Dr. Ed Tori records a short video advising creators (authors, speakers, coaches) to use walking/exercise to perform deep work: disconnect from screens, capture ideas analog-first (index cards while walking), then return to screens to refine ideas with others or AI. He emphasizes exercise-induced clarity and the workflow "full analog first, then screens."

I'm outside doing some deep work. While I'm preparing for an upcoming event, I happen to be training some authors, speakers, and coaches on how to capture their intellectual property and use it in workshops and creating card decks. And as I prepare for that, there's a lot of work that needs to be done. There's a lot of thought, a lot of clarity that's needed. And one of the best ways to do that is to tether it with exercise. When you're walking outside, your heart is pumping, the blood is flowing, ideas are flowing, insight is flowing, and that's often the best time to capture it. So one of the best ways to do deep work is simply to disconnect, to go full analog. I happen to be working on a card deck that I'm creating, and I'm using index cards as I walk. And each time I. I flip over a card, I'm writing notes as it pertains to that particular section. And then I go back to the screens. I. Then I go back maybe to refine the idea with other people or with AI or with. With my other notes and things like that. But first you do the deep work. First you get the clarity. Get outside, get into nature, just go for a walk.
