Meet the final boss of DM appointment setting

In this informal, interview‑style YouTube video, host Speaker A chats with Noah, a self‑described "final boss" of direct‑message (DM) appointment setting. Noah recounts a recent trip to Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, explains how he entered the DM setting space, and details his progression from a single‑team setter to managing multiple niche sales teams—including fitness, financial, and an upcoming all‑female team. He shares concrete income figures, claiming consistent $10K+ months and a $6K‑$7K part‑time offer he recently declined, attributing his success to the community led by Dylan Vergara, which provided networking, mentorship, and job opportunities. Noah discusses his future plans: moving to Austin, potentially leaving his full‑time job, buying a ranch with horses, and expanding his side‑business. The video also teases a new graphic‑design project and an upcoming interview with another high‑performing DM setter. Throughout, the hosts adopt a conversational, enthusiastic tone, peppered with humor and meta‑commentary about the video’s informal production style.

Welcome back to a new video. This is the spring break slime out video with the boy. Yeah, Noah, let's go eat. Mr. Dylan Vergara, welcome back from the, the holy land of Orlando, Florida. How do you feel? How was it?
Who'd you meet up with?
It feels so good to have the Texas sun on my skin and grazing my face again, cuz Orlando, unless you're going to Disney, dude, like, there's no reason for you to be there. So why were you there? I went to the Arnold Palmer Invitational. My tax guy hooked it up with some box seats, so was there with the boys. That was cool. Everything else was not cool. Hard to find a good place to eat, nowhere to run, didn't go to the gym once, had a hot stomach for half the time. I was telling him, yeah bro, don't go to Orlando. Traffic for no reason is so bad there. Like, it's a big city, but it's, it's kind of sprawling and it's just so bad everywhere you go. But yeah, it was a good trip. Little weekend trip to Orlando.
For context, this might be the richest man in Austin, Texas. He was out there because he actually threw the Arnold Palmer Classic. He hosted it himself. He posted a picture on Instagram the other day. He pointed at like the name of like the people who bought boxes there. I mean, he bought all of them. Like, how does somebody do that, you know? He showed up in a Porsche today. He just— I don't know, I aspire to be this Appointment setting, bro. Nobody will tell you about it, but he is an outbound cold DM setter. In 2019, I think he made $1.2 million through the DM.
Uh, hold on, have y'all addressed his—
No, we haven't.
Who are you?
No, no, hold on.
This guy's got the diamonds dancing on his neck on a Tuesday at 1 PM. No, that's actually the meme. Tuesday at 1 PM at Freebirds. DM setter extraordinaire over here, man. This guy, how many teams do you manage?
Really, really manage? I manage one. I help with another one, but I just intro'd the guy to the agency that I work with so I can kind of like offboard him. Uh, I'm not gonna name drop him, but yeah, I don't know. I work with 2 fitness clients right now. Pretty soon I'm gonna be taking on a financial team and helping— or I think they're a financial team, I need to look more into the offer. And pretty soon I'm gonna be building out an all-female sales team if If I remember correctly. So like, I'm not playing.
Terrible idea. Who let, who let this guy do that?
Well, no, they do all like, uh, they do DM closing. So, uh, that's kind of like my thing. Tomorrow I'm gonna spend way too much time building out like DM setting for dummies because there's some people that need it on the teams that I manage right now. And, uh—
Can you stop saying um, please?
It's just my—
That's a lot of cuts for Tony right there. I thought I was bad. Yeah, I know, dude. But how many teams are you DM setting for right now?
Um, 2. 2? Uh, and I'm slowly— my bad, my fault. I'm stepping out of the DM role for one of them. Um, see, and I'm just gonna keep thinking about it.
That's why he's the DM setter. He can't form an articulate— uh, I'm actually just as bad. He can't form an actual sentence. You got to sit down and type it out and think about it.
I haven't thought about one text message I've sent before, but I'm starting to take calls for one of these offers. Slowly I'm gonna step into more of like, I would call like triage role, and then doing some self-setting and everything. But ultimately what'll end up happening is I'll step away from most of the other like sales roles that I do. I'll keep the, the one, one of the DM setting roles probably forever, and then manage some teams And whatnot. I just signed the offer letter today for the agency that I work with and managing their teams, and we're rapidly like bringing on clients right now. I'm gonna help them build out something for—they have an info product that they sell as well. So I'm gonna help them build that out. Hopefully, that's passive income for the rest of my life, and those guys can just continue to carry me off into the sunset. Then one day, maybe I'll go back and work at HEB or something like that when this is all said and done, and I'm done being a. Internet cowboy or whatever.
Get a ranch with the boys.
