This is why we do it, right?

I actually just realized I can tell you guys about this surprise because when this video is posted, the surprise will not be a surprise anymore. For Christmas, I am getting my fiancée a new car. Welcome back to a new YouTube video, you guys. Check this out. You are now part of the team. Look, man, I mean, sales as the vehicle is already a game changer, but if you can land a remote sales job, a good one, and you can do decent, you can basically live whatever life you want to live. Welcome back to a new YouTube video, you guys. Check this out, we are now color grading. Kind of scary, kind of intimidating, a little bit more extra editing work. So in return, I'm going to ask for you guys to subscribe to the channel and like the videos and comment on the videos and tell me what you guys like to see and what you don't like to see, because I want to take this seriously. I want to continue to grow this, especially getting into 2026, and I want to make content that you guys like, and I want to make content that I like making. So part of that, a little bit more visually appealing, hopefully. We're 2 days before Christmas now. Business as usual, just recorded the first podcast with my boy Jake, who is the new co-host in Because of Sales. Him and I will be running the podcast together. It should be a lot more fun, flexible, talking about stuff that you guys wanna hear about. So if you're not subscribed to that, 3rd link in the description, Because of Sales. If you sell something to someone, doesn't matter the industry, We want to help make your job easier and make it a little bit more fun. I have been patiently waiting, getting my car back. I don't know how many of you guys like cars, you're into cars, you appreciate car content. I'm probably going to be making some more of it soon because I do like cars. But I did write an email and I'm going to attach that below. It's going to be the last link in the description. I wrote an email on a 1-year recap of me purchasing an expensive car for the first time in my life. Somewhat of like a collector's car, how much I paid for it, how much it's probably worth now. I had a conversation with one of my guys who knows the Porsche market pretty well. Pretty cool to see if you buy the right car at the right time in the right way, you can actually make money on it. So I also am kind of doing this to bait you into subscribing to my newsletter list. I like sending emails. A lot of times my emails are kind of like the YouTube videos. They're going to help you with the remote sales jobs. They're also going to be a little peek into my life. And honestly, I feel like I can talk a little bit more in detail at length with less editing and production through the email more frequently. And I'm not saying I like it more than YouTube, but I like it a lot. And you should go subscribe. Every week or so, I go through spurts of sending emails, but, you know, usually at least once a week I'm gonna send an email that's gonna help you in life, business, remote sales jobs, tying it back to something personal to me. So go subscribe, or actually go read the email. There's gonna be a subscribe thing that pops up if you're interested, or if Or if you just want to know how much I spent on the car and how much I lost or didn't lose or made on the car, subscribe. Last link in the description. I actually just realized I can tell you guys about this surprise because when this video is posted, the surprise will not be a surprise anymore. And I'm probably going to make a full longer video on this, but for Christmas I am getting my fiancée a new car. It is a nice car. The idea is that it is our family car, something We all like. It's useful, long-lasting, safe. And dude, I have a million things I could say about this. And again, I'll probably do it in another video. One of the better feelings, being able to get something like that— I'm gonna use it for sure— but getting something like that for someone else as a Christmas gift. I've always seen people do this on social media and flex and all that, but like, it's now real. And you guys are all sales reps. A few years ago, I was a sales rep, and I'm still every day involved in the sales process of selling high-ticket products and services. But, you know, to go off the beaten path and chase the online money and build these businesses from scratch that start small and turn big, to materialize into having the necessary funds to buy not only something nice for myself, but something nice for someone that means a lot to me. Super fulfilling, full circle moment. Hopefully one of the many experiences that I can provide like that. And maybe in this video I'm gonna show you the behind the scenes of that. I don't really know yet. We'll see. What's up, team? It's Christmas morning. It's potentially gonna be 80 degrees today. It's just Texas weather, man. We're setting up the surprise. Had to jump through some hoops yesterday. Almost didn't get to hold the surprise, but, uh, we did it, man. I'm not gonna do a whole filmed reaction there. We're gonna go down to San Antonio, see family. Hopefully she likes it. I've never seen I've never seen this before. It's like Christmas morning glow, dude. Fellas, Christmas has come and gone. I'm rocking a little bit of a holiday beard. I don't know if you can even see. A little lazy on the trim up. But I turn on the camera right now to discuss 2 messages that I got, one on Christmas Day, one today. The day after Christmas Day. Kind of similar to the ones that I usually show you guys with the posts, but usually I'm showing you guys awesome posts about people getting remote sales jobs or getting a commission or something like that. These posts are a little bit different. Here's the first one. Hey, just want to say thank you, bro. Changed my entire life. Need I say more? I know it's kind of cryptic, but I'm not going to tell you who this is. To me, someone I've worked with a lot, gotten to know very well, and just short, sweet message like that. Dude, that's why we do it. That's why we do it. A little bit more financial upside incentive here. Message 2: My dad's been needing a computer and really doesn't get himself anything nice ever, so I got him his first ever MacBook. All of this The Raptor, the amazing Christmas I was able to do for everyone, the fat bank account, meeting my mentors in this space, all because of you. Thanks, Chief. What else do I have to say? I'm not going to sit here and tell you I'm the best sales coach. I'm not. I'm far from it. But I've made a lot of money in sales myself. I've helped a lot of people get hired into jobs. Like, if you're not familiar with our interview playlist, boom. Scroll, scroll, scroll. I also built from scratch and sold a sales agency, made myself and clients a lot of money in this niche. And if you're looking for how to handle objections, my YouTube channel is not for you. But if you're looking at how to make a dent in your life in a positive way with a remote sales job, 1099 remote sales job, and use that job to get the life that you want, that's what we focus on. That's what I focus on. I just wanted to share those 2 messages with you guys. Nothing that crazy, but