Apple lost $500 billion in market value in two days after tariff announcements. Amazon FBA sellers sourcing from China face the biggest hit, but U.S. manufacturers will struggle too since they buy raw materials globally. April 9 is the deadline before freight costs spike dramatically.

Anybody that's downplaying these tariffs, um, is lying to themselves, lying to anybody else, because you don't see a company like Apple that is worth more than $3 trillion lose upwards of $500 billion in market cap in just 2 days, right? Half a trillion dollars being lost by Apple in just 2 days because of these tariff news. And that doesn't account for all the other companies, right? Amazon, even something like Facebook. That doesn't go ahead and produce any products, but they rely solely on advertising. And people that advertise on Facebook usually are people that are trying to advertise their products and they're getting impacted. And I think the people obviously getting impacted the most are entrepreneurs, right? People like myself that sell millions of dollars on Amazon, have multiple brands and rely on going ahead and producing our products in China. The thing is that the simple answer that everybody always says, like, okay, start manufacturing your products here in the United States. And people don't understand that even if you produce your products here in the United States, most of the time these US-based companies are getting and sourcing raw material from all over the world. Like, unless you only have an agriculture type of product, you're going to be impacted by these tariffs one way or another because your manufacturer is going to be going ahead and sourcing those raw materials and they're obviously getting impacted by these tariffs. I do think that this is something where we have to kind of wait and see what's actually going to stick after April 9th, because that's going to be basically like our D-Day, right? Like what ends up happening that day. So if you have anything as far as freight is concerned already on a boat, you're not impacted. But anything after April 9th, it's going to be a crazy banana days. There's already a few things that we can strategize in order not to get impacted the most. But the silver lining here is that everyone is being impacted. So it's not like we're getting singled out as Amazon FBA sellers. Like everybody that produces products are basically getting impacted by this. And in the grand scheme of things, it's gonna have a huge ripple effect if things don't change in the short term. But there's so much uncertainty right now. But we all remember what happened with COVID We overcame COVID. It's another thing, right? We expected tariffs to come. We just didn't expect it to be this drastic. But I think it's gonna go ahead and just shake out people that, you know, one, were brand new to selling on Amazon or going ahead and producing their product, which is unfortunate. But at the end of the day, you know, business is business.
