That's really good. You see? Believe Nation, take notes, okay?
Turns out it was a good idea to come here.
This is the wildest creature of all right here. So let's go, go, go! What's up, Believe Nation? Happy day 2 of our Montreal adventure. I just woke up and I'm taking the Timo out before we go off for our adventurous day. Look who joined me! It's Nina. Look who else it is, it's Hayden. You guys ready to start the day?
Yeah!
Yeah, we're gonna go get a different bagel, different place than last time.
It was really bad.
The chocolate bagel had fruit candy in it. Who puts fruit candy with the chocolate bagel? They tried to be creative. No, it's just nasty.
Yucky.
Ah, fruit candy. Fruit candy. If I had my own country, fruit candy would be against the law.
Same.
We're gonna hit up a farmer's market. Big market in Montreal, then we're going to hit up the other bagel place that is hopefully better, and then explore some more. So let's go! Okay, first stop is Tim Hortons. Nina wanted some coffee, but it's raining, so we're hustling. Hayden wants some water. Nina wants some coffee.
No!
And it's raining, so let's go, go, go! Hayden got a hot chocolate and— hot!
Very hot.
Ooh! Very hot but really good. We got our drinks. Cheers! Cheers! Hayden's happy. Next up, the market. Market Jean something. Popular market here in Quebec. And we'll see. We'll see what they have. Maybe some food. Maybe some crafts. We're going to explore. Marché Jean Talon. Usually this is a big outdoor thing too, but since it's cold, so we'll just do the indoor part. Nina likes trying new things, especially if there's food that's attached to it. So, right, Nina? What? Yeah, you look like a big snowman from behind. You want some soup? Take it home, have some tonight?
Yeah?
You're gonna get some?
Maybe, I don't know.
Let's walk around. This is lentils, carrots with potato. Potaji carrots. Carrots at least. I don't know what potaji is. Vegetables. Lentils.
Let's walk around.
We'll come back?
Okay.
We've been eating nonstop junk since we've been here, so Nina is excited to have something healthy today. That's why we brought it to the farmers market. We could quickly buy some and then bring it home tomorrow. Whatever you want. Yeah, that's not the problem. If it brings a smile to Nina's face, then we're going to do it. I think cherry.
Cherry? Cherry.
Oh, cherries. Okay. Well, we don't have to buy cherries. Nina, you're prettier than all these flowers combined. Huh? Come on. That's really good. You see? Believe Nation, take notes, okay?
Lots of options for Nina.
I think she's going to go back and get some of that soup though for tonight. Yeah. Fudge is great. If I wasn't eating so much junk, I would get some of that fudge.
This stuff is really good.
Quebec fudge is really quality. Oh, look at these little micro bananas.
They're so sweet.
Ah, Nina, you're my mini banana. You're the Believe Nation mini banana. Alright, we bought all of our groceries. Now what? Soup! Nina just can't avoid a soup. Now the question is what kind of soup? Carrot soup? Lentil soup? Vegetable soup? I think she's going to go with carrots. You want to try some maple syrup? Oh, the favorite. How is it? Yummy?
Really good.
Okay, we're back to the soup place. Look at Nina's face as she's looking at the soups.
What's that?
That— this is, uh, fresh vegetables and greens. Okay, let's get that one. They have some raspberry maple syrup. Please, please. What do you think, Believe Nation? Should we get him some raspberry maple syrup?
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes! Inside the comments. Oh yes, oh yes!
Okay, let's get Nina's soup first and we can go back and get you some. Yeah!
All right, we're buying lots of stuff Today, Tim said it was a good idea to come here.
Good idea to come here?
I never even knew flavored maple syrup existed.
Well, these guys make it.
It's good. You know what did he say to me?
What? He said I'm very beautiful, and then he said he's very smart. Oh, oh, then maybe— I don't know if we should be buying— hitting on my wife here in front of me in a different language. Okay, good. Maybe we should be spending money with him. Nina's carrying some serious bags. Nina, you're building your muscles there. I know, right? We're going out that way. Bicep curls, curls, Nina, let's go! Curls! All right, so that's the market. We got some yummy food, we got some maple syrup, everybody's happy.
Now we're getting bagels.
Now we're going to go to the other famous bagel shop that hopefully has better bagels. I feel like it shouldn't be that hard to to beat the first place. I was expecting a big competition, but I feel like—
I thought it would be pretty even, but I don't think it's gonna be.
