The part your high-ticket sales guru didn't warn you about

Dylan Vergara breaks down the brutal reality of high-ticket sales: his Black Friday campaign cost $2.60 per customer but made less than $1 per subscriber, and his income swings wildly, from a $56,250 week with two $15K deals to weeks with zero. He explains why you need serious financial buffers for this work.

Where's Susong?
Uh, he said that his alarm didn't go off.
That's cap, right?
I mean, it's got to be cap. I've known him to wake up at 4 in the morning on some— I've known him to go to sleep at 6 AM too though, so maybe, maybe it's not cap.
It's only the real ones out here this morning.
That's a GoPro, right?
No, it's a DJI. What do you rate it, man?
Uh, honestly, that was— I'd give that like an 8.5 out of 10. That's the first track workout that I finished out here, so no more DNFs.
It's amazing. You don't like Brute Spaces?
I don't dislike Brute Spaces, but my boy Noah Susong missed a track workout because of Brute Spaces. Pre-recorded ones at that, not even the live shit.
They did like the theme pages and shit.
Oh, that boy got a DJI, man. Say something to the camera real quick. All right, peeps, as y'all can see, I'm decked out in the retro retrofit. All right, I got the old school Iowa Central on. If you know, you know. But I got a message for everybody as we head into 2026. There is something in the air. I don't know what it is. It might be the smoke from the fire. That's ash. It might be a little bit of that coffee that you can smell that's brewing. But truly what I think, man, and especially for the people down in Austin, there are some big things coming. So let me tell you, as we head into 2026, if you ain't where you want to be, if you ain't surrounded and in the environment that you want to be, guess what you need to do? You need to get your ass up. You need to sign a lease here in Austin, Texas, and you need to get yourself on a roll because you need the clothes, you need a set, you need to do whatever.
You got to do whatever, man. I don't know if y'all can see this. Check us out, Canva coming in clutch. Stickers on deck. We got 500 of these, maybe 100 of these, about the same of these, one of these. So when people join our community, we're gonna give them one of these, a few of those, a little Yeti cup, which we have more on the way. It's our first time Making stickers, surprisingly. By the way, if you haven't seen my last video, this one on how to make it unreasonable not to land a remote sales job, I'll link it at the end. It's good. We're already on one laptop. What's up with that vibe juice, man?
You need two things in life, right? You need a little bit of vibe juice, and you need serial sales.
Two things. You put yours upside down too.
No, because then I can just simply. I do this, and every day before I get to work and start work, I just remember the Cereal Sales Community, the life-changing. And then I open up my computer, I take a couple sales calls, I make commission, and then I close my computer and bang bang.
What should I do? I'm lost with no clue. Stuck in the crowd. All right, 2 things I'm sharing with you guys right now. I am In the process of making tattoo flash style branding kit for Because of Sales because I'm trying to get some AI thumbnails cranking up. So that's what I'm on right now. Got a Because of Sales podcast a little bit later after some community calls with he's the head of sales at mastermind.com. So Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi might not be head of sales. He might be director. I'll let you guys know. But I do have an announcement to share you guys. I'm gonna keep it real with y'all. You saw us launch a Black Friday deal, posted a whole YouTube video on it, hyped it up on socials, and It kind of flopped and I'm not that mad about it, to be honest. We weren't gonna make that much money. It was gonna be more of a long-term branding thing. We had 3 people end up joining that. So it's interesting. I think we just didn't make a good enough deal. I thought it was a good deal, but we had 24 people join our community in November. At the price point that we charged, that was a record for us. We had 3 people opt into the Black Friday thing. We had a lot of people who were close. With those 3, we kind of switched around the format of the Black Friday deal. Still offered the same prizes, all of that. I ended up letting them vote if they wanted to do it or not. And so we ended up not doing it. Those guys are still in the community. And one of them already has like almost 2 jobs, one if not 2. Really not much sales or no sales experience. The others are working through our process. One of them kind of delayed things. But in addition to that, I am trying to play the monetization game with Because of Sales. Just full transparency. It costs us about $2.60 to get a subscriber through Meta ads, and we make back immediately about less than $1. I have to run the numbers, but I'm trying to race toward making back $2.60 per subscriber averaged out. And once we get there, we are blowing up. So I introduced a low-ticket product. We've sold a few copies of that. I'm trying to work out some affiliate deals. I'm trying a lot of stuff right now. I'm gonna keep you guys updated as we go through this. This is not a bad thumbnail, huh? Just one step at a time, man. This is the video of failures. Told you about our Black Friday thing, ended up not doing it. I'm training for sub-3-hour marathon. I haven't been able to run like 4 days. Earlier this year, went to Japan, did crazy Japan stuff, came back and had chondrochitis. I thought I was having some heart stuff. It was like inflammation of the chest wall, super uncomfortable. Anyways, I think I'm having that again. Flared up by the hard workouts that I'm doing. And so at least now I have an idea of what it could be. It's not that serious, but it feels scary. Mid-work on a Friday, just went to a med clinic to get looked at. No crazy exciting lifestyle stuff this week, really. Just grinding on the businesses, trying to figure out this health stuff. Just got back from the mall to do some Christmas shopping.
