How Brady Earns A High-Paying Income From His Phone Anywhere in The World

Brady Booth went from a warehouse job to nearly $1 million in revenue in a year by setting appointments via Instagram DMs. He sends 20 messages per hour in 45-minute blocks and books 14-20 appointments daily, earning consistent $9-10K months from his phone anywhere in the world.

Alrighty, you guys, we are back with another interview. We got Brady Booth. Brady, you're in Ohio, right?
Yes, sir. Cincinnati, Ohio.
So, uh, you're doing all this, all this DM setting revenue. Why aren't you in like Miami yet or something?
Right, man. That's the goal. I actually got a brother that's moving down there in 2 months, funny enough.
Cold weather's brutal, man. But yeah, I appreciate you coming on, man. Um, I don't even know what the title of this is gonna be, but I just found out after connecting with Brady after a while, basically you said you're almost at a million collected in DM setting, right?
Yep. So we're sitting around, I think it's at 874,000. I have a few that I still need to update that's probably gonna push me over 900K, but this month or 100% the beginning of next month, I'll be hitting a million. And that's from starting on my offer, my first offer in February of last year. So I could have done it way sooner. But basically right now where I'm sitting, I'm going to hit $1 million in cash collected in a full year.
Yeah. So definitely one of the more vetted DM setters. It's not everyone in the DM setting space that can say, I've done $1 million cash collected by sending messages on Instagram. Are you most— you're on Instagram only or are you doing other platforms?
Yep, Instagram only.
Okay. Well, yeah. So, I mean, by setting and having closed nearly $1 million now, you've definitely had some good months yourself, like not quite $10K but almost there multiple times, which, I mean, yeah, it feels good to check the box, but like, dude, you're definitely probably still feeling like the fruits of your labor at where you're at, you know? Um, what, uh, what were you doing before you got into the community, but also just like the high-ticket sales space?
So funny enough, I had graduated high school and I didn't really know what to do with myself. So I went to college at Miami University, Ohio, Oxford. So I went there and I went for forensic investigation, and after 2 years, I just didn't see myself completing this. I didn't see myself being a forensic investigator or a police officer or whatever fancy word for it. And so I opted to drop out. And after that, I took a little break. I didn't do anything. I actually, I was reselling like PS5s and Jordans and all types of stuff, making a little bit of money here and there, enough to go down to Miami and stuff like that, visit family in other states, so on and so forth. But then Things slowed up and I started working at a Kohl's warehouse. And so I was doing physical labor basically 12 hours a day, just grinding it out, basically making nothing, working with people that were 40, 50, 60 years older than me. And once I saw that for the first month I was there, then I really realized I needed to step up and I needed to apply myself. And the one thing that I told myself was I need to find something that corresponds with, I like how I can make money with my skillset. I don't wanna work for an hourly company where I get paid a base pay for the hours I work. I want to get paid for what I'm worth. And that's how I found high ticket sales.
Yeah. What, what led you to high ticket sales versus any other kind of sales out there?
So I like the, Uh, well, with DM setting, obviously I loved how you can basically work from anywhere in the world is what the main factor was for me because I love to travel. Uh, I love to meet new people. I love just going anywhere and everywhere in the world. So DM setting, uh, let me do that. So I literally work from my phone every single day. So I can be in Quebec, I could be in Canada, Taiwan, I can be down in Florida or California and I could be working. And that's what—
Mm-hmm.
Usually, or not usually, but that's what led me into this space to begin with. And at first I didn't really apply myself. I just kind of looked around. I was peeking around what other people were doing, what different type of offers, how much you can make, so on and so forth.
Yeah. Do you have a second phone yet?
No, I do not actually. I actually just broke the one I had, so I had to buy a new one. But that would definitely be like a work phone type of thing. Yeah.
I know some guys that that do that. I wouldn't be surprised if you're doing, you know, you're really dialed on it. Like, I wouldn't be surprised if you did have one, but—
Oh yeah, I'll definitely consider that. That's a good idea.
So I guess you— we were talking a little bit before we turned this on, and you're pretty much on the second offer that you ever landed on. You're still there. It's 11 months later, is that right?
Yep. So I So it's been since, uh, mid-May since I've been on this offer. So it's been a little less than a year.
