I met this boy, he's got a biz. He said, wanna buy your stuff, babe? Despite your pitch, I told him this ain't really working. It's mistake on mistake. Called my mentor, burned out and feeling all fake. Then I clients like the ones that return. And I knew that I could help him, it was money well earned. So I gave him my time for 2 or 3 nights, then I gave it my all, 'cause extra mile is right. He went away 4 months with a big smile on his face, and then he happily referred me to a friend. So I went and copied this again and again. Great value, great client, and a helping hand. Celebrate a triumph over the little man. —on my dreams. I don't even know what fame is. Now little man throws obstacles on the road. I don't even know what fame is.
On my office door, Ink Magazine, I don't know what for. They say that they love me, and recognizing EC, trust and respect is what we do this for. I never intended fame like this, but it happens when the value you give is high. I paid my ticket in, you bet. Share my best work every day nonetheless, of course. It's not something to tag along. Taste commitment, pedal to the floor. Can't lift your heart, it's uneven with my glasses. But if you never stand up, then you're just like the masses. Hope this song inspires you to be who you wanna. I hope it's not too little, too late, if I'm honest. And all this time, God knows I'm singing.
I don't have an audience, and life can be hard. Believe in my dreams, I don't even know what they are.
