So they say that this was the inspiration for Walt Disney to make Disneyland. Maybe I should be extra nice to her today. Hurry up and finish the food! Hi, I'm a turtle. Fall is officially here. What's up, Believe Nation? Happy day 7 here on board the boat. We are heading for Copenhagen today, Denmark. Nina had a great sleep. She slept like 10 hours last night. Nina passed out. She's feeling very full too. She says she's only gonna have coffee for breakfast. I don't buy that. I don't buy that, but we'll see what happens. We're gonna go eat and then get ready and get off the boat, see some Denmark. Woo! Nina's out getting us some coffee, but I feel bad for her that she's so full that she doesn't want to eat anything. Maybe I should be extra nice to her today. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments. All right, this is round 1 for me. Nina just got hot water, true to her word. Well, well, well. What do we have here? Oh, it's a plate full of food. Actually, that's not that bad. That's pretty healthy too. You don't want to have an angry wife. I do not want to have an angry wife, that is for sure. Toast, mushrooms, vegetables, coffee. All right, bon appétit. Round 2, Froot Loops and peach yogurt. Nina's still finishing up her round 1. Alright, it's time to get off the boat! So we made it on another hop-on hop-off bus, but we're not gonna stay as long this time. Nina's not gonna pass out. Haha. So first stop, we're looking for a very famous restaurant. It's been around for 100 years, something like that, or more, 200 years, I don't know. They make the famous Danish sandwiches, smørrebrød, or I forget how you pronounce it. Nina likes to try new food all the time, so we're gonna find it for her and get started. It's just past It's noon, so good time to eat some lunch, and hopefully we find the place soon. Alright, we found it. Restaurant Schoenemann, since 1877. I said 100 years, right? 200 years? They're inside, okay, nobody's just sitting outside. Alright, we found it. Well, sad news. Nina's getting her thing on. They do, uh, they're fully booked until 3:30, so we couldn't make it happen for Nina. She's sad. No, it's okay, it's okay. We're gonna go find some food somewhere else. I have backup plans though. That's what good planning does. Too bad, they're famous. But you know what? Kind of smelled in there. It's hot in there. It was really hot in there too. It actually smelled pretty good in there, but it was really hot and they only had dark beer, so let's find a better place. Yeah. Look what we found. What do you think, Nina? You feeling it? Nina's feeling it. They have the pumpkin spice latte, which I'm gonna do. I and they have a pecan caramel latte that Nina's gonna do. So excited to try. Fall is officially here. Mmm. Nice. This is the pumpkin spice latte. Nina loves the Starbucks mug. I know. How come? It's so big. Nina just wants huge mugs. Yeah, I like huge mugs. I like huge glass— wine glasses. I like big wine glasses. So in Copenhagen, they're famous for their smørrebrød, open-faced sandwiches. The most famous one is the smoked salmon. I hate smoked salmon, but we're going to get one for Nina so she can give it a shot. Oh, look at that meatball! Holy cow, that's a crazy meatball. Here's our lunch. Nina's gonna try the beer. Oh wow! This is what we came for, Nina. The s'mores broth smoked salmon. How is it? Decent? Alright, try Try the meatball. Try this. It's a crazy meatball. That's just bread. That's just bread. That's meat. Oh, that's the meat? Yeah. Oh, what's this thing on top? Meat too. It's a meatball sliced into a slice. Oh, I get it now. I get it now. Okay. I understand. Mmm. It's different. Good. But you expect it to be hot. It's meatball. Oh, it's cold. That's fine. The Danish open-faced sandwiches and beer. Yeah, yummy. Alright, that was a crazy filling lunch. How you feeling? Good. I am feeling full. That beer was especially filling. We are going to work our way through the tourist shopping area and head to Tivoli Gardens, which has 400,000 different flowers. And I think Nina's gonna enjoy it. I hope Nina's gonna enjoy it. Nina loves nature. Nina loves all things nature. She loves animals. She loves— well, dogs are animals. She loves watching people's vegetable gardens grow. She loves looking at flowers. And so hopefully she enjoys, fingers crossed, the Tivoli Gardens. Simply, we made it! Hey Nina, you're extra short. I am too. So they say that this was the inspiration for Walt Disney to make Disneyland. You can see there's, uh, like Taj Mahal, Mount Everest behind. We got crazy rides back there, restaurants, flowers, gardens. You can see how this could be an inspiration for Disney. I like it. Good times. It's interesting. Just kind of like Disney, there's different lands. We're in China right now. There's different themes, there's different rides, different stores. It's like a little mini Disney, but in Denmark. If it wasn't raining, we'd probably go on some of these things. It's cool. Just goes to show you can get inspiration from anywhere. Howard Schultz got the idea for Starbucks from going to cafes in Italy. He said, "We need this in North America." You know, Disney came here and said, "I need to make something like this." in California. So when you guys are going away, you might get inspired. Bring something back. Put your own stamp on it. But you can get inspiration from anywhere. I love it. Alright, the rain continues and we continue forward. Next stop, we're gonna try to catch our hop-on hop-off bus and then head to— where are we heading to? Oh, the market where they have legendary hot dogs. Yeah, Nina's hungry, so we're gonna get her a hot dog, and then if we still have time, we're gonna climb the church stairs, uh, that gives you a good view of the city. So super catch our bus. Alright, we made an executive decision, change of plans. The hop-on hop-off bus stops at 5 o'clock and it is already 4:40. The last bus is at 5 o'clock. Yeah, the