There's like bugs crawling, little bugs crawling on it. I don't know, should we use it? Maybe it'll be okay. Evan is running naked in the back right now. Hi everyone, long time no see. I decided to make a cooking video today. Today we're gonna make pork chop with Creamy Mushroom Soup. I make this because someone posted on the Facebook and it looks really yummy. Oh my god, I gotta make this. So I send it to Evan. Okay, let's make this tonight. First, you will have to make the creamy mushrooms. And the ingredients you will need for the creamy mushrooms are 3 cloves of garlic and about 12 mushrooms, half of the onion, 2 cups of chicken stock, 2 tablespoons of oil. They recommended butter, but butter— I like to use oil. Oil, it's more healthier. 2-3 tablespoons of flour, 1 cup of light cream, salt, pepper, and you can garnish with nutmeg. First, wash the mushroom. You have to mince the garlic. Half of the onion. Okay, now slice the mushrooms. Just cut it in half and then slice it. Now we're gonna stir the mushroom, onion, and garlic together in the pan. So just wait a little bit until the oil is hot, then you add all 3 ingredients and stir it. Okay, so it's hot, it's enough, so I'm gonna throw the garlic in. And then the mushrooms. Make sure the onion is start to get soft and you add 2 tablespoons of the flour. 2 cups of chicken broth. Add it slowly. You can always add a little bit more flour if you need to.
Oh, it smells good. Yum. 1 cup of cream.
So 1 tablespoon of flour. A little bit more. Mix it up and then dump it in here. Recently we just got this Fitbit and every day we have to hit our goal. Evan has— Evan's goal is 20K, but we can— we hardly reach that 20K. Before the night ends, so at 11 o'clock or 10 PM at night, we will run on the spot for an hour just to hit our goal. Now I'm gonna add the cream in here. Stir the soup, make sure all the lumps of flour are gone. The soup is almost ready. We're gonna add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Nutmeg. Nutmeg. Nutmeg. You can use 1/2 teaspoon, but I'm not really good at measuring. No. Okay, stop it. You always laugh at the thing. Just to taste, okay? To taste. Okay.
Mm. Too much pepper.
Alrighty. I'm gonna put this aside and then we will start making the pork chops. If you want the soup to be thickened a little bit, you can simmer on the other— on the second stove. It's doing good. I'm gonna just let it simmer for a little bit. I love soup. I don't know why. I could have soup every day. So next we're gonna make the pork chop. First you want to garlic, onion, and then garnish with this green onion, Chinese onion. I don't know, what do you call this? I'm using 3 cloves of garlic as well. Then just slice another half of the onion. That's it. For these onions, I will save the green ones to garnish the pork chop later on, but I'll use the head, the white part, to stir-fry with the garlic together to give it more es flavor. Pour some oil in this pan. These pork chops, I I bought it from Costco. They're huge. They're like 2 inches thick. I have to cut them in half. This is how thin I'm cutting. Well, not really thin, in half. Last night I marinated it with just the salt. So right now I'm gonna put the pork chop in here. So cook the pork chop in a medium-high heat. I like to burn the outside a little bit before I slow cook it. I just want to eat the soup right now. So now I'm going to transfer the soup over. I'll let it simmer, simmer for about 10 minutes, and we'll see. Oh, pork chop! It's done and it looks good, smells good. I made a salad just to go so we have some green to go with the pork chop. I made kale, spinach, tomato, and avocado. Okay, it's done. I'm looking forward to try it. Hi, I'm Evan. Nice to meet you.
