Shia LaBeouf reflects on hitting rock bottom and feeling he had nothing to offer, but someone stayed present anyway. He calls her "a real one" and says sometimes presence is all love needs to be.
It's the first time I really understood love because I didn't have nothing to give. She's a real one. Sometimes that's all you need to offer a person who's in a situation like that, just to be present. And she was present for me at a time when I didn't deserve to have nobody in my life. It's not sexy to be with me, and you're showing up for me like you're, you're gonna be tied to this shit? And love is irrational that way. You can't rationalize real love. It doesn't make any fucking sense.
