Gary Kadi explains why dentists lose patients at case acceptance. Handing a full treatment plan at the front desk kills the close rate. Instead, move consultations to a private room with visuals and payment forms, or get creative if space is tight.

Your treatment room setup might be silently killing your close ratio. Let's go deeper into Dr. N's story. His patients were being handed full mouth treatment plans at the front desk. No privacy, no real conversations. Just numbers and a hope that they'd say yes. Now, some of them were right. They had high trust in Dr. N and his team. But that's not a very efficient way to be running a business. Or really a very private and professional way to be running it either. Here's how we flipped this patient experience. We created a dedicated treatment room. The room was quiet, private. It was equipped with visual aids, payment forms, and a screen to show images. No distractions, no phone ringing. Just the patient and the plan. And I know a lot of you might be thinking like, I don't have the space for this, so just know that there are ways to become creative with this, even with a lot of our practices in New York City who are very limited on space. So it's something we can work with you on.
