This is a YouTube video titled "What Do People Who Live to Be 100 Have In Common" created in January 2024, discussing gut health and its relation to longevity. The excerpt features a monologue or single speaker explaining the role of gut bacteria and hydrogen production in aging, without indication of multiple speakers or presence of Gary Brecka.
Everyone talks about living forever and everyone talks about longevity, but let's look at the people that are over 100. What are they doing? And there was no food, there was no religion, there was no part of the world. There was nothing you could link together except for their gut bacteria. Wow. Was the one thing they all had in common because I believe longevity comes from gut. Oh, no doubt. I would absolutely support that. So, so if we have these hydrogen trophs which we should have when we eat fiber and fatty acids, short chain and medium chain fatty acids and then fiber, beneficial fiber, water soluble fiber, then they, those hydrogen trophs convert those fatty acids and fiber into hydrogen gas. And what's really beautiful is they will consume 30% of the hydrogen gas they've created as their own energy source and then the rest goes either out the tailpipe or into the body through the intestinal tract to modulate our function of our bodies.
