Welcome to another Technology Tuesday. Today I'm answering a question from one of my YouTube viewers— love you guys— Sahil, who wrote in to say, "Is there a digital scanner within the Evernote app? I use that and it works brilliantly." So this is a great question. I'm gonna quickly show you how I scan receipts into my Evernote using my phone. So step 1 is put the receipt on a flat surface. Next, I'll load my Evernote app. You click on the new note. Go to camera. I try to fill the receipt so it takes up the whole screen in my phone. Let it focus. Take a picture, and you're done. You could call it whatever you want. Receipt— oh, oh, my spell check. I'll call it the ceiling. Good, okay. Put it whatever folder or whatever notebook you want. Ideas, fine. Done. And we're done. So now the picture's in my notebook. I can search for it using the full-text search. I can browse for it by just looking into notebook, and that's how I add all my receipts to my Evernote using my phone.
