The content likely involves a lecture or commentary related to Neville Goddard's teachings on law, storytelling, and visualization techniques. There is no indication of multiple speakers or conversational dialogue involving Gilbert Anaya.
Neville Goddard 1965 lectures Law Storytelling Picture Taking February 16, 1965 Second in a three part series on the law for his friend. Tonight, as I told you recently, is for my friend, excuse me, Neville, who is taking flight and she wants the law. So this will be on the law. All things exist in the human imagination. And by all things I mean it literally, all things, all that we behold, though it appears without it, is within in your imagination, of which this world of mortality is but a shadow. Blake, Jerusalem plate 71. If you could now think of your imagination as the most sensitive instrument in the world and compare it, say, to a piano. You can't conceive of a tone or a combination of tones that it could not express. And so you can imagine, so you own the instrument, it's your very self. But if you owned the most wonderful piano in the world, it wouldn't mean you could play it, not play it really intelligently. You would have to find out some wonderful method and then practice. So here is this wonderful instrument which is your imagination, and so you own it. And that instrument is God. God actually became man, that man may become God. So we can't think of God as even near. For nearness applies separation. Let's break that sentence down. So we can't think of God as even near. For nearness implies separation. If you think God's near you, that means you think he's on the outside. This is the problem that implies nearness implies separation. If you think he's near or you're near him, or if you do enough Hail Marys, or if you do enough getting down on your knees before bed, if you do enough of this, that and the other, you think he's going to be closer or you're going to be closer to him or to each other. That is not how this works. He's already here. He's already home. He made you in his image so that you would and could wake up and realize, oh, you're him. Oh, you've been my imagination this whole time. Oh, you mean I've been doing this unwittingly this whole time, creating my own reality through my imagination? Unwittingly? What? Yes, it is a red pill. I promise at first it's not an easy red pill to swallow. You remember those supplement packs? They used to come with like 15 vitamins or 10 vitamins and one little plastic pouch. And this was when I was in the navy. We used to buy those supplements. You know, you had your vitamin E, you had a vitamin C in there, you had Your vitamin D, you had all the vitamins in this one pack and then they were supposed to be whatever. I remember having to swallow that. There was a bravery to it. You had to take the whole handful and just take a big swig of water. That was one method. Or you took a couple at a time because they were just like. Some of them were horse pills. So you had to take at least one or two separate and do those with a drink of water, just depending on how you felt. But this red pill, known as your imagination, create your reality, must be dealt with. There's the blue pill, but then you wouldn't be here. But the red pill. The idea that imagining creates reality is the red pill. And we're referring to the Matrix, in case you haven't seen it. If you haven't, stop this. Go watch that and then come back. God actually became man, that man may become God. So we can't think of God as even near. For nearness implies separation. It's not separation. There is no difference between divine imagining and human imagining, save in the degree of intensity of the two. When you and I are born anew, it means an expansion of the same power which is imagining. And we rise to higher and higher and higher levels. On this level, it is the same power, but it's keeping heed low. So here, when I speak of God, I'm speaking of your own wonderful human imagination. Now we can put it to the test, actually test it. Come test me and see. That's what we're invited to do in Scripture, 2nd Corinthians 13:5. Remember, keed low is a term referring to. We think it takes actual time between when we imagine as ourself the man or woman we want to be, and then when we become it, we think there's a space of time. So to our illusion, the one we're creating called this, Everything is you pushed out. HE PLAYS ALL the parts. You're watching this on the screen of your life. It's a screen in space. It's yukid lo means when you enter the new age, you imagine it is after that awakening, as we revealed in the last lecture, or one before that, after the birth from above, the blowout of the back of your head, then everything takes a strange turn. As we talked about, these events get quicker and quicker. Imagining for others. When you know you can imagine for others and you see it coming true, you're already there. When you're hearing them tell you on the phone exactly what you imagine lovingly for them verbatim, you're Already there. The power and the new age is already upon you. Literally, you're already at the party. Hang out, you want a drink, Have a drink, come test me and see. That's what we're invited to do in Scripture. So I say that the actual source of all phenomena is one with imagination. Excuse me. So I say that the actual source of all phenomena is one with imagining that is active in you and me. There is no other origin for phenomena in this world. Now, let me share with you one story that was given to me this week, rather a couple weeks ago. This friend who is here tonight, he said, I've known this man. I'll call him Pat. I've known him for about six months. He's general manager of an auto supply firm. I also know his boss. I've known him for about four years. A very difficult man. So let us call him, say, Mike. Pat and Mike. All right? One day, in fact, the day was the 5th of. The 5th day of December of last year, I stopped into this firm and chatted with my friend Pat. Talking with him, I discovered he would like to buy the firm, but he had no money. So I explained this principle of imagining to him. I said, forget that means. Excuse me. Forget the means, forget the money. And if you really want to own your own firm, this is what I would do were I you. Tonight when I go to sleep, I would make a certain drama. I love how he couched it. He didn't go shouldn't all over him. You know that phrase, should, let's don't should on each other. This is what you should do. I love the way he phrased it. This is what I would do were I you. Very good couching. Tonight when I go to sleep, I would make a certain drama. Take people who sincerely love you, your wife, your children. And I think I love. Excuse me. Take people who sincerely love you, your wife, your children, and I think I love you. So include me if you want to use me, but make a scene, which scene, if true, would imply the fulfillment of your desire that you own this auto supply company. Now, this is how it works. But you must, above all things, when you carry on in this, when you carry on this inner conversation with those who will be sincerely thrilled because of your successful transaction in closing the deal to own this thing, but also in the successful running of it, the operation of it, you must capture the fear feeling. Feeling truly is the secret. You must feel the reality of what you're doing. And this was December 5th. On January 5th, one month later, I received in my mail, an advertising letter announcing the new owner of this firm. It was not that particular auto supply company. It was. It was another. And he was the owner of this auto supply company. So I stopped in to see him as a friend to congratulate him. And this is what he told me. A man came in who owned an auto supply company. And in the course of conversation he let it be known that he would like to dispose of some of his properties. He has many parcels and one was an auto supply company. What a coincidence. Well then, because of my interest, I simply perked up and I told him of my interest in owning my own company, but that I had no money. He said that you don't need money. You can just take possession of this company. We'll sign the papers and you pay me out of profits. You be the owner and you will pay me out of profits. We received the announcement in the mail of the new ownership of this company. A man who heard on December 5th how to operate God's law. And by January 5th, one month later, he has successfully closed the deal for his own