This is a YouTube video titled "Organic vs Non Organic Foods, The Real Cost with Gary Brecka" created in March 2024. The content features a single speaker discussing the benefits of organic foods over non-organic, focusing on nutrient density, satiety, and the avoidance of harmful chemicals like glyphosate. Although Gary Brecka is mentioned in the title, the excerpt itself contains only one speaker and no direct conversation involving him.
Here's something really interesting. I know that people talk about the expense of eating organic, but this is the exact same brand. This is non organic, this is organic. This is only $1 more. But think about this. More nutrient dense foods require less satiation. So you actually eat less of this to get satiated because the nutrients, when they get to the brain, actually tell the brain that you've eaten enough food and you're more satiated. That's why people that eat a high amount of processed foods eat more calories in a day, even eating the same foods. So if you eat more nutrient dense foods, you're likely be less and it's going to be more nutritious. So this is only a dollar difference between these two and organic matters because it's not sprayed with pesticides, herbicides, insecticides or preservatives. It also means that it doesn't contain glyphosate, which is actually the deadly poison that's found in Roundup that's used as an herbicide to protect these vegetables against predators. So I really like these organic versions. I think the extra dollar is well worth your buck.
