And I'm not gonna film it this time. Lesson learned. Ready for some action! Was it worth it? Thumbs up? Thumbs up. Nina approved. I'm not gonna be skeptical. I'm gonna be a believer. Good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning. Nina, how you feeling? It's a day at sea today. We're gonna go get some breakfast. It is like 10:30, so Nina passed out last night. I went to bed around 1, woke up around 10, so like Nina passed out, then had to wake up at 3 to brush your teeth, and then stayed up for a while because she couldn't sleep anymore. It's all good though, it's a day at sea. So no major plans, going to do some book work, going to do some YouTube video work, going to do some workout, going to do some relaxing. Evan's going to do some drinking. We're going to do some food eating. We have a special, uh, uh, restaurant booked tonight, and, uh, let's start the day, get some food.
Oh!
Alright, lesson learned. Found a sink. Use that to clean off my pants. Now I'm gonna get food again and I'm not gonna film it this time. Lesson learned. Alright, this is round 1 for me. Nice healthy breakfast. And Nina is over here. Happy breakfast! Thank you for the coffee, Nina. Round 2. Fruit loops and yogurt. Where you going? Oh, Nina's looking for round 2. Was it worth it?
It's hard for you. I like soft.
So I'm filming a video for the channel. This is my setup. It's a chair against the beautiful waves of the backdrop. And to make that happen, I have a table and a bar stool and a garbage can and a book. But the final product will be amazing. Hey, what's up? It's Evan. I am coming to you from the North Sea, somewhere between Denmark and Germany right now. Alright, filming is done. Took me about 20-25 minutes. Hopefully the sound came out okay because I got the waves crashing behind me. I'm gonna go check in, see what Nina's doing, and we're gonna continue with our day. All right, plan: we're gonna go upstairs, we're gonna get some coffee, I'm gonna work on the book. Nina's gonna do some sudoku, and, uh, we'll take it from there. Ready, Nina? Ready for what? Ready for some action.
Sure.
Ready for some action! Before getting to work, we're gonna get some coffee. Nina's getting a— what are you getting?
Cappuccino.
Yeah, I'm getting a cappuccino.
Let's see how it comes.
Alright, we found our spot. We got our drinks, looking out over the balcony.
Time to unpack the computer.
Get to work! Here we go, it's writing time. Alright, so this is gonna take way longer than I anticipated. We sat there— how long were we there for? We were there for a while, and I've only done 3 people out of the 50. Just reviewing what they're saying, formatting, spelling, structure, all that stuff. Takes a long time. It's gonna take me a long time to finish, but the goal is to get it all done by the time I get back to Toronto. So we've done 3 out of 50, and I got a lot more work to do. Right now, hustle. Hustle. Hashtag hustle. What are we doing now?
I want to get some snacks.
Nina's hungry. You want to go for lunch?
No, just snacks.
Snacks. We're going to get Nina some snacks and then continue the hustle.
That's a lot of snack. Snack.
That's a snack. They have strawberry rhubarb crumble. Oh my god, I'm going to have to have some of that. But I'm not really hungry. I got my cappuccino still. I'm going to finish that off and then maybe get some food.
Nina's eating.
And it's back to work for me. Woo! Round 2 of the snack is soup. What kind of soup?
Vegetable soup.
Is it good?
Mm-hmm.
It's round 2 of a snack. Kind of feels like a lunch.
It's my soup.
Still a snack. That whole thing, that's just a snack though. Nina's starting to feel nauseous up here on the 12th deck, so we're gonna head back to the room, let her lie down, get comfortable. I'm gonna keep working on the book. Alright, so I have reviewed— I'm on page 131 out of 428, and there's 89,000 words to go through. It's gonna take a long time, but I'm making some good progress. Over 25% of the way. So Nina and I both got a little bit seasick and relaxed and watched a movie. Romantic comedy. Nina enjoyed a lot.
Well, it's unrealistic, but it's fine.
She was having a lot of fun. She was laughing a lot. Still feeling a little bit headache. How you feeling? You had a shower?
A little bit headache.
I just crashed into the wall there. We have dinner reservations at an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse, so good thing we didn't eat too much. How hungry are you? I'm actually not that hungry either, but Maybe we'll get hungry as the food comes out. So we're gonna go find our restaurant and enjoy our evening. So we dine at our own pace. There's a marker we're supposed to turn upside down. We have a salad bar and then we get to pick this a steady flow, as much as we want, of all of this stuff. Should be exciting. All right, appetizer round 1. That's mine. Nina's got some healthy salad too. Round 2 is a little bit lighter for me, just a little bit of shrimp pasta, the mozzarella di bufala, some shaved cheese, and then We have to flip our cards over to green, and we start getting meat.
