The Personal Best Program to Run a PB | Running Coaching by Floris Gierman, MAF Training 2023

Five runners share how Floris Gierman's Personal Best program, which combines MAF training with nutrition and sleep, helped them run faster. Results include a 1:38 half-marathon, a 3:40 marathon, and injury recovery in four months. The program works across all ages and experience levels.

I've really found that this program has been the most complete in terms of a holistic approach to running, to living.
Inside it is all the stuff that's necessary for you to correlate to low-heart training.
I mean, I've seen the elite, the faster guys and girls on your page improve with it, and I follow a lot of them on Strava. And, you know, people like me, I'm a back-of-the-packer, you know, old lady can benefit.
I think just about anybody who wants to run healthier, faster, and feel better doing it.
Somebody like me who's got some mileage on their body, in many, many races over the years, and who's worn out and overtrained, to a beginner who really doesn't know how to go about doing it.
Putting years and years of training and not getting the results that you want, I mean, that's tough. I'm noticing as I've got older, I've just had more injuries.
I've kind of reached an age now where I don't have to work, and I'm sort of finding the time. So it's how do I fill the years between being able to run now and to the point when I can't.
I think a lot of runners maybe wonder, oh, I like the math idea, but I'm the only person in my running group, my running circle, who does this, and nobody else gets it. But by joining the PR Program, you have a built-in community.
Even though I'm 50 and getting older, I think I can do better than a 1:38 half. And I think I could do better than a 3:40 marathon if I make those a priority. If you're not paying attention to your diet, you're not paying attention to your sleep. And, you know, there's a lot of things you can do to mitigate your circumstances. And I think some of the marathon programs that are out there, I mean, most of the marathon programs that are out there are missing the rest of it.
I believe everyone can benefit, especially people that do not have unlimited amounts of time to go and dig out all this mountain of information from nets and books.
And I just, I was at my wit's end. That's one thing about me, and that's why it got me into trouble. I have no problem pushing myself until I literally break down, which is what I did.
It takes a look at training, nutrition, diet, sleep, and all those other things that go into play when it comes down to being a healthy athlete and being ready for your competition.
And also has a great nutrition guideline for anyone who wants to not only be a faster, more efficient runner, but also move wants to become a healthier runner as well.
You really want to help people, and that comes across.
The way Forrest has put together this program is impeccable.
I have recommended many friends to join the program.
And after 4 months, it has finally— I'm finally able to achieve my goal.
He is a source of authority. And that was perhaps the key.
It's just the Wikipedia of low heart rate running.
And I've recommended it to people that, you know, really want to learn how to run and live better.
