If you find that your heels are always coming up off the ground during squats, try these things out. They might help ya. You first want to make sure you are breaking at your hips first. You do not just want to think about going straight down. You want to think about somebody's either karate chopping your hips or somebody's behind you. They have a rope tied around your hips and they are pulling that rope back to start because that will put a little bit more weight on your heels and not let them come off the ground. Number 2, you can get your feet a little bit wider. wider, which is going to help you sit back into your heels a bit more. Number 3, do not try to keep your chest so upright. You can have a little bit of a lean forward in your squat. And number 4, if you have to elevate your heels to either some ramps or like a 5 or 10-pound plate, that's okay as well. Hope it helped.