Well, you know what, it could be even if this place sucks, right?
Yeah, if this sucks, then—
So we'll see. I'm gonna put the camera away and help the wife carry all those bags. See that? I'm gonna put this away, help her carry the bags, and we're gonna get our new bagel.
Let's go!
All right, we are here. We are close. We are praying for some good yummy bagels. Feel like this is it. Yeah, the Maison de Bagel, the Bagel House. Oh, there's a lineup. That's a good sign.
It smells exactly the same as the last one.
Let's eat some bagels! Nina also got some salmon cream cheese. Smoked salmon cream cheese.
I'm excited!
So we came to a Starbucks to eat our bagels. What, you want something to drink? Chamomile tea? Okay, you set up the bagels, I'll go get our drinks. Okay, I got my coffee. Nina's working on her tea, and most importantly, we got our bagels. Okay, let's try.
Way better than the other one.
Way better than the other?
I can already tell you it's way better.
You can already tell me? All right, first bite. Okay, Nina, take a bite. It's the same for Nina. It's better for Hayden. Alright, looks like Saint-Viateur, the Maison du Bagel, is the best one in Montreal. Alright, rain is coming down. We enjoyed our bagels. Next stop, we're going to Olympic Stadium where they had the Olympics, maybe baseball team coming back, we'll see. There's a big tower we're going to go up, then there's an attached biodome and a whole bunch of things to do. That is indoors, I think, which is good because it's coming down hard. And, uh, we're gonna wrap up our second day in Montreal.
You ready?
Yeah, yeah, let's go! So this is a cool area where they have the Olympic Stadium Tower and a biodome and Planetarium all together. It's raining and super cloudy, so we're gonna hit the tower at the end so hopefully we can see more if the rain clears up. First stop is—
biodome!
The biodome!
I have a joke!
Where Nina and Hayden will engage in epic bio battles. Do do do do do do do. Nah, I'm joking, but we're gonna have some fun. What did the flower say to the bee? Buzz off! Buzz off! You can go inside and tell the flowers and the bees. Oh, no food or drink allowed. I gotta finish this very large coffee quickly. All right, we're going in. Hayden hurt himself. You pulled a muscle? You want to sit down? Okay. Up first is the tropical rainforest. Nina, You don't like the bats?
I hate bats.
You hate bats?
Yeah.
How about Batman?
No.
I'm Batman.
You're not Batman.
What are you doing?
You're hiding up there?
This is the wildest creature of all right here. Oh, it's an alligator. Or crocodile. One of the two.
That's a parrot.
That's a big parrot though.
Look at that.
Now the maple forest. Ah, nice and cool in here. Are you just running through?
Huh? No, we are looking.
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
That's a big fish.
Look at that duck. Nice. I like the cool air in here. Subpolar regions. Ooh, we're going to see some penguins, I think. Look who's hatching! Who's hatching out of his egg? Wow, look at all the puffins, huh? Look at all the puffins!
These are puffins.
Those are lots of puffins.
Yeah, like the puffin cereal. What's that? It's a hairy penguin.
Okay, that's it for the biodome. What do we think, guys? Do you like the biodome?
Yeah, we've done it already.
You want to go through it again?
No.
Okay, Hayden needs some food, and then we're going to hit maybe the stadium, maybe something else.
We'll see.
All right, we're going to go to the top of that. Here we go. This is a world record for what? It's all in French. Can we go to the other side? Also in French. Okay, let me try to translate then. World record. To the Olympic Stadium in Montreal for what? The tallest incliné au monde, something in the world. Incliné is on a leaning tower. Tallest leaning tower in the world, I think. Oh, there's English down here. Oh my God. Okay, let's see. Was that close? The tallest man-made leaning tower in the— yeah. Anyway, that's where we're going, to the top. Oh, we took some nice, uh, glamour shots, got some good angles. And what did Hayden get as a souvenir?
Little picture of this place, Olympic Stadium.
Nice. All right, time to catch the ride back down. What are you doing? Hayden's running in circles. Nina's watching old Timo videos. What are you doing?
Excitement for going out.
This is what Nina does when she waits She watches Timo videos. We love her. All right, let's go. Okay, have a nice day. Thank you. Here we go. All right, we're done. You guys have fun.
