In this two‑minute guided hypnosis, the speaker leads listeners through deep breathing, progressive relaxation, and a vivid visualization where the listener meets their 8‑year‑old and 80‑year‑old selves. The three selves hold a “strategy session” to discuss the listener’s current feelings about the corporate rat race, offering perspectives from youth and old age. After the imagined dialogue, the listener is gently awakened, encouraged to breathe in positive energy and exhale stress, and left with at least one insight from each of the younger and older selves to help them take a next step toward clarity about their life direction.

You're stuck in the corporate rat race and you wonder when you're going to get out. How do I know that? I'm a hypnotist, and in these next 2 minutes, I will hypnotize you to at least find some clarity on this thing that's sort of been in the back of your mind, but you haven't fully paid attention to it until now. So I'd like you to look up at my finger right here. Take a very deep breath in. That's right. And when you're ready, take a very, very deep breath out. That's right, just like that. Take another deep breath in. Inhale. And when you're ready, take a massive deep breath out. Beautiful, beautiful. Take one last deep breath in. And as you take this last deep breath out, just let your eyes flutter and start to close and drift, drift, drift to sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep. Relaxing your entire body, putting the phone down, relaxing your head all the way to your toes, relaxing every single part of your body to the point where you can just let your mind relax as the body relaxes, the mind and the body becoming one. Beautiful. Moving closer and closer and closer together. That's right. Activating that subconscious part of your imagination, activating everything, every single imaginative muscle. And as you enter a room, as you enter a room right now, I want you to imagine there's a door on one side and a door on another side, and you are in the middle. Now imagine that your 8-year-old self walks in the door You see your 8-year-old self, you notice the clothes they're wearing, you notice what they look like. Are they wearing glasses maybe? What is their reaction towards seeing you in the state you are in right now, the state of life you are in right now? What is the conversation you guys are having? What are you telling your 8-year-old self? Have an honest conversation with them. Really, really truly imagine what it's like talking to them and getting to know them. And now at the other end of the room, Opens the door to your 80-year-old self. Your 80-year-old self comes right in the room. Imagine what they're wearing. Imagine what their vibe is. Imagine what they're looking like. Imagine what their reaction is to not only seeing you, but your 8-year-old self as well. And so now it's this triage of the 3 of you all talking, talking, talking together. And it's almost as if you guys are having this, like, strategy session. All 3 of you together. You guys are figuring out what your situation is now in life. What your thoughts are on the corporate rat race. You're asking what your 8-year-old self would do. You're asking what your 80-year-old self would do. All 3 of you are in this session together, and they're telling you all these pieces of advice, some of which you agree with, some of which you don't agree with. But at the end of the day, imagine the meeting comes to a close, and it's as if you float out of the room with all the learnings that you have from your 8 and your 80-year-old self. I'm gonna count from 1 to 3, and you're gonna come wide awake. 1, 2, 3. Wide awake, my friend. Take a very deep breath in, taking all the good positive energy. Breathe out all the negative energy and stress. Leave you feel so good, so wonderful, like you're ready to at least take one next step with this newly added clarity. I can't answer the question for you, what you want to do about your life, but you at least have one insight from your 8-year-old self and one insight from your 80-year-old self.
