Hey, have you ever had a problem knowing where to get started? Like literally you just wake up or you're in the middle of your business or starting a business, or maybe you're getting out of college or going to college and you're like getting up in the morning saying, I don't even know where to start. You know, I'm lost. Well, I know, I know the feeling of being lost and not knowing where to go or what to do. Or it could be lost with your money.
Lost with a job.
Feel like you're at a dead end place, you can't get a promotion. Maybe it's in a relationship, you know, you want a relationship. You don't know where to find that right person, guy or a gal. Things aren't turning out well. Look, I've been in all those places, okay? And I want to do what I can to help you. I want to give back. I know what other people did for me. I'm talking about strangers, people I didn't even know that reached out to me and could see that I was having a hard time in life. My name is Grant Cardone. If you don't know who I am, I apologize. Maybe you just run into this channel for the first time. I've written seven books, have 13 business programs. I work with some of the largest companies in the world to help them with their revenue. Basically, companies that become a little lost and departments or divisions are entrepreneurs. I work with a lot of entrepreneurs. I'll probably have 25 to 30 entrepreneurs come in my office in Miami this week for a little guidance mapping out where they go next. So this thing about where do you get started? Okay, look, it happens to everybody. This is what I want you to know. Number one, I want to help you. I want to help you get sorted out as you go through your life. Because at different places in life, I promise you, you're going to find. You don't know where to go. Everybody goes through this. The most successful people in the world wake up some mornings with no clue what to do today. Okay? So first thing I want you to know is that it's normal. It happens to everybody. It's not like you're a bad person or you're lost or you're depressed or you got some problem you need to take medication for. Everybody, everybody, regardless of their stature in life, where they are, regardless of their money, their relationship.
Their job, they run the joint.
Promise you, no matter how much they present.
Like they look like they got the whole package put together, everybody, everybody has those days and the sun is kicking. Today has those days where.
They don't know what to do.
I don't know what to do. You know, uncertainty.
A little lostness.
But don't turn that into something more than it is, okay? This is what I do with that. Okay? And. And I'd love to know what you do. You can post in comments. I'd love to know what you do to handle this. Here I am today. I'm in Miami, waking up, beautiful day, gorgeous. I'm like, do I want to work out? Don't want to run on the beach? Do I want to go for a swim? Do I just want to go straight to the office? Oh, by the way, when I get in there, what am I going to do? First thing I do is I don't overreact.
Okay? I'd love to know what you do. First thing I do is I do not overreact and start asking people or myself what's wrong with me, okay? There's nothing wrong with you if you wake up a bit uncertain.
Right? Where am I going? What am I going to do? Don't. Don't do that to yourself, okay? What I do is. I don't. Number one. And sometimes what you need to do.
What you don't. What you want to avoid doing sometimes is as important as what you need to do. Number one, don't overreact, okay? Don't start analyzing yourself. You know, you're not a therapist. Most of them don't work anyway. Don't ask yourself what's wrong with me? Because there's nothing wrong with you. Just need to get moving, okay? Second thing is just get moving. Anything. Move in any direction. Go anywhere. Go for a walk, go for a run, go for a workout, Start to get dressed, go get a shower, okay? Do anything that starts moving you in the direction of something more productive than.
Oh, man, what am I, man? What's wrong with me? Okay, there's nothing wrong with you, okay? Number one, nothing wrong with you. Number two, start moving in the direction. This has helped me so much. Now, if you don't know, like, maybe you're in a. You're a sales position and you're like, I just don't have it in me to make calls today. Okay, well, sooner or later, you're going to have to confront that. You got to make calls or you got to go talk to that girl or whatever the deal is. You got to go talk to your boss, or you got to become more valuable to yourself and the environment around you. And the only way to become More valuable. Before you make that call, before you go talk to that girl, before you go talk to your boss, before you do the thing that maybe you don't know you want to do or need to do, start helping somebody else. You know, Maybe. Maybe just look, look. Hey, who can I help? These are the three things that I do that help me more than anything. Okay? My whole life has been really a series of getting over losses. Since the age of 10, I've literally been like. Like, if I look back over my life today, it's like loss after loss after loss. And then I start thinking, oh, my gosh, man, am I going to have another loss? And I want to avoid that pain. I want to avoid the. The emotional connection with losing stuff and losing people and not feeling good about myself and having to confront. Look, this is the human condition, you know? How much emotional intelligence do you have?