Okay. Um, but then I was gonna get to the first offer. Um, and so you had an experience that, you know, I'm not gonna— unfortunately for just the way that this industry is, like, it's not really an uncommon experience. Like, you got onto an offer that I don't know, maybe when you joined you thought it was going to be something it wasn't, but you realized like, this is not the money-making opportunity for me. Um, when you realized that you weren't going to be making $15,000 per month there, why did you stay on that offer?
So as I had said before, I, I wanted to hop into an industry or a career, so to say, that allowed me to make money off of my capabilities and off of my skill set. So I knew going into this game that I was going to have to prove myself. I was going to have to put my work on the table and show that I'm worth what I'm worth getting paid and worth working on an offer that is a high-ticket offer rather than a low-ticket. So I stuck with this offer because basically I wanted the capability of whenever I was going to go out and search for another offer that's better than the one I first started with, Which was a triathlon offer. We taught triathlon athletes how to train, basically just to become better overall, to increase their times in the races, whether you run triathlons or marathons. But I stuck with it because I knew for a fact that if I was able to increase their numbers, their revenue, and their appointments set per day and cash collected, then whenever I moved on, I was going to be able to find a better offer. So I went from month 1, taking this offer from 15 sets a day to 45+ each and every month for the 3 months I was there. And I gained the experience I needed in the DMs. I proved my worth. And when the time was right, uh, my sales manager Joey approached me with another offer, which is the one I'm on right now.
Yeah. Yeah. That's, uh, I mean, I don't ever tell anyone to work for free or work for less than what you're worth, but It's, well, one, like, it's better than doing nothing because then you have, you at least have the experience to go and leverage into something. Um, that kind of separates you from, uh, other people that haven't done it before. Like most people that get into DM setting, they don't, they don't have DM setting experience. Like a lot of people, it's their first time doing it.
Right.
Some people it's not, but I mean, you basically were like, well, my odds are higher if I do have experience, so I'm just gonna get experience. And then eventually got connected with, you mentioned Joey, who's a guy, solid guy, like always sharing roles for me and, or from, I guess, sharing roles to me, to you. They go in the community. He's a lot of guys like gotten connected with him.
Right.
What's it been like kind of having someone like Joey in your corner where, you know, he knows that you're capable? What kind of like confidence does that give you? Should anything ever happen to your, your current gig, uh, or moving forward, just having him in your corner.
Right. So being able to say that I'm approaching $1 million in sale is the difference maker there, because if my entire offer that I'm working on right now was just to go bankrupt, or if I was to get fired for some reason, then I could basically work for any company That Joey has to offer. So any single— so just for context as well, Joey is a sales manager who hooks up appointment setters with offers that are in need of appointment setters. So if I was to just leave this offer right now, I would have thousands, if not hundreds and tens of thousands of offers just laid on the table for me now. Because I've—
Yeah.
As I've said earlier, I've proved myself. And also I'm hitting this milestone of $1 million of, uh, collected cash in a single year. So that stands out whenever you're looking for a DM setter, because like you had mentioned earlier, there's not many people that are DM setting that can honestly say that.
Yeah, no, I literally don't even think I've heard those words in the same sentence together. I'm sure there's people that have gotten close and who have done it, but like, it's just, it's not a very common thing. You hear that with closing. It's like, yeah, I've closed $1 million. Oh yeah, easily more than that. But yeah, I mean, with DM setting, it's just like, yeah, it definitely gets someone's attention. I guess like you mentioned you like to travel a lot. Have you been able to take any cool trips since you've been doing all this?
That's funny you asked that. So my girlfriend that I've been with for 5 and a half years now, it's her 22nd birthday in December of this year. I'm taking her down to— I feel like I go to Florida like 5 times a year, but I'm taking her down to Florida for Universal Orlando because she's a huge Harry Potter fan. So I'm getting to take her to that, which is a blessing because obviously, like, she's been wanting to do this ever since she was a little kid type of thing. So for me to be financially stable to be able to do that for her is just mind-blowing to me, especially just being able to send text messages on my phone for a living for a few hours a day. It's nuts.
Yeah, that's a, that's a real subtle flex. You guys have been to That Orlando Disney World or whatever, like all that, I've only been one time as a kid. It's not cheap, bro. It's like one of the most expensive things you can do.
Yeah, it's, it's, it's nuts. And I mean, obviously, luckily flights are a little cheaper, but yeah, it is insane what they charge just to go to the park and for the food. Yeah, we're staying in a resort on the premises as well, so like that's a blessing as well. But yeah, it's been amazing.