last bus is at 5 o'clock. It's already 4:40, so if we go to the hot dog place and the church and eat, we're going to miss our bus and we have to walk in the rain all the way back to the to the cruise port, which is not in the city. So we want to get warm. I just don't want to get wet. Nina doesn't want to get wet. It's important to make Nina happy. So we're going to take the bus back to the terminal. Maybe see the Little Mermaid statue. We could walk a little bit. Take the bus to the Little Mermaid statue. This is Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid. They made the movie about it. I like that movie. It's a good movie. You watch Little Mermaid? You didn't watch it? Les Poissons, les poissons. Lake Poisson. How I love Lake Poisson. That's a good movie. Go to Le Murray and then walk back to the boat, get on board, get dry, change my socks. I gotta change my socks. How are your socks? Good. Socks are good? My feet are soaked. Five-toe shoes, awesome to travel with except when it's raining. That's it. Here it is. The Little Mermaid. That's the statue everybody wants to come and see. That was awesome. So we hopped off, saw The Little Mermaid. It's basically right by the bus stop, and then the bus is still here. We hop back on. Next stop is the cruise ship. Yeah, worked out well. We made it back on the boat. Very exciting. Nina, how you feeling? It's better than staying in the rain. Nina likes being inside. Both of our feet are soaked and frozen, so it's good to be back on. We're gonna head back to the cabin. I have to record some videos for you guys. I can't go through here. And Nina's going to, uh, get some food. What are you gonna do? I'm gonna get comfortable. Get comfortable. First priority is get Nina comfortable. I like that. This is gonna be the background that I use for the video. Pretty good! Port of Denmark, Copenhagen, for the Believe videos. I'm excited. Alright, successfully filmed. It was good. We are hungry. We're gonna get some food. Nina's very hungry. Okay, dinner's done. Nina is stuffed. Stuffed? Sure. No? Yeah. We actually skipped the dessert today so that we can go up to the buffet and get one dessert instead of our usual dinner dessert and then buffet dessert. I'm hoping for— I am hoping for some amazing cobbler, something that I could put some ice cream and caramel sauce on. And Nina's hoping for hot water. Hot water. I'm cold. Something warm. Nina wants some drinks, alcohol. Let's see what we can find. Okay, moment of truth. Time to see the dessert. Better be good. This is it. Oh, they have something. They have it. Peach and blueberry cobbler. Almost gone. It doesn't matter. Almost is a key word. Tons of caramel. Oh yeah, baby. And there it is. The perfect dessert. Oh, it's gonna taste good. Ready? Look, look, look. Oh yeah, huh? Yummy. What'd you get? Beef and barley soup. Nice. Okay, back to the room. Oh wait, how about your drink? Right now or after? Now. Okay, now give Nina her drink now. Okay, we're back. I'm gonna enjoy the ice cream. Do some work on the book. And towel animal turtle! I've never seen a turtle before. Look at that. Look at this guy. Hi, I'm a turtle. Nina, you should learn how to make these. And then every day when I come home from work, there's a turtle on my bed. Every day I come home from work, there's a turtle on my bed. Okay? Alright, let's relax. Alright, finished the— that was a lot of food. I had to down it because Nina noticed in the calendar that there's Latin dancing for 1 hour that we missed half of already. So like, "Hurry up and finish the food!" So I hustled to down that. I feel kind of gross, but Nina is wearing heels. So she's surprisingly tall, as you can tell in this video right now. Yeah, right. Let's go find Bliss. Nope, this way. So we can get our Latin dancing on. Yeah! We've danced a couple songs already. Nina's taking a break with the drink of the day. She doesn't know what's coming. She just expects it to be good. Expect good things to happen to you, and they just might. Nina's getting another drink. What is it this time? Margarita. Margarita. What kind? I don't know. Wait, why are we cheersing? Wait, that's not mine. Am I having one? Have a sip. Have a sip. Have a sip? I thought you're having two. There you go. Nina gets two margaritas. Nina made a surprise trip. Well, not surprise. You told me you're going, but she made a trip to get food. It is 9:20 at night and we've got— what are you eating? What is that? Noodles. Noodles and chicken and curry chicken. Curry chicken and pizza. Holy cow, look at all this. You don't have to finish it all. Spring rolls, pizza, and cookies. All right. And this. Oh, chili. Yeah. Alright. Something that's good. Alright. And I'm working on my book. So the book is pretty much finished. Just have to figure out some of the details like acknowledgements, dedications. Do I want to do all that? You know, do I want to have a table of contents? All those kind of minor things that go along with the book but are potentially important. But not a ton of work putting it together. And the last step that I'm working through right now is proofreading! Yeah! Typos, spelling mistakes. Mistakes, grammar errors, all that fun stuff. So tomorrow's a day at sea. I might be able to get through the whole thing. We'll see. It's the goal. Anyway, I have some videos to record tomorrow for the channel and, uh, gonna spend some time spell checking, proofreading. But I think by the time I get home with the flight and an extra day at sea, this should be pretty much done. Woo! Woo! Right? It's exciting! I'm excited. I'm very excited. So it's just past midnight. Danina is passed out on the bed. I have been working on the book for you guys. Yes, even in the bathroom, working on the book. But I'm excited. Thank you guys again for joining me for another edition. Hope you had an amazing weekend. I believe in you. I hope you continue to believe in yourself, in whatever your One word is much love. A sí, sí.