How you feeling, Nina?
It's too much.
We turned our cards over to stop the inflow of food. Still catching up. We're super full, but we wanted more pineapple. Cinnamon pineapple. Yummy! Thumbs up, thumbs up. Nina approved. All right, we are done. We are full. Yeah, though, real full. How you doing, Nina? Full. It's filling, and the boat's really moving a lot, so we're on the top deck of the boat, so you feel it a lot more. So we're going to head back to the cabin, relax us off a little bit. Nina brought her wine with her, and then, uh, after maybe an hour or so Once we've worn this off, come back to Deck 12 and get some strawberry rhubarb dessert with ice cream for Nina.
For Evan, I don't drink.
And I'll find something, you know, some water or nice healthy salad. And what do you think, huh? We'll head back out in an hour. I'll get my dessert, and you know, probably get another drink.
And it will be another night. Yeah!
Alright, got to page 169. Starting to crash out from the waves, so Nina and I are going to head up to the deck and try to get some food and maybe that will help. So it is 9:19 at night. Got out of the cabin. Going to go get some food. Check it out, one of the cabin stewards came by and Nina told him good morning. Good morning. That's how, uh, stoned out we're feeling. We're also going to check out that little patch. I don't know if we can buy it now. Helps with seasickness. Oh, you want to go there? Want to go there first? We'll go there first. It's probably closed, but we have one more day at sea, so it'll help for that.
Let's go. All right, they don't have what I'm looking for, but they have something else.
What are What did you find, Nina? I'm very skeptical at $16 US, but we'll give it a shot. I'm willing to be proved wrong. Those are some giant bottles. $330 Grey Goose bottle.
Huge.
Okay, Nina's gonna put it on. Do I need to sit down for this? No? Stand up?
Okay.
Just— you're a lot shorter than I am. Can you reach? Okay, one drop behind. That's it? Really?
Oh, it smells good.
That's the whole point, it's supposed to smell.
It says tassui tai, so I think 2 times.
Oh, I feel so much better now.
Actually, it smells good.
It smells good, but that is also Alleviate? I'm not gonna be skeptical. I'm gonna be a believer. This is gonna work. Oh my god, this is working. Believe. Believe in that. What's this called?
Motion Ease oil.
Tropi—
topical oil?
Motion Ease topical oil. I believe in you. Let's make it happen.
Nature move.
Let's go get some strawberry rhubarb with ice cream.
Nina. Hmm?
The rhubarb is gone.
What? What is it?
It was a lunchtime only thing.
Oh no.
It's very sad.
So what are you gonna have?
I don't know.
What's over there?
I don't know. It's very sad. It's a sad day. Let's go look together. Oh, you overflew it. You could hold my hand. Make me feel better. Very sad. Alright, so I got some cheeseburger pizza, some pasta, and some apple strudel that I'm gonna add some ice cream and caramel sauce on top of. There it is, final product. Get some butterscotch sauce. Oh yeah. Nina got red wine. Okay, back to the room? Let's go. Nina's motion sickness is gone. That oil worked. Alright, I want to get to a lower deck so it's not shaky as much. Here we go. Alright, I got to page 216 of 428, which officially puts me at more than halfway through the book of spell checking and formatting and reviewing, which makes me very excited. I'm gonna end on Joe Rogan. I'm just about to start going through Joe Rogan stuff. So it's taken me way longer than I anticipated to get this stuff done, but it's important that it's done right. You know, I want, I want this book to be something that is legendary. I want this book to be something that's legendary. That's right, Nina. I like that. Nina, how are you feeling with the whole I feel good. You feel good? I feel a little better. None of that I feel good. I feel better.
I don't feel any better.
Maybe I should put a— maybe I should do a reapplication for bedtime. Maybe. Anyway, it is almost midnight. We are going to arrive early tomorrow morning at Hamburg, and we need to get some sleep.
I have to wake up at 6:30.
Really? Okay, then we definitely have to get to bed. Go see Hamburg, explore the town, and—
Ring all day tomorrow.
I thought you didn't want to be in this video. I just said don't film me. Don't film me, but hear me. Hear me in this video. You will hear my voice. The voice of Nina. Okay, Nina, any other final messages that you want to—
Continue to believe.
Continue to believe.
Much love.
And we'll see you soon. Bye guys, hope you have a great weekend.