Nice, dude. What, uh, what does the average like workday look like for you? Like, you know, a vetted DM setter who's probably found his like methodology, found what works for you. Like, what does the average day look like?
So it's a little different every day. I don't really like keep myself to like a strict profile. Um, I mean, I have been working on that a little bit. Obviously I wake up in the morning, I do what I gotta get done. I like getting all of like my quote unquote chores and errands done in the morning so I have the entire day to work and then be free basically. But basically I wake up, get everything done that I need to outside the sales, outside the DMs. And then once I get into the DMs, I start off by doing 20 outbound. And then each and every hour we do 20 outbound. So in outbound, I mean I'm messaging followers. And we have anywhere from like 200 to 300 followers coming in every single day. And basically it's endless lead flow. And we have at least 30, 40 people inbound messaging us on a regular daily basis as well, excuse me, asking what our prices is or asking for YouTube links, so on and so forth. So I usually work in 45-minute intervals and then I give myself a 10-minute break and then I go back to it. And then once that next hour hits, then I I do another 20 outbound and then I restart and I keep it going.
Oh, and how many hours do you do that for?
So it's usually, I would, I mean, if I had to put my thumb on it, it's different every single day. Like I said, some days I'm working 8, 9, 10 hours. Other days I'm working 4, 5, 6. It's just like, obviously if the inbound is there, I focus on that the most, which I work a little bit less because like we're booking in what, like 14 to 20 plus appointments every single day. So you can only fit so much on this calendar. And we book for next day or same day. We don't usually like booking 2 days out because, um, obviously people forget about it. People don't put it on their calendar. People just don't pick up.
Yeah. I always tell people, I mean, it sounds like you're in a DM role where they have a really, they have good lead flow and they have like systems and processes in place. But I always tell people, man, like the DM setting role, Is if you can find a good one, it's one of the better roles that you can have in high-ticket sales. Like the time freedom that you can have for the earning potential that comes with it is, you know, it's arguably up there with the closing role.
Right.
Because closing roles, it's like, you know, you wanna talk to 8 people, there's 8 hours of your day that's already booked and like you have to be in front of the computer. So I wanted to ask you, like, if there's any DM setters or aspiring DM setters listening, like, what's some, what are some things that you've learned how to do working in this role that have made your job easier, have made you more efficient, made you more money, and just like overall given you a better experience than when you first started?
So, I mean, simple thing is just having a laptop, obviously. Uh, that's the first thing. I think being able to have a phone, and like you were saying earlier, maybe even having 2 phones would be beneficial for me now, which I'm gonna look into. But having a laptop is the world, cuz obviously you're having meetings with your team and also it's another place to send DMs and pull up information. Well, that's as simple as it gets. If I was to suggest anything, I would suggest instead of trying to learn it on your own, 100% invest into a community or a course. And obviously, like you all know, I suggest Dylan's. At the end of the day, it was by far— I vetted all of these different courses, I vetted all of these different communities, and Dylan's ended up being the best for me because it teaches you how to go from ground zero all the way to Z. It has roadmaps filled out of how to hit your first $10K months. And obviously, as we've seen, I'm going to do that this year consistently if I'm hitting $9.7K, $9.2K, $9.4K, $9.3K. So within a year I hit my goal, which my goal last year was only to hit $5.5K consistent months.
Yeah.
Now obviously we're sitting here doing $10,000 months just about, and soon probably to be doing $12K to $15K or $14K because we just upped ad spend to $1,000 a day in the DMs, which is nuts. But I would say get into a community. Suggested or suggesting Dylan's, because like I said, it takes you from ground zero to Z, uh, the roadmap. You get the vetted offers in the community. You get, uh, all of these connections around you. But that is the most important thing, the connections, talking to as many people in the sales community as possible, providing value for them so that when the time is right, they can provide value for you. And that probably came out a little wrong, but, uh, Basically just scratching each other's back, having somebody basically to ask questions or go to or also give awareness to. But connections is probably everything at the end of the day.
I always tell people, man, like, you know, I know some really, really, really good sales reps and, you know, maybe they stumble their way into a good role and they stay there forever. But the guys that I know that are Consistently earning the most, and they've been doing that for the longest amount of time, it's like, yeah, they're usually pretty good at what they do, but they're always connected.
Mm-hmm.