Emotional intelligence, big word for something really simple. Okay? Don't overanalyze anything. You're going to feel better if you start doing something. Helping people always helps. Always. Helping other people always makes people feel better. I just left. I did a charity event with my friend John Hamlin this weekend. He invited me to go to make a wish for kids. They raise money for kids that, you know, have situations they can't. Like, you make a wish. Kid says, I'm gonna die in 14 months. I want to get married before I do, and we don't have any money. And they come in and figure that out. As crazy as that seems, right? So anyway, I was like, I don't know. I don't know. I put it off. Put it off, you know, I don't want to go. I do want to go. I don't want to go. I don't want to go. I don't want to travel. I don't. I got a weekend with my kids. It's Mother's Day weekend, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, dude, you don't know what to do, okay? Don't overanalyze it. Show up in the direction, some direction that starts to become survival and better for you. And three, go help somebody, dog. Go help somebody. Okay. We got on the plane, flew over there. Yeah, it was work, okay?
Raised over a million dollars for charities. I came home and I felt better about myself, right? So if I could do that, If I can do that. A series, okay, Maybe. You're not going to raise a million dollars today. You're probably not. I'm not. I'm not going to raise a million dollars today. I'm Going to do a bunch of little stuff today. Now, now I got to go back to doing little stuff, okay? I got to go doing the little stuff of taking phone calls, helping people, looking for somebody on the streets to help. But first thing I got to do is I gotta show up, okay? Hey, post in comments if this was helpful. Show up even if you feel terrible. My friend Dale Christiansen told me when I was 25 years old, I was experiencing depression every day. He's like, no matter what, man, no matter what.
No matter what, dude, show up. Even if your eyes are bleeding, show up. I've been doing that for 34 years now. Show up even when I don't want to, okay? And then what I try to do is I try to help one person. One person.
And what happened over the period of 34 years, I did that every day. I'm not depressed anymore. At least not for long periods of time. I don't use any kind of medication, don't use any kind of drugs, don't smoke weed. I don't drink over excessively drink. I might have a drink once in a while and got a beautiful wife, two beautiful kids. And for the most part, my life is freaking wonderful. All I did was this. I don't overanalyze, never do. I label myself a loser, a quitter.
I'm hard on myself. I never label myself ocd, acd, add, ocdd, whatever. A depressant alcoholic, a drug addict. No, no, I don't. This is what I do. I do things, okay? Show up, move in the direction I don't overanalyze, Move in the direction that I think could be more pro survival than staying in one place. And number three, help somebody, anybody. Just start helping people, okay? And what that does, it gets me into action, gets me in the movement, gets me me out of, out of myself. I don't know if that's emotional intelligence or not. I know this. It's action intelligence. Action intelligence is not artificial intelligence, it's AI. Action intelligence makes me feel good. I hope this makes you feel good. I look forward to your comments. God bless. Be great. Look, I want to help you. Anything I can do to help you. By the way, on your money, on the money point. Let's get that money right. Let's get your money right so you can go to a charity event and help out. If you hit the link, I'm going to give you my little millionaire booklet. It's a 44 page booklet on how to become a millionaire. My goal is to give 1 million of these away this year. I want to give one to you. All I ask you to do is, once you read and it starts changing your financial condition, share it with somebody else. Okay? God bless. Be great. And remember, Action, Intelligence. It'll make you feel better. Help. Somebody.
Yeah. So I guess you know what? I do.
I figured it out. After a little pep talk I gave myself.
I jumped in the pool. Hey, get wet. Go for a swimming.
Prove to yourself in the world.
That you're blessed. Because you are. Now go prove it. Have a great one.
