MODULE 2: HOW TO CREATE AN MVP

Instructional presentation explaining what an MVP (minimum viable product) is and why to use it. Describes the three core elements—problem–solution fit, bare-minimum delivery, and real-world testing—gives concrete small-scale examples (beta group, VIP day, one-off consulting), and highlights benefits (speed, clarity, early cash flow, proof/testimonials) and the link from an MVP to a higher-ticket offer.
Welcome back. Today we're going to be talking about creating an mvp. An MVP is a minimum viable product and it's the simplest, fastest version of your offer or product that delivers a real result to your ideal client. Allowing you to really test your idea before you invest loads of time, money or energy fully building it out. Think of it like this. It's not your forever product, it's a starter version that provides people what you want when you're selling. So the goal of an MVP is to validate that people will pay for your ideas, learn what works and what doesn't work through real feedback, save time and avoid building something that no one actually needs or wants to buy. And you can start making real Money in your 9 to 5 while testing out and refining your offer. So here are the key elements of an mvp. There are three main parts of it. The problem solution fit, the bare minimum delivery and the real world test. So number one is the problem solution fit. So what we want to think about is it solves one clear problem for one specific person. Instead of I help people with fitness, it's I help busy moms lose five pounds in four weeks without hours in the gym. The bare minimum delivery is the most stripped back version and fastest way to create it so to give it to people. So an example could be a three session coaching package delivered on Zoom instead of a 12 week course with 20 modules and a fancy portal. The final piece is the real world test. So we want to get it in front of actual potential clients as soon as possible. We are going to sell it first and build it as we go and then improve it for round two. So let me give you some examples. A beta program for a coaching business could be a small group program offered at a lower price for a shorter time period. It could be a specific VIP day. If you are a project manager and a company wants to hire you as a project manager, you could offer a half day or a VIP day and go in and highlight all of the things and all of the gaps that they have. You can then go in later and and sell your higher ticket offer where there is a training for you later. You could also host a one off consulting session so you can offer immediate help to those that really need it, whether that's a business, whether that's an individual. So what we want to be thinking about is a small version. And the reason that this works so well is firstly because of speed. You can test an idea in weeks instead of waiting for months. You don't need a lot of backend Setup and it's a great way to start selling, making money and seeing what you enjoy and what you don't enjoy. That moves me on to the clarity piece. You can learn what you actually want to do and you can learn what clients actually want. You can start getting some cash flow so you can make money before you've built anything complicated while you're still in your 9 to 5. And you're also going to start getting proof. So once you have real results and real testimonials, you can confidently start scaling your bigger offer. Now, your MVP doesn't have to be perfect, beautiful or automated. What makes an MVP so strong and good is it has to deliver fast enough results to prove that your idea works. So what we want to be thinking about is does this actually deliver what I need this to deliver or are the results taking too long? So for example, if you are going to help overhaul someone's whole business idea, someone's whole strategy, you're going to freelance for someone as an mvp, it's going to be hard to do that whole offer. So what we want to be thinking about is what is a tiny piece of that you can do. So if someone wants you to come in and you know that they need someone to audit their whole back end, their whole operation system, what you can actually do is you can say I will review the tools that you are using and then I will make suggestions about what you can do in the future. And therefore you can then sell them into your high ticket offer, which is me coming into your business for three months to do that. So your MVP needs to link to your higher ticket offer. This is going to start making more sense when you know what your higher ticket offer is. But for now, what we want to be thinking about and I'm going to share some ideas below around how you can start creating your MVP and what that could look like for you. But what we want to be thinking for now, and this is the key, key things, is there a problem, solution fit, how do you do a bare minimum delivery and can we do a real world test? I'll see you in the next training.