Like they always have, you know, 5 people, 5 high-level people in their circle so that should anything happen to their role, they can send off a couple messages, have 3 interviews lined up within the next 3 days, and have something likely on the table in front of them. So that's, I mean, I talk about that all day, every day, and I would definitely agree. Let's see. I guess, I don't know, with DM setting, we were talking about phone setting before and how you've started messing around with it. Do you have intentions of leaning more into phone setting, eventually going to closing, or do you just like DMs?
So obviously the pretty thing about DM setting is that you can do it anywhere in the world, right? You don't have anything on the calendar other than when you want to put in your work into the DMs, that's when you get to work. So I'm learning, I call it discovery calls. Obviously a lot of people do too, but appointment setting on the phone, doing discovery calls, for example, for the offer I'm on right now, we teach local businesses how to run ads on Instagram so that they can become the best known In their local area, basically a local celebrity. And so we drive leads as a funnel into Instagram. But where I'm at right now, I'm actually starting to work on an offer where I'm going to basically supply business owners with appointment setters as well, sort of like what Joey, my sales manager, did for me whenever he put me on my first and my second offer. But I have the experience, I have the offer, I have everything in my mind. Basically, I want to go from DM appointment setting to then offering what I learned over this last year and putting it in other offers and helping them scale their businesses with appointment setters. So basically, like I said, I have everything like the skills and everything like that. I just have to apply it now and market myself. And I already learned the ad side of things as well on the offer I'm on. And basically I just put 2 and 2 together and yeah, that's what I'm gonna be working on this year. But I don't really have any intentions of becoming a closer or becoming a, uh, a phone setter, which I do phone setting for companies here and there just when they need help. And I'm, I'm actually undefeated when it comes to that. I'm 13 for 13 on, uh, discovery calls. I haven't ever not missed one is the crazy thing.
Right. Well, you know, that's what I like about DM setting is, you know, it's, it's more spaced out and you can really think strategically about what you're going to say, how that's going to influence the direction of the conversation, how you eventually get them down to where you want them to, which is booking a call.
Right.
And I feel like it's, it's a lot more forgiving if your English is good, um, and you can speak well and write well. It's a lot more forgiving than like phone setting. But if you can really Master DM setting and you can speak well, then phone setting's a breeze. Like 13 for 13 is just crazy.
Yeah, 100%. I've only done it a few times, obviously, but yeah.
Yeah. Well, let's see, man. I guess for someone that, I don't know, maybe, maybe they're in your position where it's like, hey, I'm, I'm in school for something I don't like, or I'm in this job where I look around and I don't, I don't like what I, what I'm seeing, like these people that are older than me and not happy. Um, I mean, it doesn't even necessarily have to be tied to the community, but like, what would you say, I guess, to, to the version of you that chose this path like a little over a year ago?
Um, are you asking basically like what I would suggest to other people trying to get into the industry?
Yeah, like, like knowing what you've done now, um, like, hey, I've done Multiple $9,000 months remote from my phone, high-ticket sales. You know, it's legit. Um, like if you were sitting across the table with yourself, uh, a little over a year ago before you were doing any of this while you were working in the warehouse job and that person was like, Brady, like give, give me some advice. How do I get, how do I be like you? What do I do? What would you like tell that person? Right.
So, um, funny enough as well, I've actually, uh, trained a few people to get into high-ticket sales, just like smaller versions. Of what I've learned. But I basically just suggest everybody just keep your head down, apply yourself. And if you're not gonna invest into a course or a community, then you really have to keep your head down because you're not gonna be able to jump light speeds ahead if you were to join a course or a class or a community. Because like I said, it, it has all of this information in these classes that propel you light years ahead. Of where you would be if you were to just do it all on your own for free. But if I was to just suggest anything, you just have to apply yourself. You need to put hours upon hours into this every day. Trick your brain into loving what you're doing. I mean, maybe don't even trick it. Maybe you do love what you're doing, but you just have to grind out and sit there every single day and put in effort towards learning as much as possible and connecting with as much or as many people in this space as possible. And, uh, yeah, basically.
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, all that is super valid. I would say the last thing I wanted to ask you, and you might need to think about this a little bit, but in, in a year's time, like, and honestly, like less than a year's time, cuz the first role was, you were really just there for the experience and But like how many times have you ROI'd on your like community, like what you paid to get in?
So my first month on the offer I'm on now, I paid it back in full. So my first offer, obviously I used that as a stepping stone as of to get the foot through the door. But the first month I got on my new offer, I had more than doubled what I paid to get into the course. And as soon as I did that, I paid off my credit card right then and there. The minute I got it into my bank account, I paid it off. But if I had to put a number to like how many times I've like gotten the return on the investment on the community, I would probably say I couldn't even put a number to it, man. It's a lot though. I will admit that. But it's probably—
Think about.
