Gary Brecka and a co-speaker argue that 85% of autoimmune cases labeled idiopathic are actually driven by mold, heavy metals, parasites, or viruses. Chronic stress keeps the body in fight-or-flight mode, weakening immunity and making it vulnerable to these triggers.

85% of the cases in autoimmune disease is idiopathic. Most people, when they're told they have an autoimmune disease, they're basically told, you woke up one day and your immune system went haywire. But when you try to take that a step further and ask your doctor, well, what caused my immune system to go haywire? Well, we don't know. Just luck of the draw. It happens or it's hereditary. While we don't know the genesis of all, if you eliminated mold, mycotoxins, heavy metals, parasites, viruses, you would dramatically narrow down this idiopathic portion of this causes.
Part of the reason, though, people become more susceptible to those microbes is because of the emotional, spiritual, and mental drain people have. So part of autoimmune disease is the fact that your body's attacking itself due to the fact that you are emotionally attacking yourself over and over mentally. And sometimes it's in the subconscious. All those things are adding up. Mentally, you're in this fight or flight state. Eventually, it's like your batteries burn out. Your body can't deal with all of the infections, the parasites, the mold, the viruses, all of those things, and then it just overtakes your immune system.
