So what are the Taxpayer Bill of Rights? Well, it's my opinion that not a shred of these is ever respected in the first place. But this is what's more important. These rights only apply to taxpayers. And once you are no longer a taxpayer, which is the legal entity description, the Taxpayer Bill of Rights would be of no use to you. Now, a couple of the rights, there's 10 of them, I'm not going to go into all of them. The first one is the right to be informed. They violate that all the time when they send you scary letters without due process. You're your right to quality service. You're right, that should be expected. It's a government civil servant. They should be polite to you anyway. The right to pay no more than the correct amount of tax, well, that's arbitrary because they're arguing what you are claiming and what you may have already filed. So there's no such thing as a real Taxpayer Bill of Rights, but there is a constitutional Bill of Rights and that includes your right to due process, which the IRS will never give you.