Yeah, I've been telling him. I keep telling him that I'm just gonna retire right now and buy 3 acres with horses and that's it. Just straight horses, nothing else. Well, now I got some homies that they have like horse like stables in Houston. It's a really big thing out there and they just sell racehorses and you make crazy bread on them if you like breed them and like raise them right. Uh, you can spend A lot of money on a horse.
Into pit bulls.
I have some friends who do that, like the exotic bullies or whatever. That's just kind of fucked up though. Those dogs don't live that long because they breed them like with 17 other mixes and then they can barely stand up on their own. Yeah.
Yeah. Yo, people are loving the Office episode. They are. But yeah, y'all let us know because that one we did a little bit differently. It was a little less formal and we kind of just pick up the camera and Or we didn't really plan to do any of that. We just filmed exactly what was happening. Y'all let us know if you like that, because this one we have a script. Noah's been studying while I was in Orlando. That's why he says "uh" so many times.
This is all scripted.
I remember he's looking at his notes app.
Oh man! Show up to the meeting. Show up to the meeting. I am going to be on here with. The setters that I coach, as of right now, it should be— I think there's 10 altogether. And get them on there, talk to them for a little bit, talk to them about setting appointments and making sure that the sales process runs smoothly for the offers that they're on. We manage a good amount of teams in different niches and everything, some pretty like high-level B2C stuff and some normal like kind of like Biz op type stuff. There is some B to B aspects of it in here as well too. I think we have one setter from like a B to B offer that should be joining, but nobody's gotten on. Well, I started a minute ago, so I guess I'll give it a second. Yeah, we're muted right now. Yeah, nobody's in here. Oh, never mind. Danica. Danica is the most consistent setter on this team. Shout out Danica. Yeah, Danica's a dog. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. This is the first time in a while his calendar's been packed out too, so definitely we're doing the right thing there for sure. Hopefully we get some more closes in because we're already past like what the team made last month, so we're winning right now and we'll just keep on doing that.
So, little teaser for you guys. We hired a graphic designer for this next project because of sales. I'm not gonna say too much, but some first renditions of our logo and some of the stuff we're gonna be using. I think I like this one the most, but gave him feedback and we should, should have something cooking up soon. Y'all stay tuned. We're running an interview with this guy.
What's up everybody, about to lock in.
If you guys don't know who this is, he was in— if you saw our meetup video, if you were at the meetup, he was front and center with our cameraman helping narrate the whole thing. But we filmed the interview back in the day, pop it up. He's just been crushing it. I mean, he's doing all this stuff, DM setting, managing, but he's also still working a full-time job doing something else where he gets paid decently. So he juggles the two. You're moving down here in like 3 weeks with the guy behind the camera. Yeah, I like to showcase what he does because he's been doing it for a while, making decent money on the side while managing like a full-time— how are you, like 40 hours a week or like how much are you working? Yeah, not to get too much into detail, if you watch the interview you can see what he does, but I mean, you're not just sitting on your ass all day like being able to scroll on your phone and stuff like that.
Yeah, there was a point once I got into DM setting that I had to go to Europe for like 3 months. I had to do my job on a completely different, like, time scale, time system, or whatever. It was definitely an interesting adjustment at first, but I think I had some of my biggest months when I was out in Europe when I think back on it. So yeah, just managing my time well and doing my thing.
Uh, but he just turned 21, and he's— I mean, for anyone who's 21 watching this, doing pretty well. You might want to consider taking after him, learning from him. You posted in the wins channel you did the What, like $6K part-time last month setting? DM setting?
Yeah, so I was telling the guy behind the camera and another dude that we know in the space, I'm pretty like humble I guess about like the numbers and everything. I don't really like to talk about it too much but if you combine what I've made every month from like my normal job plus sales. Sales for one always pays me more. If you put them together, I don't think I've dropped below a $10K month since last year sometime, probably in April, which was my second month in the space. Actually, it was March. March of last year was the last time I had a sub-$10K month.
That's wild.
Yeah, yeah. Once again, just managing my time well.
For, for those of you who are like, oh, I, I can't do this because I have this job, I have these bills, I mean, you're, you're in a fortunate situation where you don't have like house payment and 3 kids and like you're living pretty lean, which is how you should do it. It's what I did. But I mean, he's just proof Dude, you can do this. Almost been a year now that you've been doing like at a high, pretty high level. So if you guys are watching this and you're like, I don't know if I could do it alongside my job, DM setting is the most flexible one. The challenge becomes like finding a good DM setting role because there's a lot of bad ones. But you can ask this guy right here, he's living, walking, breathing proof that, uh, the good ones do exist. But you don't find the good ones on Facebook groups.
