Alrighty, y'all, we're back. Another community member interview. This time we got the OG, Mr. Tristan.
Yo, yo.
The DQ God. Um, Tristan and I have been working together before the community was even a thing, and I thought, who, who better to have than, than this guy who's seen it from the ground up? So Tristan, thank you for coming. I'll give you an open floor. When you think about the community, man, what do you think about?
Dude, it's like insane value because I mean, I'm not going to— I've been in a lot of groups and some are expensive. I'm not going to say names, but like the value that you get from this group and being able to know that your money is going— like the person that you're giving the money to actually cares about developing the community. And, you know, showing up and answering questions and being like attentive, it means a lot. Especially when you're like, the high ticket space is mad confusing. So having some sort of guidance and support is super, super valuable.
Yeah.
And you should charge more.
Yeah, soon. That's actually, you're not the first person to say that on one of these interviews. Um, so being, so just for context, so people know, you were a young dude, didn't go to college, actually took a different route. Um, when I met you, you were doing like insurance work, right? Not insurance sales, but like insurance work.
It was like, it was insurance adjusting. And like, for the most part, I'd say, I'm, I'm sure I'm like most kids where they're just like confused outta high school and you just don't know what to do.
Yeah.
Um, and then I saw your tweet in like May or June. It must have been May or June. It was like, I'll help one kid or whatever, like break into space, like before the community was a thing. And I was like, oh, fuck it, I'll just throw my name into like the list. And I remember like, I've never— I never was on a Zoom call before, Dylan. So I was like, so I almost didn't— I almost no-showed your Zoom call because I was so nervous. And you were at like, you were so chill, you're at like a coffee shop. And I'm like, I was like shaking before my Zoom call with you. I'm like, dude, like, oh my God, I don't know. I don't want to do this, but I'm like, I'm fucking lost. Like I need to, I need to try something. And now we're here. So.
Yeah. Yeah, dude. I mean, that just, that's a good testament. Even though this, some of this stuff was before the community, it's a perfect example of, dude, the people, like the people you know in this high ticket sales space are everything. Like, Uh, I know the offer that you're on right now closing, like you're doing pretty good. Uh, you got there because of someone, you know, right? That one in particular didn't come from the community, but just goes to show like there, there are so many people in here who are just hopping in and then a week later, like getting connected to this guy or that guy, or, you know, getting interviews and all that. Um, so for. Actually, actually, let me back up. Besides just having friends and people to like talk with all day long, what is like one or two things from the community specifically that have like stuck out to you as super useful?
One, it's the most active community compared to all of the other ones I'm a part of. Two, The, the, again, it kind of goes with the first part, like the activity is the, the opportunities. And I haven't gone, I haven't applied to any of the opportunities on here, but you know, like genuinely, I think it's probably the most active one whenever opportunities come in.
Mm-hmm.
And that's why I'll get people on my Twitter DMs being like, yo, Tristan, like, how did you break in? And I'll just send them your way. I'm like, easiest way is to hit up Dylan and join and There's like job opportunities that, you know, are constantly getting flooded genuinely compared to other ones. That in itself, as well as like you said, knowing people, you know, because there's a ton of like, because you know, you know, big names like Leo, David. I mean, Justin just like hired some guy randomly on here. So it's just like knowing people is how you get the good offers.
It's everything. And then once you know them, Like my, my own experience is right now I'm selling, closing for 2 different offers and they both came from that like higher level network. I would never have gotten them otherwise. So yeah, dude, I think that's, that's a super important part to emphasize. I mean, I think it's safe to say both you and me, because of the network that we have, including each other, like if either of us ever found ourselves in like a really tough spot where it's like, ah dude, I really need something, I need to find a team. Like we could get plugged in in like a week. Like it happens that fast. So we just hit 5 minutes on this. I wanna keep it short for the people, but if you're considering this, maybe you're a younger dude, you are looking for something new, you wanna make some money, do it from home or wherever you want to, then get inside and meet guys like Tristan. There's a lot of guys like Tristan, guys like me who have done it just a little bit longer. Yeah, it's impossible to fail. It's impossible to fail. So get inside, meet this guy, meet me. See you soon.
