If You're an Over Planner But Want to Get Things Done, This Video Was Literally Made for You…

Marcus Notch Larsen breaks down two entrepreneur types: impulsive doers who waste energy without direction, and over-planners who never ship. The fix is balance, either by learning both skills yourself or finding a partner who does what you don't.
Good morning, Believe Nation! Today's message is: Don't just plan, do. Over to you, Marcus Notch Larsen.
I think the best advice I can give everyone is don't listen to advice. But if you are going to listen to advice, then making sure you actually do something is a good advice. If you just sit around planning something and not doing it, you're not actually going to get anywhere.
I find that there are two kinds of entrepreneurs. There's the kind who just run headfirst into every opportunity and have no planning, and usually these are the really extroverted, super extroverted, Type A personalities. They don't like to plan, they just like to do, do, do, do, do, but they're often not going in the right direction because they have no plan. Then you've got the over-planners. These are the people who plan, plan, plan, plan, want to make the perfect plan. It has to be amazing, 100% accurate before they launch, and they, they plan themselves to death and they never actually do anything. And these people I find are the ones who are usually a lot more introverted and thinking and like to have all the details lined up. Well, really the answer is you have to be able to do both, right? You have to be able to plan and you have to be able to do. If you just do, you're running aimlessly around. If you just plan, you're not getting anything done. So you have to be able to encompass both strategies to help you create something that will be spectacular as you grow. And if you don't have those skill sets, both of them yourself, then you might wanna partner up with somebody who can compensate for your weaknesses. So my question of the day today is, do you like to plan too much? Do you like to do too much and not plan? Or are you a good mixture of both? I'm really curious to find out. Leave it in the comments below. Thank you so much for watching. Have an amazing day. Continue to believe. And I'll see you again tomorrow morning for another shot of espresso.
I wake up every morning, espresso keep me going.
