So about 3 years ago, I bought a business on Empire Flippers that was primarily Amazon FBA, and I bought it for $190,000, and it was generating around $6,000 per month in profit. Well, now today, fast forward 3 years later, that same business is now listed on Empire Flippers for $1.9 million and is generating right around $50,000 of profit per month. So how exactly did I do it? Well, this is a deep dive, and this is primarily just Amazon FBA and how to scale your business efficiently. Number 1, the reason why I bought this business is because I saw a lot of inefficiencies. The number 1 thing that I saw was that they were running out of ad budget basically midday. So for most of the day, they were missing out on so many sales just because they weren't managing their Amazon PPC. Number 2, because they weren't managing their Amazon PPC, it was very underdeveloped, meaning I can go in there and run different types of ad strategies, right? Exact, phrase, broad, sponsored brands, sponsored displays. So there was so much meat left on the bones just with advertising itself. And now fast forward to today, I spend right around $90,000 per month in just advertising this actual business, right? It takes money to make more money. Number 2, we renegotiated a lot of these actual, uh, contracts that we have with the suppliers. This particular seller of this business would airship a lot of their inventory. When you airship a lot of your inventory, you're paying exorbitant amounts of fees associated with that, right? So we went ahead and ordered way more inventory send it all through sea shipping, and we're able to go ahead and save on the cost drastically. Okay, and then number 3, how we expanded, how we were able to actually scale out the actual business. So the first thing that we did was try to basically throw spaghetti at the wall, basically coming out with so many different types of products within the same niche. And we slowly started— or we started realizing very quickly that this was not the right strategy to go ahead and take. Instead of focusing on launching brand new products, What we did was focus on launching products that were already winning, right? So instead of just coming out with one colorway, we came out with multiple colorways. Instead of going ahead and coming out with one weight, we came out with different types of weights of the same exact product. And that really accelerated our growth very, very quickly. And there's obviously other strategies behind Amazon that we went ahead and did— bestseller ranking, how to go ahead and use promotions, how to do deals. And other forms of advertising. But that's why you follow this page, because if you are running an Amazon FBA business currently right now and you're stuck looking how to scale and break through to the next tier, go ahead and make sure you follow this YouTube channel, TikTok, Instagram reel, wherever you are watching this, because I always come out with golden nuggets like this.
