Community Member Interview: Kendra

Kendra, a two-month member of a high-ticket sales community, landed a job through a Twitter connection that a community member accelerated. She values the mentorship, aggregated training resources, and networking over paying thousands for separate programs, and says the ROI far exceeds the monthly cost.

Alrighty, y'all. I'm here with Kendra, community member of about 2 months or so. Uh, just wanted to hop on here, talk to you a little bit about your experience so far inside and, uh, what you would tell the people who are not in here, I guess.
Um, well, I mean, it's very helpful. I get a lot of value, definitely with like the social aspect. So if you don't have anybody who's like into sales or like know what you're doing, there's definitely a lot of help in here. Like I said earlier, you can, instead of on YouTube and like struggling to find answers and just Googling, there's like real life people to actually help you who actually have that experience that you kind of are looking to get in the future.
Okay. Yeah, I would say even, even for me myself. building it from, you know, day one to now, like the people that I've been able to meet inside have been awesome. So I know like, especially for new guys coming in, this is super valuable. And I think that's the thing with high ticket sales is it's so like the network is everything or else you're just going to find yourself burning out, giving up, not finding a good opportunity. More specifically, I know recently you came across some Uh, good opportunity, not necessarily through the community, but maybe the community aided you in a bit, um, because of the network, right? Can you elaborate on how that happened?
Well, um, originally it started on Twitter and I kind of, I don't know if I'm allowed to say the offer, but—
You're good.
So I originally started on Twitter, but then Jay was talking about in Zoom who he closes for and I was like, oh. So then I didn't say anything, but when Jay was reaching out to people asking for, like, help or if we needed any help, I just kind of said, like, well, I already DM'd, like, him and, like, mentioned that. And so then that's when he said he would, like, try to help me set, like, up with that because he doesn't really answer his DMs much on Twitter. So with Jay, I get, like, faster kind of, like, communication with the guy.
Mm-hmm. Okay. So just like an interesting chain of events to where, you know, it didn't hurt that you were in here. And I've seen that happen with the, like the last guy I was speaking to, he had, there was 15 applicants for a setting job and he got hired because he mentioned he was in this community, which is insane. Um, I guess.
That's pretty cool.
Specifically for people who are on the fence of like investing in themselves, like people who think, uh, you know, I don't, I don't need, I don't need the network. I, I can just read a book. I can just go on YouTube. Like, what do you think would be, besides like the people they'll meet inside, some of the, some of the valuable stuff inside, what would they find in here?
Um, probably like the strategies because everybody has like all this training. So you can basically get like what's told in training without like having to spend thousands of dollars on it. So people will like give, oh yeah, this is what I do, but because they learned that from something else.
Yeah. It's kind of like a big melting pot of like all the, the nice sales trainings out there.
Yeah.
Cool.
It's almost like that book that families hand down like generation after generation that like you just get all the free info or like they basically tell you their advice, but then their advice they learned from somebody else. So it's like, Just a bunch of like every single thing you can learn just like in one little like community. Yeah.
And I, because I am like hands-on with it and I'm telling people this information over and over and over, like it's such common sense to me that sometimes I forget when new people come in, like we have our little 15-minute call, like they act as if I had just like spoke a different language. Like they had no idea what the heck was going on, so. Um, man, I, I speak with people that are, they're 8 months in, literally like a guy was 8 months in, couldn't find anything.
Mm-hmm.
We had our call and then he found something. And so, yeah, I think that's a super valuable part is like, not only do you get to meet people in the trenches with you, but people who are, um, a little bit more experienced, they've seen a few things and they can, they can guide you, you know, where you need to be. So.
Like the big brothers.
Yeah. So Kendra, I appreciate you hopping on. Um, someone's on the fence, they see this video, what do you tell 'em? What should they do?
Like, you mean if they want to join?
Yeah. Like, like, is, is it for the, for the investment that's, you know, couple, I don't, I don't know, maybe a dinner, the cost of a dinner per month. Like, is it positive ROI? Like, is it worth it? Oh yeah.
'Cause I even said you should raise the price. So I mean, like, They should honestly, like, I get the most value out of this. And even if like it's not sales that they end up wanting to do, it's more so like the network and the community aspect that you still get out of it all. So it's like, and it's like a Twitter but more smaller, so you get more out of it and definitely more help versus what you would get from Twitter.
Yeah, it's like a, a big productive group message. We definitely have some fun. Um, and that's a good point. Agency owners or, um, sales managers, or even if you're not directly a salesperson, like You'll benefit from, from learning the stuff that we're talking about inside. So yeah, Kendra, I appreciate you popping on. I'm gonna wrap it up here and, uh, I'll talk to you inside. Okay.
