A short YouTube transcript (speaker Gavin Shields) advising self-storage operators to convert containers into small businesses—such as barbers or pop-up cafés—on-site to create a mini retail-park effect that increases footfall and awareness of the storage facility. The excerpt is conversational and offers parking/space as a practical constraint.

So what we've seen a lot of some self storage do is like they, they convert a container into sort of a mini business but a business that draws a lot of people to it like footfall. So for example a barbers or a pop up cafe or like something along those lines. Something where people are going to come to it on a regular basis. So they're not only coming to your self store site for that small business but then they know there's a self store site there when they do need it or they speak to one of their family members or friends in self storage. Oh I go to that barbers and they're on this self store site. So why don't you go speak to them? You just create more awareness. So the barber is actually in a container? Yeah, barbers in a container. So you could, you could convert a container into a small business that rolls people there as long as you've got the parking space. Yeah. For people to come and that sort of stuff. We have. Why not turn your self store site into like a mini retail park?
