Interview of Hélène Kosinski de Lataillade, Co-Founder, EFC Phoenix Franco-Chinese School, Shanghai

In this French‑language interview, architect Hélène Kozinski de La Taillade describes her professional journey and philanthropic involvement. She explains how, while based between the Southwest of France and Paris, she co‑founded three bilingual Franco‑Chinese kindergarten schools in Shanghai with her long‑time collaborator Guylaine. Guylaine later established the Fondation Albatros, a charitable foundation inspired by their Shanghai experiences. After a period of separate professional and family lives, the two reconnected in France. Hélène now coordinates the Fondation Albatros’s UNESCO event scheduled for 21 October 2025 and adds a fundraising component by presenting the Nomade lamp, designed by Franco‑Brazilian designer Julien Bécard and sold through the Create to Donate platform. The interview highlights themes of cross‑cultural education, architectural practice, collaborative philanthropy, and creative fundraising.
