MODULE 1: HOW TO TURN YOUR SKILLS INTO AN OFFER

Walk through exercises to identify your skills, filter them by what you love and what solves real problems, then turn one into a simple offer. The Love Leverage test combines skills you enjoy with skills others will pay for.
In today's training, I'm going to be talking you through how to uncover the hidden marketable skills that you already have and how to start mapping them out into tangible offers. Most women sit on gold mines of experience and don't even know it. You've got so many years of skills and you don't see it as special. But people are out there right now wishing they had what you know. And today I'm going to help you pull together that genius. So start pulling it out and how to start turning it into something sellable. So today we're going to uncover your unique skill set, how you can spot the gold mines in your skills and how we're going to start taking those and mapping them out into an offer. Skills are often invisible to the person that has them. You're naturally great at solving conflicts, organizing chaos, making an incredible spreadsheet, turning ideas into a presentation, coaching friends through hard times, all the things that people pay for. And often we have these voices and these limiting beliefs in our heads that say everyone can do this and they can't, or I'm not certified and you don't need a degree to teach what you know from experience. And you may even be saying, I'm not an expert yet. You only need to be a few steps ahead of the person or company or individual or business that you are helping. So whether you are going to be looking at starting a consulting business, a a coaching business or a freelancing business, this still applies for you. So first of all, I want to start with a bit of a brain dump. So go ahead and pause this video after this section and start with this. So I want you to write down everything you know how to do well. These are the things people always ask for your help with. The skills from every job you've ever had, not just your current one. Life skills as well. Parenting, organization, self care routines, travel, planning, all of the things that you know. I want you to think about, if my best friend had to brag about me, what would she say that I'm amazing at? So now I want you to go ahead and pause me and write all of that down. Now if you need a little bit of help, there are three main type of monetizable skills that we can look at. So the first one are the hard skills. So they are HR systems, email marketing, operations, graphic design, project management, data analysis. We then have the soft skills which is going to be the likes of coaching your team, managing hard conversations, mediating conflicts, leading meetings, motivating others, and then the final piece is going to be the life skills. So this is going to be around navigating grief, healing, trauma, parenting, solo, getting sober, burnout, recovery, moving across the world, or rebuilding your life from scratch. So once you've had a chance to look at these, we then want to start thinking about the outcome filter. So we want to circle the skills that you have just jotted down that create change for someone else. So I want you to ask yourself, does this save someone time, stress and money? Does it help someone or a business or an individual reach their goal faster? Now that's a key one. And then the final one is, does it solve a problem that people actually complain about? What we then want to be thinking about is the Love Leverage test. And this is something that I absolutely love. So first from what's left of that list, I want you to highlight the skills that you enjoy using. What are the things you could talk about for hours? And then I want you to think about what are the things you can teach, guide or do for someone else. This is the sweet spot. So it's the market demand and the personal energy and that's going to start helping you pull out. What are these skills? Now you could be absolutely incredible at something but you would hate doing it. We therefore don't want to say, start a business in a niche or doing something that you don't absolutely love. So now I want to think about is turning this into a one liner. So I help whoever this is do or get the result in said time frame using our skill set. So I help Busy mums plan one month of healthy dinners in 60 minutes using my meal prep system. I help new managers build confident communication skills. Engagement in eight weeks. I help overwhelmed entrepreneurs organize their back end in their business and implement new strategies in just three months. See, so you can see what we're doing is who we help and what the result is. Using the skills that you have. I really want you to know that you already have more skills than you think. Skills become sellable when they solve a problem and a simple one liner is all you need to start. So what I want you to think about when you're sitting down over the next few days around turning your ideas into an offer, turning your skills into an offer is. Do I feel excited by this? Yes, I may be good at something, but do I actually feel excited and lit up by this? See you in the next training.
