A founder bought an Amazon business six days ago that makes $3,000 to $7,000 monthly. It has a trademark covering the entire product category and a design patent, which let him remove competitors. With just $98 in ad spend, it's already profitable and growing organically.

So this is kind of nuts. I purchased this business right up here around 6 days ago. And yesterday we had a very, very good day. A little context behind this actual business. When I purchased it, trailing 12-month was making just shy of $7,000 per month in profit. But October, November, December, they barely made $3,000 per month. So they were trying to go ahead and get rid of this actual business very, very quickly. And the craziest thing about this actual product is the IP behind it. So I never took intellectual property serious whatsoever. And this particular brand has a trademark that is basically the category of the actual business, right? The category of the actual business. And number 2 is they have a design patent on this actual product. So why are these 2 things important? Number one, people that try and have our brand name on their title, their bullet points, any secondary images, I can just reach out to Amazon and they'll take their listing down. Number 2, this product is very cheap to make, but because of the design patent on it, anybody that tries to copy us, same thing, reach out to Amazon and they take down the listing. So this is going to be a great business that I went ahead and acquired. You can see that just based on $98 of ad spend, you can go ahead and see there my TACoS is very, very low. Organic sales are there as well. I'm just very, very hyped up.