company by the sheer operation of the law. So I say imagining contains the whole. All things are contained in the human imagination. Now, how could I do it? Well, try it in this way. Bring before your mind's eye anyone in the world, in this world or any combination. And then listen to them tell you a story. A wonderful story. You listen carefully as they unfold the story. And you become excited. Just as though you're hearing the most wonderful story. And when you reach a certain point, which is the climax of the story, take a deep inhalation and feel thrilled all over. This is how you do it, okay? That simple. You reach a certain climax of that story. Remember, the story is about you. It doesn't really matter after that. It could be about your friend. It could be about your lover. It could be about your partner, your spouse. It doesn't matter who it is about. Get that climax to a build in that story. And then feel the thrill. And then inhale. Very difficult to do. But this is Neville's VIP instructions. It doesn't really matter after that. It's like taking a picture. Life develops it. Then life has a strange way of developing that picture. And you will see a negative in the solution. It's an acid solution and it burns it. It has to be burnt. And then you take it out and you dry it and you have your pitcher. So life actually is just like that. As we are told. He whom he hurts and afflicts for secret Ends he comforts and heals and calls them friends. Whoa, that's a beautiful, beautiful sentence. If you don't remember or if you weren't there, then, excuse me. Developing film, if anybody hasn't had the pleasure of this whole concept. In high school for me, in 10th grade, we had a photography class. Very first class of tenth grade, very first semester. We got to take pictures very slowly with little homemade boxes. You put a hole in the end, an exposure goes onto a film. We would take the film, we would develop it in solution, in dark. And then in that same period of high school for me, 10th, 11th, and 12th, I was in graphic arts, which is where you take negatives, you take a picture of an image and you burn it onto a plate. But we did a lot of things in that dark room where you had to develop these plates. And the plates were developed on the outside with the solution. But the other images we would take, we would have to photograph things and take them into the dark room. We'd have to go into this room where you put them in these trays, into these solutions. That whole process is a way of developing film. Hands on. This is what you do to develop it. You take it in the bath of this. It turns, it starts to form the image. You take it over here. That slows it down. It stops it from doing the process in the acidic solution here. Slows it down over here, or stops it, or another solution. Then you hang it up. And that's what you see when you see movies. The actual image on a piece of paper that was developed. It's a very good analogy to show how the inhalation, the climax of the imagining, using your imagination, lovingly bringing it to a climax of the event. Big inhalation. You just snapped the picture. Now life will just go ahead and literally develop it for you. It becomes a picture on your screen of space. I'm looking up, but it's all outside of you. Whatever you consciously focus upon, you're going to cast that image because that's what you're literally taking a snapshot of in your consciousness. Then it projects like film. This is the film. All of this is the film. So you want to change what's on the film. Practice what he just said. Love this thing. As we are told, he whom he hurts and afflicts for secret ends, he comforts and heals and calls them friends. Wow, what a delicious sentence. Learn how to play this wonderful role. All things are contained in the human imagination. But all things, not a thing outside of your. Excuse me, not A thing outside of your imagination. Try this very moment to think of something in this world of ours that is part of the affairs of man, that wasn't first imagined anything. All of it, you have to admit, was first imagined anything. A building, a missile, a bomb, a war, armies. I'm going down the negative there, but appear at the beach. Waves. Waves are, you know. You know what's interesting about sort of surfing is that last time I was surfing, I was thinking about my friend. I was surfing with Jeff. And I was trying to transmit to him the idea that these waves aren't out there. These waves are coming from our consciousness. I really couldn't tell him that, but it is an aspect of the whole thing because that is also imagined. If you go to the beach and it's reportedly going to be big waves and you go out there and you catch some big juicy waves and they're nice and they're perfect shape and you write them and you have a good time. They're coming from you, not at you. It's a very interesting concept. It is all imagined. And when he says, try to think of something this very moment in this world of ours that is part of the affairs of man, that wasn't first imagined, he's hitting the nail right on the head. You may say, well, a tree wasn't. Well, now on a higher level, it was on our level. Automobiles, clothes, chairs, buildings. On our level. Then he said, go to another level, the animals. Then we go to another level. The plant world, another level, the mineral world. Remember, we're bringing together those three concepts that aren't talked about so often anymore. I think I mentioned them in the last lecture. Animal, vegetable, mineral. I did about the house construction. Animal, us, vegetable, plant life, which is what builds your house. The abode you're in is the plant, animal, vegetable. It's the vegetable world. What do we eat? We're an animal that eats vegetable and another animal. Maybe you're eating a cow, maybe you're having a steak. A wonderful juicy steak. Well, that's animal, animal, but this vegetable also, because the vegetable fed the cow, it's a ruminant beast. It literally eats the vegetable and converts it into fatty acid. And then that animal becomes a fat and protein giving life source for us. But it was the plant. In addition, take it over to the mineral. It's just hitting me in the head. I might as well complete it. The mineral is what's in the ground and the earth, which gives life, which actually comes into the plant life. The reason an elephant will travel Hundreds of miles and uproot a tree to get to the salt. Minerals under that tree is proof of this concept. When a tree burns and the ash that's left is the minerals of the tree. I've said this before. You put yourself into a crematorium when you're done with that garment, and it's going to be minerals sitting there. That's what goes into an urn is your minerals. Is he worth his salt? I love it. In the movie Snatch, the character, you know, Turkish, is Jason Statham. But the other character, the one that's his kind of secondhand man, right hand man, he's the one that's in the arcade with the gun, and those other guys are the bad guys, and they're ruining the arcade. And he comes in, points a gun at him, and tells Jason Statham's character to get off the floor. Turkish tells him, get off the floor. And then they advance towards him and he goes, what, you don't think I got the minerals? The minerals isn't referring to the gonads. The minerals are referring to the. The minerals are what is. There's such a deep part here, but it's just wonderful how the concept of minerals is a fulfilling concept. It helps this. This thing in there, this imagineer, it helps it be complete. It's part of the animal, vegetable, mineral world. Now, I am healthy is enough to suffice that you will be attracted to the minerals, you'll be attracted to the vegetables, you'll be attracted to the beast that ate the vegetables that's full of the minerals. When I am healthy, it trumps anything you can go do and shop for specific things. When you say I am healthy, it magnetically pulls you towards that which is the right fuel for your health. So we ain't got to worry about nitpicking things. But I just like the process of this whole thing. The mineral goes into the vegetable, the vegetable goes into the beast. Let's say it's the cow, or if you're a vegetarian, that's fine. You're eating the minerals through the vegetable. The only thing you're missing is the protein there. But that's another story. You get the mineral into the vegetable, vegetable into the beast, or into you. But you have that coming into the animal, which is you. It's very fascinating, and