I want to share with you guys the mindset shift that led me from 10, like, failed businesses throughout high school and college to 3 successful ones in a row, 2 of them doing 7 figures a year. If I wanted to really dumb this down, I would just tell you to learn how to solve problems better. But honestly, there's 2 sayings that everybody knows, all you guys, that are relevant to this. One, if it were easy, everyone would have it. And you salespeople know this one. 2, every no gets you closer to a yes. And I guarantee a lot of you guys watching right now used to pursue something, you faced a couple problems, you got over a few, but one stopped you. And if you would have gotten past that problem, you would have hit your big break. The fun part is you never know when that big break is coming, but you know it exists because other people have gotten it. So the way that I look at problems now in my life, in my business— and this is easier said than done— but every time a problem arises, I just see it as a test of my skill set. I see it as one more hurdle that caused most people to quit and an opportunity for me to separate myself from others. So those successful businesses, I literally just didn't quit and learned how to problem solve.