Yeah, so that is definitely the truth. Um, every offer that I've worked worked with has come through my personal network, and my personal network is essentially just the community. I've met a few people outside of the community just through like tertiary connections or whatever, and then like the meetup. I met a few guys at the meetup that aren't involved in the community or anything like that, but I know right now as I like transition to moving here, there's like 2 or 3 hiring managers that hit me up like once a month and they're like, hey man, like When are you gonna be done doing what you're doing so we can get you like on a team and everything? And they're guys from the community or guys that I know through you. Like just the other day I had to kind of like say no to an offer because I'm getting a little bit busier with the management and stuff like that. Yeah, like even in that situation, right, like that's probably— I mean, it was a triage role with a quick ramp to closing, and that would probably put— it'd probably be like a $6K or $7K offer at first for what would probably be pretty limited and then ramping into closing with a $10K package and a pretty slammed calendar from what I understand, which is greatly above, you know, $10K months and everything, the stuff that like people dream of in the space. And I had to say no to it, right? From somebody that I only met through the community, through knowing Dylan and everything. So yeah, like the community changed my life. I wouldn't even be sitting here in this chair right now. If it weren't for me joining the community. So if there's one thing that I can tell you to do, it's get connected, stay connected, and keep using those connections.
Yeah, we got to pull up the clip of the sales call where I— back when I was taking the calls, I had to objection handle him. I'm just kidding. I don't even remember. I think you were like already decided when you joined, or when you came into the call, you were like, yeah, I want to join this. I've already done research.
Yeah, so now actually, I don't know, this might be good for the video too. I was in a different group before I joined Dylan's, and I think I talked about that in my interview. I still like, obviously I won't say anybody's like name or anything like that, but I got into a community with some dudes that, you know, most of them that I met at that time, they all have like normal jobs again and stuff like that. Whenever I joined, it was like the typical like sales training. If you You paid like an upsell or whatever, they would place you and then that never went anywhere. I saw some people go up and then never end up on offers and stuff like that. Pretty typical in the space. So Dylan showed up on my algorithm and I think it was when he was recording ads at this place still sitting right here.
That wall right there.
Yeah, yeah.
If you guys recognise that wall, you're an OG.
Yeah, over in the corner. No, there was no objection whenever I got on the call with Dylan. I emailed him like twice. Like I emailed him, I DM'd him, I did everything that I could to join the community. I've done business before getting into the online sales and stuff. I know how much more important it is just to be like connected and put yourself in a situation to win, right. Because ultimately winners win and naturally if that's you, there's not a sales training out there that's going to put you at $15K a month week and a half or whatever because you learned how to objection handle, right? Like the people you know is what's gonna connect you to those high-ticket offers, those ones where you know you're making like a life-changing income. Yeah, we talked about like I'm 21 and I probably make more than, you know, people with like doctorates and stuff like that. Very humbly, of course. Yeah, I don't know, kind of, kind of wants that.
What you just said, like the There's no sales training that's gonna put you in a position to see $15K come into your bank account on a monthly basis because you could be good enough to get those roles, but if you're not connected to the right people— I feel like I say that all the freaking time, but it's true— like, you're just not gonna get them. Like, the roles where people are making $15K, $20K, $30K per month, they're not, they're not just being thrown around willy-nilly. Like, you have to know people who are like on those teams or managing those teams or connected to those business owners. Like, it doesn't matter what sales training you went through, it's who do you know. Like, do you have that contact that can extend that offer to you? Because like the offer that you were just talking about that you turned down, like it's a good one that a lot of people would want. And I mean, that, that one, like I know because I shared it, he was like, dude, who do you know? Like, who would you recommend? He didn't say, hey, post this in front of thousands of people so I could sort through 100 applications. He was like, who's good? So yeah, sales training isn't going to get you paid. It's not going to like change the direction of your life. So, so you heard from the DM setting final boss, someone who started as part-time DM setter, started stacking offers, started managing offers, coaching other setters, all while having a full-time job that a lot of people work really hard to just get that and just work that. I mean, a few things to take away from this guy. He's probably not too different than you, has a job now, has a professional career that he's doing, but wants to make that side money. He's now in the position where I think we mentioned it, he's gonna move to Austin, leave that job behind, go all in on this high-ticket space. He's probably gonna start doing more than that. But for any of you guys that think like, oh, there's no way I can start doing this part-time, or, you know, I don't have a sales background, neither did he. He has like a cybersecurity background, which is kind of the opposite of sales. And so if you can just be competent in one industry and move, like just put that competence and that effort and focus it in another direction, I mean, this one, the bar is really, really low compared to some others. So if you guys watched through this video, be sure to like, comment, subscribe, do all that stuff because it helps a ton. And you want to connect with myself, go down below. If you want to connect with Noah, go down below. And Noah's moving to Austin soon again, so more content coming with him soon. That's the end of this. See you guys in the next one. Peace.
