Hello, Believe Nation! I'm really excited because I'm at 47,000 subscribers and I want to get to 100,000. And I feel like we have so much momentum going now that all I need to do is keep refreshing my page and I will get to 100,000 subscribers. Hmm, that doesn't seem to be working like I thought it would. I know, I'm gonna make a bunch of videos with cute kids having fun and animals running around. That'll help me get to 100,000 subscribers. I got it, I got the answer.
You ain't got the answers, man. You ain't got the answers. You ain't got the answers. You ain't got the answers, Sway. I've been doing this more than you.
Doing what?
You ain't got— come on, chill out. You ain't got the answers. You ain't got the answers. I'm asking you, you ain't been doing the education, bro. You ain't been doing the education.
Calm down.
You don't have the answers though.
Okay, I hear you, but what am I supposed to do, Kanye?
The time is now. The time is now to express and for people to believe in themselves. The time is now for it to be okay to be great. People in this world shun people for being great, for being a bright color, for standing out. But the time is now to be okay to be the greatest you.
Got it. I'm gonna do what I do best: model success. So I'm gonna ask some of my successful friends what advice they have on how I can get to 100,000. Jennifer, I need help. I need to get to 100,000 subscribers. Do you have any advice for me?
Don't. Remember, as a dancer, and that's— and I always told her, she goes, what do you consider yourself? I said, in my heart, I'm a dancer.
Got it. In my heart, I'm a dancer too.
You want to be awake. You want to be able to get what you imagine. Imagination is good for you. You imagine something and you calmly go out and get it. You know, meditation gives you that. You know, it's almost like magic. You know, when you are awake, things become easier.
But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that, and that ain't you. You're better than that.
People get confused. Companies get confused when they start getting bigger. They want to replicate their initial success. And a lot of them think, well, somehow there's some magic in the process of how that success was created. So they start to try to institutionalize process across the company. And before very long, people get very confused that the process is the content. That's ultimately the downfall of IBM. IBM has the best process people in the world. They just forgot about the content.
You want content, Steve? I'll show you content.
I drink, uh, I drink Classic Coke at the office and I drink Cherry Coke at home.
It's an incredible combination.
Don't lose no sleep over these haters, man. The reason they got a problem with your life is because they don't have a life.
In rap music, you have to defend yourself. You know, rap music is really aggressive. There's no place for a lack of confidence in rap music. You get chewed up and spit out if you're not confident and if you're not strong and assertive.
