An Amazon FBA seller explains why he chose e-commerce: the freedom to spend an unstructured afternoon with his daughter in LA without a nine-to-five job. He builds real brands, not quick money schemes, and values owning his time and location.
Currently 1 p.m. here in L.A., and I'm with my daughter.
Son tijeras.
Sí. Me das un plato? Me haces uno? And instead of being stuck in traffic or you know being at a nine-to-five job, there's nothing wrong with that, right? Sometimes I take this life for granted because I currently sell products and brands online. Obviously do e-commerce, and some people might think it's like a gimmick or a get rich quick type of scheme. But I actually build brands, right? Like this is actually something real. And it doesn't get much realer than this, right? Having the time, the location, the money freedom to be able to just chill with my daughter on a random Wednesday at 1 PM and not have to feel bad about it, or like me having to stress out about making money. That's the luxury about not just e-commerce, right, but just owning your own business in general. Because once you get to this point in time, you're really able to kind of dictate what your day-to-day life looks like.