Yeah, it's probably over 20, 100%, like easily, maybe 30s, 40s, but I would have to look at obviously my commissions and everything.
It's, it's just crazy to think about because like now, you know, we're one year in, you've got the foundation, like we're already talking about what's going to happen next year. How at the time, you know, dude, like I, I was in a similar position where I paid someone for access to learn from them and all this stuff a while ago. And at the time I was like, man, it's a lot of money, you know. And then looking in hindsight, it's like, dude, what I learned and the opportunities that I got opened up to and the connections I've made, like, I would do that 100 times over now knowing what came of it, you know? So, um, I always like to kind of get an idea of that. It's pretty cool to think about, but I don't really have anything else, man. I think, um, I mean, a lot of people that are joining these days, they love the idea of the DM stuff. And so anytime I can get someone in who's, um, doing it at a high level, like, it's always really useful to those guys. I would want to point people to you to connect because like I know you know the importance of that. I know it, and hopefully these whoever's watching knows that. But whatever kind of social media you want me to link in here, if any, I'll do it in the description so you guys can go chat with Brady and hopefully provide value and don't just take take take. But I mean, Brady, like dude, you're posting, you're posting roles in the community now. Like you're I don't know how many you posted recently, but like. Good guy to know, you know?
Yeah. Yeah. I'm definitely gonna outbound my resources and my connections. I'm gonna start at least trying to put people on offers like 3 or 4 times a week. I want to get up to 5 regularly per week starting within the next few weeks. And, but yeah, basically just people flood me with offers. They're like, hey, do you got an appointment setter for this or this or that or that? But Yeah, basically if you guys are ever needing any help, whether it's applying for a job or making yourself stand out, becoming the best known as an appointment setter or a closer or anything like that, hopping on an offer, then yeah, just hit me up. I'm glad to help each and every one of you guys out. And I'll have Dylan link my Instagram and my X or Twitter account down below. I'm not usually on Instagram. I'm gonna be using that for my business here. Within the next few months, if you guys would want to give that a follow. But yeah, the last thing I wanted to suggest though, real fast, was you want to stand out from the crowd. You don't want to send the same message every single time if you're applying for jobs, messaging people on Twitter, messaging people on Instagram, or whatever it is, applying just as a, uh, an application. Because the offer I'm on right now, guys, I get flooded with appointment setters and closers and VAs and digital marketers and all this shit, and none of them stand out. Every single one of them send the same exact message that they probably learned by buying a $5 course somewhere, or somebody just told them to do it for free because they messaged free on Twitter to get some little thing. But in Dylan's course, for example, he teaches you the best way to outbound And message these people to then go on to basically get a reply because you stand out. So for example, like if I was to message someone, I would be like, if I was messaging Dylan and I didn't know who he was, but I saw his offer, I'd be like, hey Dylan, saw you posted a DM appointment setting offer. I've collected $1 million in cash over the last 8 months. Worth a chat? And that catches his eye then because he's like, oh shit, I have— this guy has collected $800K in cash or $1 million in cash in 8 months DM setting. Like that's unheard of. So then that would catch his eye. So it's as simple as that, guys. You just got to apply yourself and be different. Learn to be different than everybody else. Don't go with the crowd.
Yeah, you gotta, you gotta pack the value and you gotta be a little bit different. You gotta show your competence. You gotta be confident. Um, yeah, and I get so many of those too, bro. Like, you need a closer, need a setter. Hey, I'm a trained appointment setter. This is that.
Like, exactly. Yeah.
I mean, and then I don't want to make this a whole DM setting training course right here, but right, right. Yeah, there's a lot I'm sure both of us could say on that.
Yeah, 100%.
But yeah, man, I mean, we could, we could wrap it up there.
Um, awesome.
I appreciate you coming on. And then I'm excited to see, bro, like Where you can take your business here in the, in the next few months. And like I said, I'm happy to send you some referrals, um, and whatever we can do to, to get opened up to those jobs that you're going to be creating, like, would love to have them in the community. So, um, if you guys want to connect with Brady, I'll link— I'll talk to you after, we'll figure out what you want to put down there, put it down there. Um, and yeah, we'll take it from there. So. Thank you for watching, you guys, and hopefully we'll see you inside soon.
Awesome.
Peace.
