Gianna Miceli breaks down how the IRS sends fake intimidating letters using jargon to scare taxpayers. One example: a notice from a made-up "IRS Frivolous Return Office" accusing someone of filing a return since 2021, with no tax year listed and mismatched ID numbers. These letters don't require a response.

So what's the most frustrating notice people have ever gotten? Well, I'm not a normal person in regards to the IRS. The most frustrating letters they send, which my members bring up to me, are when they simply are throwing words on a letter that absolutely makes no sense. And this really, really, really happens. For instance, I just saw a letter from the quote unquote IRS Frivolous Return Office. This is an office that's only about 2 years old. They made a claim against a member that she made a frivolous return, but she made no returns. She had been out since 2021, and they didn't specify the return year, so that's a weird little— so that's a weird letter to begin with. And they claimed she is to file for the years listed above, but there were no years listed above. They had an employee number on the phone that she never used. It wasn't related to her in any way. It wasn't her EIN, it wasn't her TIN, it wasn't her Social. So the letter was literally shit made up, and they will do that to try to scare you back into contract. A letter of fiction requires no response. You can find everything I talk about at LegalFockerUniversity.com. Follow and subscribe for more.
