find lists of, of new businesses and reach out to them. Now, outreach tactics like this are just a numbers game, right? It's all about volume. So the more action you take, the more results you're going to get. Number three, LinkedIn is one of the most professional platforms out there that can help you get a ton of clients. There's over 850 million active users around the world, and LinkedIn is growing. So if you're serving companies, you can meet your ideal clients where they are. And I can tell you that the majority of your potential clients are using LinkedIn. So what you need to do is you need to go create and optimize your profile and start sending connection requests and messages. With all connections like this, you need to make sure you differentiate yourself from other people and make sure you're actually standing out to these business owners. You need to lead with value don't just copy and paste the same message to everyone. Actually identify a few key things you can do to separate yourself from everyone else. Business owners can sense that when someone's actually reaching out to them properly or just sending a canned response. Moving on to number two, social media profiles and pages. So whoever said social media is just for posting pictures, you are absolutely wrong. There is huge opportunity on social media. In fact, some of the most powerful tools for you to acquire new customers for your agency. And there's two ways you can go out and get these clients. First off, what you can do is actually build up your own personal brand. And the second way is through messaging and outreaching to other people. Now, what's better? Why don't you mix the two of these together, establish your brand and do outreach to get clients. Because, look, in today's world, almost everyone's using social media platforms. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and even TikTok. And I can guarantee that you can find potential clients using these platforms too. So here's what you need to do to start building your personal brand. You want to create content that will resonate with your target audience. And then you're going to actually go out and start reaching out to the target audience. When they jump in, they view your page, they're going to see what's going on. And if they like what you're posting and they're interested, you will have the opportunity to engage with them. Good content does three things. Number one, it educates your prospects. It helps them learn who you are and what you do. Number two, it builds credibility and trust. And then number three, it builds authority so that you have a high chance of the prospects turning into clients. Okay? And last but not least, number one is your personal network. Now, as experts say, your network is your net worth. And when it comes to getting clients for your smma, nothing beats personal relations and contacts. That's why you need to connect with people over the Internet or attend in person networking events. There are thousands of people out there that might be looking for your services. And how can you actually sell to them if you're not in front of them? So go where they are and get in front of them. If you do go to these events, prepare a little pitch, right? Practice yourself in the mirror and and prepare a pitch that you can actually go and present in front of these people. All right, so those are my top seven ways for you to land your first or next agency clients this year and beyond. Now, keep in mind, no method works for you. If you don't work for it. So make sure you're putting in the effort on all of these methods. Start with 1. Pick one method that you think is real for you and go ahead and start doing it.