this is why we do it. Bad news. This is not bad news. Got this canvas for Christmas. We're stripped, man. Good thing it's electric and you don't really need the pedals. Confession time. I haven't gone to the gym in like a month and a half. Probably the longest I haven't gone to the gym in since I started going to the gym. If I'm being real. I'm telling you guys as an accountability measure so that I start going to the gym again. I'm thinking 3-day full body split. The reason I'm filming this is because I want you to call yourself out on the thing that you're not doing, you know you should be doing, so that we can both be the best versions of ourselves, because that's what I'm all about. Some lore for you guys. I used to have a table-making company. Not really, I just made some tables and made a brand. And Beyoncé and I went around putting up stickers just like this. This time it's different. Diesel power, 18 wheels to rollin' as I pull it onto the interstate. I've got 13 hours to make my destination and I don't wanna stop to check my weight. There won't be no sleep for me tonight. No, I've gotta be hitting Tulsa by first morning light. Hey Joseph, just wanted to send a voice note so I could elaborate in full detail here. From my perspective, what I would want to see to justify placement into a closer role— well, just to kind of like set the record straight, I don't, I don't do any kind of placement. I'm not really a believer in placement. But what I would like to see in order to get you into a closer role or have you qualify for a closer role is understanding of or experience with a fast-paced sales cycle, maybe one-call close, price point that's going to be in line with some of the stuff that these people are selling, which could be $3K, $5K, $10K, $15K, something in that ballpark. Pretty good volume would be nice to see. Setting is beginner. You don't need any sales experience for that. So Closing, it's like we really do kind of just need to sell the fact that we somewhat know what we're doing. Next one was, is it more documented results, call experience, or specific deal types? Ah yeah, I should have read that one first. All of it, to be honest. It's all of it, man. I think also if you're going into the application pool, you need to play that game versus the sales training game or the sales experience game, because there's a lot of people in this industry already that are just more qualified than you. That's just the reality of it because they're already in it. However, if you can play the game of applications in the way that we do it, I don't know what video you had seen, but a lot of them are about that. So if you can play that game, you will beat out other people who have maybe more industry experience or something like that. But the answer is all of it. We'd love to see results. We'd love to see call experience. We'd love to see deal types. I came from roofing sales, so it's kind of a little blue-collar sales role as well. I went straight into closing. And I had to sell the fact that I knew how to close an online coaching package versus a roof that was like $10K, $20K, $30K plus. So it's possible. I did it in 2022. And yeah, if you have any more questions, dude, shoot them over. By my restless soul. All right, so last week I posted on Instagram, I think, but we had a community member come into our live call schedule and host a masterclass on everything that he's done to be successful. He went from roofing sales like myself to remote closer. I think he made $15K in his first month. Shout out Josh. We have an interview right here. I'll actually link that interview at the end of this one so you can check it out. But that reminded me, we used to have a lot of guests and stuff into our community. to speak to community members and as like exclusive assets for the community people. And so that was cool. People really liked that. I think we're going to start doing that again. I have one guy who I think he's a sales manager for Justin Waller or something, and they do somewhere near $700,000, $800,000 a month, and he's down to come in and speak to the community guys. So we're going to do that. Last thing for this video, I have an idea of what it's going to be titled. I'm literally after Filming this clip, I'm gonna go inside, edit, post this everywhere. Something along the lines of like, this is why we do it, right? In this video, you see me get my fiancée a new car. You see some cool messages that I get from community guys that their words, not mine, I changed their lives. And I mean, buying material things is cool, like for for myself or for other people. And when I was younger, that was like. The North Star, not because I was so materialistic, but like in my mind, actually, I was not materialistic. But in my mind, I was like, that is the— that is a display of success. Like, how else do you know you've made it unless you can buy things that people who've made it buy? Like, that means you've made it, right? Well, that's not the case. And so as I get older and more successful, I guess the things like those couple of messages that I showed you, honestly, feel a lot cooler than buying a car. You kind of get desensitized to the material things. And it's cool to check the box and say you've been there and done that. But dude, it's, it's the impact, like having such a profound effect on people's lives that they can move across the country to recreate their life and not worry about money and open up a new reality for them that lets them work wherever they want. Look, man, I mean, sales as Just the vehicle is already a game changer. But if you can land a remote sales job, a good one, and you can do decent, you can basically live whatever life you want to live. To round this out, this is why we do it. We do it— yeah, we like nice things. That's fine. We like helping other people get nice things too. And we like helping other people take care of their people. And live a life that they truly enjoy, that gives them the freedoms to do what they want to pursue outside of sales. So I told you guys this before, but a mission of mine is to get our community member interview playlist to 100. Most of those interviews are $10K per month plus interviews. I think as of recording this, we're at 54. I have a 55th pending booking right now, but it's basically our Guy, I think I told you about him, Valentim from Portugal. Literally young, early 20s, no sales experience, engineering degree from the Air Force in Portugal. Hit his first $10K month in November. We're still trying to figure out scheduling on that, but that'll be 55. And we have 45 more interviews to film, and we're just going to keep putting one foot in front of the other and helping you guys get the lives that you want. With remote sales jobs. So if you guys support the channel and if you support the color grading— I'm actually going to take it off and then put it back on so you can have an appreciation for this like I do, given that it's going to take some work. But if you support that and you like this channel, you like what we do, like the video, comment on the video, subscribe to the channel, and we'll see you next week. 2 videos a week, every week. See you there.
