In this brief welcome address, Fernando Harb, Vice President of Tourism Sales for Hello Sunny, greets representatives from Vacation.com at the Diplomat Hotel and positions Greater Fort Lauderdale as a rapidly expanding, world‑class tourism destination. He cites key metrics—over 33,000 hotel rooms, the fastest‑growing airport in the United States with frequent new domestic and international routes, and a cruise port that set a record of more than 50,000 passengers in a single day—to illustrate the area’s growth. After showing a 60‑second promotional video, he invites attendees to visit the Hello Sunny sales booth to meet him or Director of Sales Caitlin, and promotes an evening event at the Museum of Science and Discovery featuring attraction partners. The speech ends with a friendly thank‑you and encouragement to enjoy the day and the night‑time event.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Vice President of Tourism Sales for Hello Sunny, Fernando Harb. Can I hear Hello Sunny back, please? Hello Sunny! Oh, tough room, tough room. Anyway, welcome to Greater Fort Lauderdale, the Venice of America. We are so pleased to welcome Vacation.com to our sunny destination here at the beautiful Diplomat Hotel. So, you know, Greater Fort Lauderdale has evolved a lot from the days of spring break, and I think I recognize a couple of you, by the way. We are now a world-class destination. Fort Lauderdale now boasts over 33,000 rooms. We have the fastest-growing airport in the United States, and we're pretty much adding domestic and international flights almost on a monthly basis. I mean, we're all over the place. We just keep growing and growing. And not only that, but a cruise port that just recently broke all records by processing over 50,000 passengers in a single day. So we are on fire. We're the hottest destination here in Florida. Now I'm going to show you a quick little video, 60 seconds, to give you a real idea of what Greater Fort Lauderdale has to offer, and I'll be right back. Roll the tape. All right, pretty nice, huh? For those of you that live in cold weather states, remember me when that cold weather hits and, you know, we're having to buy new sunglasses. Anyway, um, 2 quick things. Number one, please, if you can, stop by the booth, meet with Caitlin, our Director of Sales, uh, or myself. We'll be at the booth. We'd love to meet with you, answer questions, or more importantly, just to say hello. And tonight we have a great event planned for you at the Museum of Science and Discovery together with a lot of our attraction partners. We have a fun night in store for you. So thank you again, have a sensational day, and we'll see you tonight. Thank you. Thank you.