it isn't talked about as much anymore. I remember seeing it on game shows when I was a very little kid. Animal, vegetable, mineral. And they would, you know, it was part of this one, part of a game show. And I Forget the game show, but it's a very interesting idea. As he says, the plant world on our level. Automobiles, clothes, chairs, buildings on our level. Then he said, go to another level. The animals, then we go to. That's us. Then we go to another level. Or cows and sheep and everything else. Or dog or cat. Then we go to another level, the plant world, another level, the mineral world. But may I tell you, on higher levels, they too were first imagined. On our level, we are learning and trying to experiment. And so this building first had to be imagined. The flag had to be imagined. The suit that I wear. Everything in this world that is related to man had first to be imagined by man. Before it could be brought into this visible world of ours. And so all the other kingdoms, the plant kingdom, the animal kingdom, the mineral kingdom, they too had to be first imagined on a higher level. You are that being. You are moving towards that being, to be one with it. Because you are one with it now anyway. But you are keyed low for educative purposes. And so, just as this chap, in one simple moment had no money, he only had a desire. God, who is your own wonderful human imagination. Speaks to yourself through the medium of desire. He desired to own his own automobile supply area. He wanted his own auto supply shop. Supply shop, but no money. Now, the man who he worked for. And my friends know both of them. And my friend knows both of them. And he tells me the owner of that shop was the most difficult person to deal with. He had meetings with both of them, but he didn't talk to the owner. He talked to the one who wanted to own it. Excuse me. What he really wanted was to own his own auto shop. He knew these auto supply things, so he wanted it. Well, he got it. A man comes in and in the conversation reveals he would like to unload this parcel. He had so many pieces of property, and this he would like to unload. And made it possible by saying to him, it's yours, will sign the papers and you simply pay me out of profits. I can multiply this kind of a story by the thousands if you will actually believe it. Exclamation point. Believe you have received it and you will. Faith is the only fuel. And the day will come that you will simply find that everything in scripture is true. The law is all there, but man doesn't see it. Our ministers are not telling it. As Lord Lindsay, who is the master of Blank Space College of Oxford, he said to a group of ministers one day, he said, you ministers are making a mistake in Your pulpits. You are arguing for Christianity. No one wants your arguments. You ought to be witnessing. Does this thing work? Then share it with the rest of us. Don't give us all this business of the arguments for Christ. Share it with us. Does it work? Well then share it with us. Let us prove it in performance. My wife here recently. Excuse me. My wife here recently gave me as a little joke on Valentine's Day a little book called the Gospel according to Peter. Well, in this little paperback book, Peanuts is making the statement and you listen to it carefully. The church is the greatest non profit organization in the world. But spells prophet. P R P. Excuse me? P R O P H E T. There is no voice of God from the pulpits of the world. None whatsoever. They will take one little passage of scripture and never refer to it, quote a little passage and then talk about the president or Vietnam about some other thing on this level. Not a thing to do with interpreting the word of God. There's a lot just said. Now we go back to the word of God, the book of Nehemiah, the eighth chapter, the eighth verse. By the way, let me just interject this. Have we heard of Neville talking about anything but the word of God in the most literal sense? We can take it. He's only ever talking about the Word of God. Only ever ever talking about the word of God. I don't even know how many Bible scripture quotes are in each of these lectures, but there are many. And he's doing it all by memory. He studied seven plus hours a day, every single day. The Bible and his book by Blake, Jerusalem. The book by Blake, Jerusalem. What are you passionate about? It should be your only focus. Just like Neville was the Bible and Blake's Jerusalem, whatever. You have already gone into your silence and you have a desire to do. It should be your only focus. Shut off your. You know what history. You might be watching this through that medium. Shut off that history. Let it be a place where you only go to learn a certain thing because it's getting you closer to your desire, the fulfillment of you becoming the man or woman you really want to be. Whatever is bringing you closer and like a magnet to that, that's all you should search for and all you should watch. Have you tried that? Now we go back to the word of God, the book of Nehemiah, the eighth chapter, eighth verse. And they read from the book, from the law of God. Clearly with understanding. They gave the sense so that the people understand. Understood the reading. So they take the law and explain it. That's the purpose of the book. Exclamation point. If God is sent into this world, he sent only to teach the law of God. That's all he's sent to do. He's told to go and tell them of the law of God and the promise of God. And they repeat it forever and forever. Tell them of the promise. What is the promise? That God is going to give you His Son. Not as a companion. He's going to give you his son as your son. If he gives you his son as your Son, he gave you Himself. For if you are the Father of the Son of God, then you, you are God. It's God's purpose to give Himself to man and to give it so thoroughly that there's no other in the world. Just you and God. And because he gave Himself to you, just you and you are He. That's the story. That's his promise. Let them wait in hope. But now to comfort them while they wait, tell them of God's law and explain all about the law. It's a simple law based purely on belief. Whatever you desire in this world, believe you have received and you will. Mark 11:24. Now I have found this simple technique. Honestly, it's so simple I feel I'm taking pictures. That's all that I do. You ask something of me. I don't know a thing in this world about the human body. If you bought me a bone, I couldn't tell you if it came from the foot. If you brought me a bone, I couldn't tell you if it came from the floor, from the foot or the hand, I wouldn't know. I know nothing of the human body. I don't know how it operates. I know nothing of diet. I try to satisfy a hunger. One day I might want fish. I want fish. Don't tell me about meat. Next day I want meat, whether it's Good Friday or not. By the way, fish in the ocean is swimming in minerals. How do you get away from the concept, man? Just fascinating. Next day I want meat, whether it's Good Friday or not. And so I satisfy hungers that way. Well, now you have a hunger. So you come to me to ask me. I think I know the law. To satisfy or aid you in the satisfaction of your hunger. So you name something and you want. Just like my friend. He went into this shop and he found a man who had a hunger to own his own business. That's a hunger. Remember, life is only the satiation of hunger. That's all this is. I'm quoting Neville. There he doesn't say satiation, he says it another way, but that's the same point. Now all you do is this. You meet someone, don't wait until tomorrow to do it. Right at that very moment, as they depart from you, let them go on their way. And if they ask you, what must I do? Do nothing. They're not taking the picture, I'm taking the picture of them. All things exist in my imagination. So I can't ask them to cooperate. It's a huge, huge point. Especially if anybody loves shooting on others. Don't should on anybody. Take your own picture. If I ask them to cooperate with me, I'm sort of shifting the weight and preparing a little cushion in the event of failure, which would create the failure. Then I could say you didn't do your part. I don't need them. Let them get out of my sight. I know what they look like, I know what they sound like. It's very simple. And then bring them into my mind's eye and animate them. Here's a sample I can't get out of the old noodle. Go to the Elmer videos, Elmer o' Locker, the grandfather videos. The two videos on the son, the