You have any words of inspiration for the channel?
Don't rush to move.
I need light for my makeup too.
Boo!
Jesus Christ, holy cow!
All right, it's 4:40. We're gonna take a bit of a break and go to Costco and IKEA to buy a few things. Show you a quick update. Master bedroom. It's coming along. Nina's closet. Coming along. Nina's working a lot. How's your back? Sore.
My back is sore. My legs, my foot are tired.
I like your shirt though.
Yeah, me too.
Kitchen is a mess but coming along. Family room. We got the couch set up. TV. Coming along. Tons of boxes. Dun dun dun dun dun! Office! This, I gotta hang those up. I'm gonna put a stand-up desk here. I got a place to show off my YouTube. Then I'm gonna put some other things on here. Got a nice plant. Closet, gotta still sort out. We're going to Costco for what? Hangers?
Hangers.
Just check up new things.
I'm gonna get that stand-up desk from IKEA. It's the motorized one you can push up and down. What else do we need? Oh, the little cushiony things that you can push furniture on. Do you have any words of inspiration for the channel?
Don't rush to move.
Did we rush to move? We didn't rush. More than normal? I think we did pretty well compared to most people. We got movers. Movers are amazing though. Movers are worth it. Imagine if we had to move all this ourselves, we'd be dead. And they wrapped it up and—
Yeah, they wrapped it up really nicely.
Did a good job. Get movers. Okay, off to Costco and IKEA.
What happened to your knee?
I know, I injured myself.
Can I eat tofu soup tonight?
Sure. I believe. You tired?
Mm-hmm.
Well, we got up at 5 or something.
I got up at quarter to 5.
That's crazy. I normally hate going to Costco. It's among my least favorite things to do in life. Actually, any kind of shopping, grocery shopping. But I need hangers for my closet and I want them to be amazing. So I'm excited. I want my closet to be like, I open it up and it's Batman. I want to be inspired by my closet daily. The act of opening up my closet, poof, inspiration. This is it. We found the hangers. Non-slip hangers. You can touch it. Nina, you okay? Nina's sneezing up a storm. They're the velvety ones. I like the wooden ones better though.
I know.
Two boxes?
Yeah.
What is that? We have that. No, you don't like them? Okay, get them. You ordered that online at Amazon.
I didn't order it.
You sure?
I order one. Yeah, you need three.
Sure, I like it. Silver looks good. Chrome. What? Why you give me that look? What does that look for?
Okay, let's go.
What? No, explain the look.
You, you sound like just You wrap it up late. No, what do you call that?
I don't know, just like— I don't care. No, no, they're good, they're good. They're, they're definitely one better than the plastic ones. I like it. I don't mean I don't care so much about toilet bowl cleaners, but you know, if you had to go with one, you go metallic. Next up is IKEA. So what are we doing here? We're looking for better hangers, potentially light bulbs, the things that slide under the furniture, and the stand-up desk. This is it. This is the black version. We're gonna get the white one though. Ooh, this is it. Let's write it down. What do you think, baby? Nina's tired.
I need one too.
We're only gonna be standing though. That's right, friends. So the good news is they have it. The bad news is they don't have it in the store, so we've got to go to a different location to go pick it up. So we're going to finish our shopping, see what else we need to buy so I can get my desk, go home and build it. Nina needs a new New pan. Frying pan?
I don't know.
What kind of pan do you need?
I need a really big pot for lentils. Because I make them.
You want to buy that one?
No.
You need taller than this? This is pretty tall. No to the pans? Moving on. In the lighting section, IKEA has no daylight LED bulbs. They're all soft. So they have the yellowy look, which I do not want. So we are striking out all over IKEA. No pot for Nina. But we got the desk even though it's not here.
Can we look at the lights for my closet?
What are you doing? Are you farming?
Here, can we look at it?
I think you need a big sun in your closet. Disco ball! Look at that!
Yeah.
I need it for makeup.
To do my makeup.
Makeup's important.
I need light for my makeup.
Makeup too?
Aha!
We found the felt tip pads. It's tiny. How many do you need?
How many do you need?
I don't know. Oh, put it in the bag. Hey, first thing to go in the bag. Success! Hooray! Anytime Nina has a chance to look at plant stuff, she goes all in.
I think you should put basil.
No, basil is yummy.
Is it too big? Basil and rosemary? Is it too big to put it on the—
No, it's not too big. I think it sucks, right? So our big trip to IKEA resulted in this being purchased. Plus the stand-up desk. Alright, we're on our way. Nina's got the pots. Now the real question is, are we gonna get a hot dog or some ice cream? No. I'm gonna admit I'm a little bit sad. There's a little bit of a tear coming down, but it's okay. We'll get the desk and then go get a real dinner.
Yeah?
Come on.
Alright, here it is. I'm gonna take it home and build it. You ready, Nina? Are you farming? Nina farming? Don't run into the wall. We don't want Nina to get hangry. And she's been very patient all day and very hungry right now. So we're going to go try out a new Korean place called—
Joon's.
Joon's. Because Nina wants some tofu soup. I'm gonna get some bulgogi. And I might go get an Oreo McFlurry afterwards.
You will.
I might. You will. Maybe the bulgogi that I get will be covered in Oreo McFlurry. And then I'll be like, "Ah, I don't need it anymore." So the food was just okay. We're gonna go to McDonald's. I wasn't sure if we're gonna go.
Yeah, of course you're gonna go.
Well, I said maybe they'll have Oreo McFlurry on top of my bulgogi. There was no Oreo McFlurry on top of my bulgogi, so we're gonna go get an Oreo McFlurry with caramel. Oh, Nina's gonna go to the car. Oh, because it's gonna run out. Oh right, here you go. Nina's gonna go to the car because we're gonna run out of parking, so I'm gonna go get large Oreo McFlurry Flurry with caramel sauce. Costs a little bit extra, but it's so, so, so, so, so good. I didn't ask Lily if she wanted anything. She doesn't like sweet stuff, so maybe I'll surprise her anyway. We gotta surprise the wife, right? It's the thought that counts. Maybe like an apple pie or something. Oh, Oreo McFlurry? Oh, okay. She just said, can I get her one too? See, I wanted to surprise her, but I'm gonna get her the same thing. I like the new system. Easy. Boo!
Jesus Christ! Holy cow!
Are you farming again?
Well, I'm waiting for you.
Okay, here, take this.
And take this.
Let me tell you something.
What?
So I was walking down the street. Yeah. And you had left, right? And I said, "Should I get something for Nina?" And then I said, "It's nice to surprise the wife, right? You gotta surprise her and get her something." And then I said, "But she doesn't like things that are sweet." So I gotta find something that's not too sweet. And even if she doesn't eat it, it's the thought that counts about husband, you know, buying something nice for her. And I thought, "Maybe I'll get her an apple pie." But I'm gonna go look at the menu. And then, like 5 seconds later, Evan! Evan, can you give me one too? I couldn't surprise you, but it's the thought that counts, and it's on video, and you'll see it. So, husband was thinking about you, and then he scared you.
Yeah.
Okay?
Mm-hmm.
Let's go home?
Yeah, yummy.
Build a table?
Mm-hmm.
I'm gonna build a table. I'm very excited.
Do it right! Just do it! Do it right! Just do it! Do it right! Just do it! Please do it right! Do it right!
