An Amazon FBA seller used his sourcing knowledge to buy furniture directly from Chinese manufacturers instead of retailers like Restoration Hardware. A full home set that would cost $60-70k retail cost him about $10k.
One of the low-key perks of doing private label on Amazon FBA is you understand the system as far as logistics and manufacturing. So instead of going to Restoration Hardware, I went straight to the source in China. So dining room table, chairs from a manufacturer in China that has a Restoration Hardware dupe. Same thing with like these loveseats right over there. Same thing with this coffee table, the cloud couches. And even outdoor furniture. Because I kid you not, this outdoor furniture right over here at Restoration Hardware, especially over there as well, would cost you more than $30,000 to $40,000. And that's not even including the inside because that's teak wood, right? But all of this that I just showed you is just a small percentage. Like, my bedroom's also, also, uh, from China as well. Would have cost me well over like $60,000, $70,000, and everything I just showed you cost me right around $10,000 total.