grandson's channel, known as Elmer O. Lacker, giving him some good press these days. He stated that he slept with women most oftentimes, different women, up to three times a day. Now the man, if you've done your research, your homework, he owned a VIP club of which Neville Goddard was actually a member. It was a VIP gentleman's club. And in that gentleman's club was stripping. And I think it was all. It was 100% nudity, I believe because the grandfather, Elmer O. Locker Jr. That's the grandfather's name, he ran the establishment. But, but he also. And he used the law, okay, Very, very. He became very, very good at it. He proved out a lot of things, but he used the law. And he was able to skirt the law, literal law of the state of California or the feds. I don't know where this goes, but if you have an all nudity establishment then you couldn't serve hard alcohol or booze in general. But he was able to get around that again using his own wonderful human imagination. But back to the point, he would use what Neville's describing right here. He would use the law. And this is how he would bed these women. Nothing's right or wrong. There's no judgments here. This is just what he did. And he would be able to see the gal, see her image, hear her voice. Then he Would translate that in his use of the Law, what he became very good at. And he would see that then they would have. They would be in coitus. So in that video, he's bragging about that he would have sex at least three times a day, all the time. Or that it was very exciting to then not, you know, a new conquest was very exciting to him. Or that he would return to an old conquest at a certain amount of time. Hey, God's playing all the parts. There's no judgment here. But this is how good he got at the law. And admitted by David on that channel is. He says he must have received a million requests, at least from guys or mostly. I'm sure it's mostly guys asking more detail of how he pulled it off. Well, if you're here, this is how Elmer O. Locker Jr. The grandfather of David, pulled it off. Right here. This is literally the detail Neville's giving it. Here it is. If I ask someone to cooperate with me, I'm sort of shifting the weight and preparing a little cushion in the event of failure. Then I could say, you didn't do your part. I don't need them. This is where it starts. Let them get out of my sight. I know what they look like, I know what they sound like. And then bring them into my mind's eye and animate them. You would imagine the event. Have them all animated. If I need another one to come with them, if I need six more or some other thing, another person. All right, bring it all in and set it up as you would set it up in a studio. You're going to take a picture and then let the whole thing become animated. Just as you get it all animated. They're all telling this wonderful story concerning the fulfillment of the desire. This is the end. You always go to the end. Then as you become more and more excited, one deep inhalation and may I tell you, every atom of the body expand explodes. That's the picture cast onto the negative. You can try it right now. We're going to go that well. He's going to say it right here. Always doing this with Neville. You can try it right now or try it. When you go into the silence. You can't stop it. You get excited and suddenly everything explodes. It's really a creative act. It doesn't have the physical effect here. There is no physical evidence there was a creative act. But it's the same sensation only every atom of your body explodes. The whole thing explodes. Then, as he said to this man in the store, as he was teaching them how to operate this wonderful, sensitive instrument. He said, should you, tomorrow or in the interval between now, this night and you do it, and the fulfillment of it, should one little doubt into your mind do this, just remember, I experienced it. I experienced ownership. So I don't care if at this very moment something denies it. I experienced it. And therefore that little doubt will go to sleep. You got to love it. That's how you deal with the doubt. If some little thing comes in the interval to disturb you, remember you've experienced it. This is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very strong point. Doubt is a sneaky little devil. Doubt is a sneaky little devil. Put him to sleep. Affirm. I've experienced it. Get out of the way. I've experienced it. Once you take that picture, you've experienced it. You've cast it already. So when doubt tries to creep in, go try that somewhere else. You took the picture. Well, then life develops it. Life is the acid, and life develops it. Then the whole thing becomes externalized in no way that you could ever have devised. How could he have devised the means that a man, an honest man, a decent man who was a businessman, would say to him, well, pay me out of profits. What sort of business is that? Pay me out of profits. And yet that is exactly how it was consummated. He bought it only on faith, only on his own honesty. So this is the simple, simple law that I'm trying to get over to all. But to my friend who departs a week from today on this very long tour. London, Russia, Tokyo, Formosa and other areas. Let her tell this story to everyone who will listen to it. That imagining creates reality. That's basic. But you've got to know how to do it. I could own the most glorious, the most sensitive violin in the world. Give it to me. I could take it to a dealer and he'd say, you know what you have here? And he could give me some name that I don't even understand and say to me, you know what? Well, that's worth $500,000. So I have it. All I have is $500,000. I can't get one note out of it. And so you have something far more sensitive. You have God, the world's greatest in the world creative instrument. So blank space because it's you. He became you. Your own wonderful human imagination. But you've got to learn to play it. And you make unnumbered mistakes. Just as a child playing a violin. And you put your fingers in your ears to stop the sound coming from it. But he is learning how to play. Well, you and I make mistakes. We become violent. We become thieves. We become this, become the other. All by imagining. The terror that confronts man today is simply man. It isn't Russia. It's his own conception of himself that is the terror. My conception of myself is the thing that terrifies me. What is it? I'm a little man, unwanted, unschooled. Is that my concept of myself? Well, it terrifies me because if it is my concept of myself, everything in this world reflects it and runs at me to bear witness to my own concept of myself. But if I know that all things are within me and I could, by changing my conception of myself, change the world in which I live. Well, let me try it. William James. Don't forget about the wonderful book called the Worldview of William James by Jane Roberts. She channeled William James after he left this garment behind, no doubt. I don't know if he's on the wheel of recurrence or resurrection. Either way, she channeled his communique from after he was using the garment called William James. Wonderful book. The Worldview of William James by Jane Roberts. I highly recommend reading that. Or the Worldview of Rembrandt. She channeled Rembrandt, and he wrote a book through her. The best one of the three is the Worldview of Paul Cezanne, the painter. That, to me, is the best of the three. I haven't even read the Rembrandt one yet, but I just. I got into it and I didn't get into it. Paul Cezanne one is amazing. Incredible. Just the description of the painting of fruit alone or brushstrokes. Unreal depth. Back to William James. William James, one of our greatest educators at Harvard University. He made the statement that the greatest revolution in my generation was the discovery that man, by changing the inner attitudes of his mind, could change the outer aspects of his life. Well, here's the great William James. Well, that was told us in scripture in a very simple manner. But William James, this brilliant philosopher, great, great man, great educator, and he took all these things. You. You might have read one of his books. A Variety of Religious Experiences. It's really worthwhile rereading because he took all these cases, these strange experiences. It was he who said that the mother seed and the great function of all true religions begin in the mystical experiences of the individual. That all theologies, all ecclesiasticisms are secondary growths superimposed. That these