Hi, I'm Stacy Copeland with Meet Lauderdale, your official source for the latest in meetings info in Greater Fort Lauderdale. With the Labor Day weekend behind us and kids back in school, some of you may feel sad that summer is drawing to a close. Well, guess what? I've got good news for you. Here in Greater Fort Lauderdale, summer never ends. I'm here at S3, the newest restaurant addition on Fort Lauderdale Beach at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Take a look at this island chic restaurant. Let me introduce Aaron Habermoth. He's with The Restaurant People, the masterminds behind S3 and other Fort Lauderdale hotspots like YOLO, Five, and Tarpon Bend. Aaron, exactly what does S3 stand for?
It's actually a double acronym. It stands for Sun, Surf, and Sand, and Steak, Seafood, and Sushi.
Tell us a little bit about your cuisine.
Oh, we're actually a shareable food concept, so we encourage large parties to come. They come, order, each person order a couple of things, and all the food comes out as it's prepared for freshness, and it's put in the middle of the table, and everybody can just sit and enjoy all the food.
Wonderful. And we're here in your private dining room. What a way to meet. Tell us what groups can expect here.
Well, our private dining room holds about 55 people for sit-down dinner. We have capabilities on our outdoor terrace right outside for up to about 150 people for cocktail parties and for buffets.
Fabulous. So ladies and gentlemen, if your S3 stands for Sad Summer Stopped, then come on down to our S3, Sun, Surf, and Sand in Greater Fort Lauderdale, where summer never ends. Until next month, stay sunny, my friends.
