Measuring Stakeholder Agreement and Stability in a Decentralised Organisation
This paper (Venugopalan & Aydt, 2023) proposes a method and tool to measure agreement and stability in decentralized organisations (DOs). It adapts Hirschman’s exit/voice/loyalty triangle into a DO tension quadrilateral, encodes stakeholder agreeability as 5 discrete vote choices (c1..c5 mapped to 0..4), runs repeated e‑voting to produce time series of interval scores (NIWA), and uses control charts (I‑MR and EWMA) to detect instability (early warning of disagreement or exit). The tool supports weighted/equal voting and is evaluated with synthetic experiments (30 intervals).

Five choices (c1..c5) mapped linearly to agreeability 0..4 (c1→0 ... c5→4).
c1 = 2/5, c2 = 1/5, c3 = 0/5, c4 = -1/5, c5 = -2/5