great experiences that give birth to true religions come from the depths of the soul belong to a region that is deeper and far more real and vital than that which is the which the intellect inhabits. Because of this, they remain forever secure from all intellectual arguments and criticisms. That is the great William James. Seth called him a speaker. And again, if you haven't heard that, my description of that on the previous video, Seth describes that there are nine families of consciousness. The speakers are one of the nine families of consciousness which most people attracted to the Seth material or attracted to this material are typically from that family of consciousness. The people who are enthusiastic, they're like a rolling stone that gathers no mas. They like going from one thing to the other. Those are the speakers. William James was one. He described that. And most of us who are attracted to this material or the Seth material are also speakers. The entire ESP class were all speakers. All the people that attended those ESP sessions with Jane Roberts. Back to Neville. Well, when he made the statement that here the greatest revolution in his generation was the discovery that man, by changing the inner attitudes of his mind, could change the outer aspects of his life. Comes right back to that simple little verse. Whatever you desire, when you pray, believe you have received it and you will. Mark 11:24. Again, I got to interject here also. I am noticing through my evolution of this Neville depth. We are in the depths. We have the diving bell suit on right now. We are down deep. I am noticing in the evolution of this within myself that everything comes back and reconciles in Scripture because Neville's teaching me that that's on another level than what we're talking about on this level. Reading these lectures on another level, I'm realizing that the actual reconciliation is happening, that all of this drama is reconciling to Scripture in each of its own wonderful ways. I was realizing that in the shower today. I was like, man, oh man. It's just. It all seems to magnetically be pulling back to where it's so sources from. That one little phrase is all of William James thesis on the idea that's a reconciliation too. But Neville's given us the obvious proof of it. Well, what do you know? The word to pray, both in Hebrew and in Greek, if you look it up in your Biblical concordance is defined as motion towards accession to nearness at, at or in the vicinity of. That's what it is. So I stand here and now it's motion towards motion towards ownership of that auto supply. Well, if I could really get near enough so that I could get a session to, I would slap. I would. I Would sleep this night in the consciousness of ownership, wouldn't I? As I get nearer and nearer and nearer to it. It's like a motion with one's being. If this night I would go to New York City and time would not allow it, my commitments would not allow it. Oh, thousands of things could stand in the way. But I still want to go. What I should do, I should this night assume as I go to bed. Assume that I'm sleeping in my hotel room in New York City. And then view the world full from New York City. Just see the world as I would see it were it true. When I think of Los Angeles, I could see it around me here as I would tonight when I sleep. I must see it 3,000 miles to the west of me. Well, if I fall asleep in that state, I have prayed for prayer. To pray is to move towards accession to nearness. At, at or in the vicinity of. If I want to go to New York City, let me get as close as I can until finally I can get right into it. As I get into it. Then think of the world for confirmation. Motion cannot be determined except by a change of position relative to some other state. If I move from here to the end of the room without some fixed frame of reference against which I move, I wouldn't know I moved. I would have no way of knowing that I move at all. There must be some frame of reference. Well, this is a frame. The world is a frame. It remains fixed relative to me, the pilgrim who moves. So I move from poverty to security or from illness to health. And so there's a frame of reference. And my world will reflect that motion that I make. And this is praying. Excuse me. I'm taking some note. I'm about to make a video on all of Neville's terms. So everyone in this world contains within himself all that it takes to become what he wants to be in this world. For all things are contained in the human imagination, and that is God. So God actually became man. That man may become God. Don't think of him on the outside. He can't be even near. If God actually became me, he cannot be near. For nearness implies separation. Can't even be near. So listen to these words from the Book of John. You will die in your sins unless you believe that I am he. 8:24. This is not a man talking to others. This dream takes place in the individual. I am saying to myself, you don't believe in Neville. Well, then stay and stew. You will stew in your limitations and therefore miss your mark. Life. Excuse me. You will stew in your limitations. Therefore miss your mark in life which is sinning. For to sin is to miss the mark. You miss the mark and go on forever missing the mark. Unless you believe that I am he. It will overwhelm your being. But again, you can adopt the state by simply go into your closet. Shut the door. Couple deep breaths. I am. I am God. I am He. When you see me, you see the Father who sent me. You adopt it. He, what am? That which I would be. I desire to be other than what I am. I've got to believe I am it. And unless you do, then you sin. Believe I am it. The man, woman you want to be. But you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. My teacher told me that a million times. Man, I swear at least a thousand or two. I don't even know so many times. But you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. Well, what is truth? We say a true judgment must conform to the external facts to which it relates. I say that isn't true at all. Truth depends upon the intensity of imagining, not upon facts. The man had no external fact to support his imaginal claim that he owned a shop. None. But he actually believed he owned it and slept in that assumption. So truth does not confine itself to the external reality to which my judgment relates. It isn't so at all. You can simply know what you want. Don't ask how you're going to get it. Assume that you are it. And if you can become self persuaded that you are that which you've assumed that you are in a way that no one knows, it becomes externalized in your world. This is God's law and it's God in operation. Because your own wonderful human imagination is God. So an imaginal act is God in action. I bring up the Seth material so often because in those classes it was the same thing. We sat in the room. My teacher, Sylvia, Beth, Ken, myself. And all we did was we read through the sessions. I was doing the reading and then I would stop and do. Just like I'm doing with you now. And we just break it down as we went. And after a while you start to realize there's a theme going on here. Seth is saying the same thing over and over and over in 50,000 different ways. He's coming at the same statement. You create your own reality. Neville's doing the same thing. God is you. He became you so that you'd become God. In reading this far, we've got Eight years to go. Remember, he's definitely repeating the point for a very special reason. He's coming at it from all these angles and all these examples and all these anecdotes and stories and letters to show us from every single possible angle. This is the facts, Jack. But God creates not only by the imaginal act, he mixes it with faith. Very, very, very important point. I was making some shorts recently and I sent the short to human imagination. Shout out. I appreciate the conversation we're having. And. And I forget which lecture it was. It was in the Power of Awareness. I think it's the chapter on faith I believe. And in that chapter, Neville is describing that if you're failing at manifesting for yourself in the concept in the conversation with human imagination. And I've had it myself, so I know this conversation. I know it real well. Seems like I can imagine well for others all the time, and it snaps true. But when I do it for myself, it doesn't seem like anything's happening. And it has a lot to do with faith. It's the main reason Neville says. And he says it so slyly and so quickly in that chapter, the