If you want to build a business, you need to focus first on, where do I get customers? And then second on pretty much everything else. People I know have gone out and tried to start a business, and they spend all this time creating the best logo, the best packaging, the best mission statement. No one bought a product because of the logo or the mission statement. They bought the product because maybe the marketing was good, but most importantly, the product was there. First, you need to understand, okay, where are the people that are going to buy my product, and how can I get in front of them? Is this product even going to be worth a dollar? They're paying, and if not, crap. The whole idea, you got to find the people, got to give them a good product. Everything else comes afterwards.
