You just want to check out your face? Is that what we're doing together, Shai?
Oh, you just fogged up my glasses. Stop.
We're gonna have some fun, hopefully, right?
Good morning. It's dark outside. We woke up at 5 o'clock.
It's Saturday. We have no responsibilities. You want to explain your outfit today?
I'm wearing two pants because it is It is 15 degrees outside and Evan wants to take the best bath. So, and I hate the cold, so I have to wear two pants and I look retarded.
This is an amazing outfit right now. Okay, you ready to go?
No.
So you have a new outfit on?
Not new outfit, just changed the pants. I can't stand the cold.
We ready to go?
Yep.
Let's go. So it's been a pretty crazy week for me. My son was off of school. And, uh, at home, and I was at home, and it was hard to manage him and get all my work done. Although we did have a lot of fun on the videos, as you guys probably saw. And, uh, we crashed out last night. What time did we go to bed?
10.
10 o'clock? 10 o'clock, we're like, we're just napping on the couch, like, okay, let's just go to bed. And we passed out, and then we woke up way earlier than we normally do. But it's a pretty chill Saturday, and My parents took my son to Peterborough to go to this dragon boat festival thing, so the house is very quiet. And it's very peaceful and relaxing. And we have no responsibilities after the crazy week that was. And so we've decided we're gonna hop on the Vespa and go to Centre Island. It's not the most beautiful day, but it's relaxing and we're gonna have some fun. So it rained here last night. And I left my Vespa outside with the mask on it, the helmet, and it got totally soaked inside. So now Nina is going to try to clean it with a hair dryer. Oh, it's hot! I feel like I'm in a warm blanket. Okay, let's go.
Thanks, Nina!
Thanks, Nina! So we got 2 turkey club sandwiches and we need to make a backpack. So all I have is my camera bag, so we have to figure out a way to fit all this. And I told Nina not to bring her purse because it was taking up way too much space in the backpack. Holy cow!
You can't even see it!
Your face is so full of donut! Do you have a joke to tell us? No.
You're not even recording.
I am recording. Are you recording? Yeah.
Oh, you are recording. I don't have a joke to tell anyone.
You could tell everybody how we met.
We met in Mexico.
We're going into Mexico!
Could we go up there?
Yeah, we're gonna go up in there. Here we go. Oh, we got here just in time. Opening up. Oh, who's this? Hello. What's your name? Huh? Imagine meeting you in a place like this. Okay, we're here at Center Island, getting off the boat. Nina's all excited and has a big smile on her face. How come?
I like nature. And being outdoor.
And I get happy when Nina has a big happy smile on. I'm pretty sure she would slack off and let me do all the work. Okay, let's go and try it. I'm excited. Switching up. Don't kill me though, okay?
Whatever, I was the one who was pedaling. You didn't do anything for the last 4 km ride.
Are we having a happy Saturday?
Yes, okay, come back up.
Okay, let's go. Not meant for people with long legs. It's still fun though. There's a middle seat. I feel like somebody could sit here.
It's for 2 adults and 1 child. Well, I guess the child can sit at the front too. You see the kids?
What?! Okay, the child is not meant to sit there.
But she sat at the front there.
Really?
Yeah, didn't you even notice?
I didn't notice.
She was sitting at the front.
I feel like it's dangerous to be sitting there. I don't think so. I feel like that's really— you don't think that's dangerous?
It's Empire. You know how the kids end up—
Oh, that's why! Those are seat belts! We buckled— there's these straps here. That we were using to buckle in our gear, but they're actually meant for seat belts for the kids to be sitting up front. Okay, so it is safe. Did you bring your bathing suit?
No.
Well, clothing is optional. So with Nina gone, I can pull up my iPad and answer your emails. You all excited now? No.
Kinda weird watching people naked.
Did you have fun?
Yeah.
You tired? Yes. Butt hurts.
My butt hurts.
Butt hurts. We're gonna take the bike back. The change for this thing was $4.50, and they said, "Do you have 50 cents? I can give you 5." I said no. Now I have all of these coins, all of these coins, which I hate having in my wallet, although there's one cool one. Where's the cool one? That one's pretty cool. So my default action whenever I get change What is this? Here you go, baby. Here's some change.
We should put all the change in the piggy bank so when we go travel, use that.
We should. Nina has a purse with lots of space. I hate change, so it works for everybody. Okay, time to go eat. Let's go! Okay, so we're done. We're gonna head back. We had a bunch of firsts today. We had our first visit to Centre Island together. We had our first bicycle ride together. Our first quadricycle ride together. Nina's first time to a clothing-optional beach.
Yeah.
Any other firsts?
No.
No, okay. So we're gonna catch the ferry, head back to the city. Whoa, this guy parked very close. Yeah, did he hit?
I think so. I know it's a white mark.
All right, looks like— but no, but this would be— this is too high. But here, maybe here, maybe. Ah, whatever. Next time we gotta park at the front of the sign instead of in the middle. All right, let's back that up. Hey, Cute Stuff, didn't I meet you in Mexico?
Yeah, you did.