Power of Awareness chapter on faith. I forget the number this sentence. But God creates not only by the imaginal act, he mixes it with faith. Faith. Faith to me becomes the concept of the fuel. You're the engine. Using your imagination is God in action, but the faith is the fuel. You actually give it. That's the necessary component that comes from you. God's there. He's your imagination. He's ready. He's like, ready? What's the drama gonna be now? He's like, come on, what are we going to do? It's your faith that puts you in action with your imagination. It's what casts that photograph image onto your screen of space. Faith. Faith is the acid when you take the picture that develops it. Imagination and faith are the stuff out of which man creates his world. So it has to be blended with faith that only can come from you, that doesn't come from without. And it doesn't come just because you're using your imagination. It comes from you. I'm probably stepping on Neville's feet here. I will continue. I must believe in the reality of my imaginal act, remain faithful, loyal to that unseen reality just as though it were true. Here's an example. I've been practicing with an intersection by my house several videos ago. If you're keeping score at home, you've heard the story, but basically there's a Way I go to my grocery store, one is down the main boulevard here or one is down at the end of the. I live in the middle of the block. Basically I go this way, go to the main street or go this way, go to the side streets that have dips and stop signs and whatever. One stop sign. So I go over here, go through all, get to the stop sign. I've been practicing with faith and imagination that each time, every single time I hit that intersection, it's my turn to go. It's a four way stop sign. So I just play with the idea. Every time I come to this intersection, it doesn't matter what it is, I. A car could be just leaving or several cars could be just changing and it's my turn. Or mostly I imagine that there's no cars at that intersection when I arrive. I have no qualms with the four way stops. By the way, my wife does. My wife doesn't like left turns across traffic, she likes right turns. It's no big deal. But I practice with faith and imagination that when I come to that intersection, it's my turn. It's ready. There's no one there. It's always an easy, breezy continuous drive from there because it's my turn every time I put faith in it, what happens now? Every single time I hit that intersection, like imagining creates reality. It is exactly what I imagined. It's no cars there or it's exactly my turn to go because one car was there and it took off before I arrived at my full stop. I'm playing with imagination, but I'm using faith. I'm fueling that with faith. Remember that story about the car pulling out? I was going down to eat at the restaurant and I saw the car, two cars were in front at the light. My imagination was that I'm going to sit at the window of this establishment and look at my car right in front of. So where that spot is, I imagine as far away as I am that there's a car with a right blinker on which would signify this guy's waiting for a car to back out. Well, the car couldn't back out because of the two cars at the light. It's a T bone intersection, so you got to go left or right. So this car back here has his right blinker on. So I'm thinking, oh no, he's going to take the parking spot that I saw myself seeing at the window eating at that restaurant. But I remind myself, keep the faith. So I went in my imagination. I'm Driving, my eyes are open. I went in my imagination and I kept seeing my car. I kept seeing my car as I'm driving. I ignored what I was seeing down the street, and I'm just looking at the businesses, and I kept imagining I'm sitting right there looking at my car. Light turns green. Those two cars that were kind of blocking the situation, they take off and turn their directions. Well, the car with the right blinker on, he let the car pull out because it was just that thing to do at the moment. The car took off, went to the light, did his thing. The guy with the right blinker on, he went to the light and made a right. I was the next car in line. I pulled into the spot that I imagined I would park in. Actually literally one spot from the spot I imagined, but it was still. There was two spots in front where I could sit at the window. Boom, boom. Instead of this spot, I went to that spot. Faith. Driving down the street, I kept the faith. It literally, it must be understood for what it is. It is the acid that will develop your picture onto your screen of space. Now, if you really believe that your imagination is God and believe implicitly in God, you can go from here to goal after goal after goal. Just try it. And may I tell you, share with me your experiences, just as my friend shared with me this experience, so that I in turn, may tell you from this platform and encourage everyone to go on from whatever they are to where they want to be. I could tell you unnumbered stories and repeat the thousands. I've already told you the thousand. I already told you. But why bring in new ones? By taking this simple, simple technique and trying it as you try, as you try it, it will work. It will prove itself in performance. No. Power, consumer. Stop it. So here, this is God's simple, simple, wonderful law. So when you read scripture, most of it will be on the law. Great promises are made, but most of it is simply law. It's all conditional. It's called in one book, repentance. That's simply conditioned states. Repentance is a radical change of attitude toward life, towards life. And God repented that he promised the good, and then God repented and he promised the evil. As they change, he had to change. It's the same being. He's only reflecting himself, as told us in the 18th chapter of the book of Jeremiah. And the word of the Lord came, came to me and said, go down to the potter's house, and there I will let you hear my word. So I went down to the potter's house. And there he was working at his wheel. The vessel that he held in his hand was spoiled, but he reworked it into another vessel as it seemed good to the potter to do. Verse 1. Well, the word translated potter in Hebrew is imagination. So I went down to the imagination's house. Well, what imaginations? House. I turned my attention inwardly and thought on self and found what I was imagining. But I was thinking of a friend of mine. He wasn't well, well, that's the marred vessel I am fashioning. A vessel of a friend. That's not a nice picture. Don't discard it. Take the same vessel and reshape it into another vessel as it seemed good to you to do. Never discard anyone. You don't have to. So just as you think of someone and you feel sorry for him, well, why feel sorry for him? Take the same one and so reshape it that you feel happy for him. I know in our language we have so few words to express rejoicing with those who have great joy in the world, and so many words to feel sorry for those who are in pain. Compassion, Sympathy. Pain. If I use the word empathy, there isn't one person in a million who would know what I'm talking about. It's a word. It's in the dictionary. But have you ever heard of anyone actually saving. Excuse me? Have you ever heard of anyone actually saying saving literature? Yes, but can you put it in a book and the average person reading it runs to the dictionary for the very simple reason he doesn't practice it. Empathy. So you empathize. And they say he does what? He empathizes. And so he goes to the dictionary to find out what he is doing. Because we don't really empathize. We don't rejoice with those who rejoice, but let something be wrong with something. Oh, I'll run right over and meet with them. Because it's happened to him, not to me. That's the attitude towards life. As my teacher would say, ridiculous or stupid. She would say that kind of thing. It would be a big story about some drama and then she would say that. So we have to start taking something entirely different out of life and rejoice with people who find something wonderful. Smiling upon them, they come into a fortune. Are you envious? Why envious? Rejoice with them. But he lost a fortune. Run right over and sympathize. He's down on my level now. Well, that's not the picture. Because all things exist in the human imagination and because they do look upon it as the most sensitive instrument in the world because it is. Learn to play it. You can, you can buy the most expensive instrument, but