Brutal.
Don't go to the mall the Saturday before Christmas. I do have a pretty cool Christmas surprise that I'm stoked to show you guys, but not yet. After Christmas. Anyways, that's a quick update. Haven't filmed all that much this week, but we keep it pushing. Very heavy. You guys want to know what almost $2,500 worth of Yeti cups looks like? It's right here. This could be you. If you stop playing, this could be you, and this could be you. I'll keep this pretty simple. I just wanted to talk about a post that was made in our community, and this applies to anyone whether you're inside this or not. I assume that most of you guys watching this aren't in the community. I'm gonna pop up the post here. Got skunked last week for the first time since starting high-ticket sales. Got a little butthurt but hit the pipeline to motivate the procrastinators to take action. From that effort this week, since Monday, I've collected $56,250 with 2 $15K piffs and still have the rest of the week to hit. Hitting the pipeline you've built and always following up correctly always pays off. Now we are back to the money. So the reason I wanted to talk about this in particular is to just show you the reality of the space. It's every single person that gets into this has a different experience. This is an experience that you might have. You might get into a good offer. David, for example, I think his first month he was just shy of $10K. Longtime sales background, sharp guy. But again, I just want to show you that while we can make insane amounts of money in a short amount of period, it could be tough, dude. It could be $0 for a week. And I think the people that play this game the best, it's not that they expect that, but they're prepared for it. As long as they're staying up with their inputs, They can see it through, they have money put away. I've talked about this before, but the high-ticket game— actually, I did a podcast recently on the Because of Sales channel with my boy Jake. And dude, if you can play this game knowing that there's gonna be sprints and then downtime and prepare for those and be ready for those and don't let those bog you down too much, this game can be freaking awesome. But most people, they don't expect that. And again, I'm not saying you should expect it, but you should be prepared for it. A lot of the other people in this industry that do what I do, they don't really talk about that. They don't talk about the downside. They don't talk about the volatility. I've said this in a bunch of videos, dude. My job is not here to sell you on some opportunity in a way that's not accurate. My job is to meet people who are already looking into the opportunity and want to make it easy, knowing the ups and downs that come with it. And that's how our thing has been so sustainable. I mean, we're 3 and a half years in. I seriously want you to go and find someone else who's been in the position that I'm in for 3 and a half years that's still running a successful business. Our business did a record month last month and does not have a ton of negative press about them or FTC lawsuit or they went anonymous on social media or their whole team hates them and talks shit about them behind their back. It's pretty dang hard to find I'm not here to tell anybody that this is the safest opportunity or the best opportunity, but there are particular reasons why someone like yourself and me, when I jumped into this, are attracted to this high-risk type of sales job. And if you play it right, it can be really good. If you can weather the storm, if you can get connected to the right people, if you can get access to jobs, if you're a genuine competitor and you like to put your skill to the test and you like to compete. against other people, this could be right up your alley. So again, it's not for everyone. It's not for most people. It might not be for you. But if you've decided that it is for you, I would like to hit a little call to action. Go to the first link in the description and join the winning team, man. The community I've been running 3 and a half years. I mean, knock on wood, man.