you've got to learn to play it, by the way, if you're keeping tight score at home. I did play the gig. It was 30 songs. It went off wonderfully. My brother in law, 60th birthday and his younger brother's 50th birthday. There's three of them, three of them and one of me. A brother in law, all brothers played the gig. It was a wonderful gig. It went wonderfully. All the songs went off without a hitch. Great, great night. Great, great gig. It was because I was talking to the drummer on the way home, Billy, and he said that he was nervous the night before, that he was going to be able to pull all this off. And I had to admit, but I didn't that well, I think I'm kind of on the edge too. But I practiced, I practiced, I practiced. What did Billy do? Practice. He practiced, he practiced. We put in the effort, the time, the energy, the dedication, the commitment. But we simply put our focus in that direction and then took action. Practiced this wonderful instrument that you have right here, right embedded within you. Takes a little bit of practice. I would say a lot, but let's just say a little to keep you motivated. It just takes a little bit of practice. Well, actually, I should say it this way. You're already doing it unwittingly. You're already using the instrument, but maybe you've got some discordant sounds out of it. Maybe you got sounds that are not in harmony coming out of that instrument. Well, it's an instrument. It takes your effort to learn how to play it in harmonious fashion. It takes your effort to practice it a little more, a little more, a little more. Watch a success. Get a parking space. Get a friend. A new friend, a new lover, a new relationship. Get some new health news. Take your minerals and your water or just drink water, for crying out loud. Drink some water. Be healthy. Just practice, practice, practice. Imagine yourself and then the magnetism of you towards the event will happen. But you have to practice the use of consciously imagining lovingly. This is a conscious effort, not an unwittingly effort, a witting conscious effort. A friend of mine, he's here tonight. He has a music shop. A little while ago someone came in and wanted a machine, a guitar. He said to him, can you play it? He said, no. He took the guitar from him and he made a few chords on it. And he said it Will take you a year to do what I've just done so casually. Oh, boy. I started playing guitar when I was 14, just to hold the chords, man. It's a good thing if you're lucky to get into music when you're younger. You have the time, effort and energy. You can commit to the practice because it's like your parents are taking care of the bills and feeding you, and so you can focus all that energy in your mind towards the concept. He took the guitar from him, made a few chords on it, and he said, this is a great sales pitch. It will take you a year to do what I've just done so casually. You shouldn't buy this. That's a negative reverse. He just applied. He could have made money on it by selling it to him, but he wouldn't sell it to him. This boy, whoever he was, thought by owning a machine, you could go right out and simply become a beetle. That was 1965, by the way. Well, maybe that was Lemmy from Motorhead, because I think that's what motivated him. Well, that was not it, so he didn't sell it. You have the greatest instrument in the world, and that is your own wonderful human imagination. Look upon it as the most sensitive instrument in the world and learn to play it, because it is an art, a great art. You must, first of all acquire a nice method. There must be a method. And then constant practice. Constant practice. This. I'm not joking. Getting ready for that gig and those 30 songs, I think I knew 20 had to learn 10 new ones, but relearned the 20. It took a lot of constant practice. My chores were stacking up that I normally haven't do because I had to constantly practice. My wife's like, what about this? Nope, can't. I can't focus on that. What about this? Nope, can't do that. Constantly practicing is what it takes. But you can also just focus, which is a practice focus, because you know it's that it is your imagination that makes it happen for you. So you can constantly be focused. You can set a timer on your watch to remind you of a time to focus on it again. So every moment of time you have the opportunity to practice, somebody needs something and you can play that tune for them. Whatever they need, you can play it for them and bring about a harmony in their world. Bring them before your mind's eye and rearrange the cord. The cord is made up now of things. You assemble things, which, if true, would imply the fulfillment of your desire for them. So you are going to assemble the notes that would make the perfect chord, the harmony. And then you breathe them in and you strike it that way. And then it externalizes itself. And you do not a thing beyond that. That's all that you do. This is the simple, simple technique of the working of God's wonderful law. Tomorrow, when you rise to higher and higher levels, which you will, the whole vast world will respond instantly to your imaginative act. For man, as God rises within him and expands within him, he finds himself in a world completely subject to his imaginal acts. They spring out of nowhere. It will not take an interval of time between the imaginal act and the fact instantly it's right there. You create your own world. And we're all moving towards that direction because we're all one. There's only one God. God became man, that man may become God. And that is literally true. Now let us go into the silence. Don't forget we're going to breathe in. We're going to see the harmony of becoming a master at manifesting consciously for ourselves. We're going to hear our friends, family and loved ones tell us congratulate us right now in this imagining. Let us go it all right. Now I could continue. What I say to you is, congratulations. Isn't it wonderful? May I call your attention to the book table? You'll find my books and books that I recommend. I mentioned a book about two weeks ago written by a friend of mine who is here tonight. Mr. Whitelaw. Life is Only a journey. As I told you then, he goes to many Speakers. This is his own, I would say, the essence of what he has gathered from the many he's been coming here over the years. He's gone to others, my old friend Dr. Bales, and all the Speakers. And from all of us, he has gathered what is his. And he has written this book and he's titled it Life is Only a Journey. Are there any questions? It's a very nice thing to know that there were many Speakers on their own platforms, at their own lecterns, doing it. I think that's wonderful. Inaudible My dear, I'd do anything. Excuse me, My dear, I'd do anything. Revise it. Because you're going to change the past anyway you will. But if you go on living fully in the joy of others, live always for others. As Job did, Job revised his past by praying for his friends. Because his present was an awful mess. He lost everything. And then Job prayed for his friends. And then his captivity was lifted. All that he had lost came back multiplied 300fold. There's a very important point. And note. In this exact situation, if you find yourself being able to imagine for others lovingly and being successful at that, but yet not for yourself, then guess where you are. Oh, the furnaces. Aren't they lovely? Do what Job did. I should say, do what Job is doing. Because it's all present. It's all active. It's active in you, as you are told in Scripture. Even those who were dead, because all were dead, they all came, came back. So nothing was dead. Not just the lambs came back and the cattle came back, but his sons and his beautiful daughters. And all these were dead. So nothing dies. It returns as he prayed. Excuse me. It returned as he prayed for his friends. So lose yourself in praying for, and you'll be amazed how the lovely things of this world will fill. Excuse me. Will fall upon you out of nowhere. Because really, in the end, there is no other. Not really. And again, think about it. What is Job's name? Job. What are you here to do? If this is your situation, I know it's mine. I'm going to admit right now, definitely Job is Job over here. But if this is you too, then this is what the job at hand is, is to be Job, imagining lovingly for others ad infinitum. All you really need to know is what people want. You can hear it in conversation. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Question Inaudible well, it may be difficult, but it has to be done and can be done. Because if you will follow this concept that Blake told us in his vision of the Last Judgment, he said, from this you will see. I do not consider the just or the wicked to be in a supreme state, but to be. Every one of them states of the sleep that the soul may fall into in its deadly dreams of good and evil. We ate the fruit of good and evil. That conscience may be born, but we're still in it, passing judgment morning, noon and night. He claims that man is free the very moment he rejects error and embraces true truth. But he defines truth as anything possible to be believed. Can you believe this lovely thing that you brought before your mind's eye? And then, all right, then you reject what you would deny. But then you reject what would deny it that you denied or that which was denied. It is to you error. He calls that Satan. To him, Satan is only the personification of doubt. Question Inaudible well, in the 41st chapter of the Book of Genesis, the doubling of the dream means that the thing has been fixed by God. And God will shortly bring it to pass. Well, God being your own wonderful human imagination. If you have dreamt it twice, it's a revelation from the depth of your soul. As I brought up the other night, that vision of mine where I found myself in spirit in this great mansion which you heard the story that I told you. Question Inaudible I absorbed the message. The question was that while standing on an empty lot, I painted a word picture for my lot as I desired it to be, not as it appeared to be. I denied appearances. Yes, I was learning a lesson. The lesson is that wise. Grandfather used to say, while standing on an empty lot. I remember when this was an empty lot. Then while standing on it, he would paint a reality as though it were true. Then I woke, wrote it out, went back to sleep and re dreamed it. But I had absorbed the lesson, so I told the story. So you can stand on an empty lot for anyone. Someone is unwell. That's an empty lot relative to health. I remember when he was sick. When you're looking at him and the doctors said he can't live. I remember when he was unwell. Well, then he can't be unwell. Now to you. And you rejoice in this state of his health. He's well. Congratulations. Neville, would you define soul to me? Soul is the animating principle of the universe. Therefore I call soul and imagination 1. Because I have had the experience of coming into a room just like this. Only it was a dining room. And arresting my own imagination. Something in me that was active as I arrested it. Everything stood still, including the bird in flight and the leaves falling and. And the grass moving. Everything stood still and they were dead. Then I released not them. I released that activity that I had arrested within myself. And as I did so, all became reanimated. So I know that the creative power of the world, the animating power of the world is my own wonderful human imagination. I call that my soul. So to me, soul and imagination are identical. It's the animating power of the world. Animates it, makes it alive. How would you explain heart? Heart. The word heart in the Bible is the word mind. They're one and the same thing, same word. As a man thinketh in his heart, a man thinketh in his mind. It's the same translation. But they thought the word heart. But you and I, the heart is a physical organ. And we think in terms of the heart. Well, it isn't quite what they intended. And yet the heart is so essential to vitality, to life. Can't do without it. So they call that the center, as the man thinks in the core of his being. That's what they really mean. The word heart or the word mind. Same thing. But as we read these words, because of our association with the word, we are anchored by the use of the word and we are struck with the word heart. For instance, we speak of the word loins. Well, it isn't so at all. In that wonderful chapter of Jeremiah, why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor? 36 the word translated loins is an entirely different Hebrew word. Why do I see every man with his hands, yes, pulling himself out of himself just like a woman in labor? Labor for the. For the primitive world, even to this very day. All blank space. China wouldn't send their women to hospitals to bear a child while plowing in the fields. When that moment of delivery is upon them, she delivers herself. Good golly, man. She uses her hands and draws from her own being what she formed within herself. That's what the prophet meant. That's what he saw. But our translators had to relate and say, why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman in labor? Isn't so at all. I will say to everyone as you read this greatest of all books, the Bible, if you don't have a concordance, it will be wise to get one. Really, if you're that interested and take not one word for granted, look it up. Because through habit we quote scriptures as we remember hymns, and we think that is it. When you start to really find the true definition of the words, you stand amazed. Yet our scholars have done a wonderful job, no question about it. Yet words change in their meanings. And because they change in their meanings, there must always be a need for revision. Right now we're working on an Old Testament. We've just brought out the new one called the New English Bible. So words having lost their meanings over the years, they've gone into refreshing, as it were. Question in the New Testament, Neville, it said, the woman of the south comes to the wisdom of Solomon, finds their one greater than the wisdom of Solomon. What is the woman of the south? Well, the south. See, if you take everything above the neck, as it were. The Bible speaks of hearing the north wind. Well, you always hear with the ear. And the ear, in the symbolism of Blake, is always the north. The eyes are the south, the nostrils the east, and the tongue or mouth is the west. So taste and touch are closed in man. He doesn't know how they feel. And he makes the statement, why is the Bible more entertaining and more instructive than any other book in the world? Is it not because he answers, it is addressed to the imagination, which is spiritual sensation and only immediately to the understanding or reason. So the sense of touch is missing in man, but he can see, that's not missing. And he can hear and smell, but he can't quite touch. How can I touch? But you can touch. Learn to touch. So the woman from the south, the queen from the south came. She could only see the glory and she had heard about the glory of Solomon. She came and she saw this fabulous kingdom and she heard of the wisdom of this one. You and I must try to open up that gate that is so closed, which is the sense of touch. What does it feel like if I touch it? Come closer that I may feel you. I think it's I touch you there. I'm not a very good memorizer. I'm becoming better, actually. I'm a very master memorizer of scripture. See how I revise that in lifetime. I used a little picture of a ball, a tennis ball and then a bag and then a baseball, a billiard ball. Can you discriminate between these three sensations? They are not unreal though. Invisible. Because you couldn't discriminate between nothings. If they did not exist, you couldn't discriminate. So if I can learn the sense of touch, I put a ball in my hand. It's a tennis ball. How do I know what it feels like? It gives. I have a baseball that doesn't feel like the other one. I can discriminate. Then I take a billiard ball or a ping pong ball. If I can discriminate between these feels well, then I must be feeling something that actually exists though to my mortal eye, invisible. Good night. Oh man, I can't find my post its. But I have to. I have to postify that section there because there's some. Here we go. What an amazing, amazing session lecture. Unbelievable. This whole Western gate situation. In this last answer I'm definitely. And we said it earlier too in a previous session, just recently, within a handful of lectures. Wonderful information. We must open that Western gate, which is feeling it through touch. He just did it wonderfully. A baseball, ping pong ball, a tennis ball, a billiard ball. Did I say tennis ball? Yes. Unbelievable. Discriminate between the sensations of those though they don't exist. They exist somewhere. Oh man, that was grand. Grand. What an amazing lecture. Law, slash storytelling, slash picture taking. Wonderful, amazing. Wow. February 16th, 1965. We're going to see you in the next one.
