Neville Goddard, the Power of unlimited imagination. Chapter 13. The feeling of I. Your journey into this world of decay and death began with your feeling of I. For wherever you place that feeling, there you live. You can place your feeling of I in the mud of negation or on the lovely ground of positive assumption. Your feeling of I is always with you. It is your slave and your savior, wherever. For wherever you go, there I am also. The ninth chapter of Numbers begins with Moses being given instructions by the Lord about how to erect a tabernacle, or tent of testimony and move it across the desert. He was told, during the day a cloud will cover the tabernacle, and at night it'll have the appearance of a pillar of fire. Whenever the cloud rises, the children of Israel must journey to the place where the cloud settles, down there the people must remain. It may rise once a week, once a month, or longer, but when it ascends, the children of Israel must journey. Now, a tabernacle is an elongated place of worship that is movable and covered with skin. You are that tabernacle. Excuse me, you are that temple in parentheses. Tabernacle. And the Spirit of God dwells within you as your eye, capital I in quotes. A cloud is a garment of water or psychological truth that covers the I, capital I in quotes and that to which it testifies. The cloud does not move in time, but is lifted up by the eye it covers. According to my senses. I am now in the Palace Hotel. Let me lift a cloud from my testament by withdrawing the feeling of I from the evidence of my senses and move by placing my eye in a predetermined state. And my whole world moves with me. Clothing myself in feeling. The cloud covers me as I testify to the state I have just entered. Closing myself in feeling. Feeling of what? It is your desire. After it's made manifest, what does it feel like to occupy it? Clothing myself in feeling of your desired end. The cloud covers me as I testify to the state I have just entered. At this moment, you may have placed your feeling of I in an unlovely state. And unless you lift that cloud that covers you, you are anchored there and are incapable of changing the circumstances of your life. Now this is. Excuse me. This lifting of the cloud and placing your feeling of I in a more desirable state involves a death. For when the cloud rises, it breaks or kills in parentheses the cycle of recurrence you have been on. This is very much exactly what it is to change your state, to change your level of self concept. I am all that is God right here. All Self, concepts come out, go forth. They're all states. They're all temporary occupancies. We go from one to another all the time. Sometimes we just stay on one and just repeat the cycle over and over and over and over and over. Let me lift the cloud from my testament by withdrawing the feeling of I from the evidence of my senses. And move by placing my eye in the predetermined state and my whole world moves with me. His I is currently here. The place he wants to get to is here. Predetermined state. Let's say it's this one. Here's his current place. Let me lift a cloud from my testament by withdrawing the feeling of I from the evidence of my senses. That's right here, his objective self. And move my eye to a predetermined state and my whole world moves with me. That predetermined state is within. That's the feeling. That's the imagining of yourself in that experience. That's the feeling feeling of it that's happening within. The objectification is not to be concerned about. That's the how business that's gonna happen. You create the wave here. The wave hits the beach there. You create the wave here. You surf the wave there. Clothing myself in feeling. The cloud covers me as I testify to the state I. I have just entered. The cloud covers. When you're in feeling at this moment, you may have placed your feeling of I in an unlovely state. Let's say you don't like that self concept. You don't like it there unless you lift that cloud that covers you. You are anchored there and are incapable of changing the circumstances of your life. Now, this lifting of the cloud and placing your feeling of I in a more desirable state involves a death. For when the cloud rises, it breaks or kills the cycle of recurrence you have been on. It breaks or kills the cycle of recurrence you've been on because you've been repeating this cycle. It breaks that cycle and it objectifies your new reality. This lifting of the cloud and placing your feeling of I in a more desirable state. You're placing it here in that more desirable state. It involves a death. For when the cloud rises, it's just rising here. It breaks or kills the cycle of recurrence. It breaks or kills this recurrence going on back and forth that you've been on. Motion can be detected only as a change of position with respect to another body. And all motion spoken of in scripture is psychological. Every state exists in this psychological land from which Your eye journeys all you need. Excuse me? Every state exists in this psychological land from which your eye journeys. All you need to do is extract your eye from where it is now and place it in your predetermined state. How does that feel in that state? It's like, remember riding the horse for the first time. You don't know what it's. You don't know what's going to happen. You just go in with the flow. You have to step in to this predetermined state with your feeling. And what does it feel like the first time you try that? I don't know what it would like to be driving that Maserati, but I can imagine for a second. Let me. Let me look at a picture. Okay, I see a picture now. I can sense myself in there. First person, I see my arms. You put yourself in the picture from first person. Never from the outside. If, in fact, that's a car that you want. Never looking at yourself from the outside of the car, because that's third person. You want to be first person. Seeing your arms holding the wheel. If in fact you want a car. Or you're at the teller at the bank throwing down your stacks of $10,000 each because you're making a massive deposit right here. And you don't care that they need to call Uncle Sam and tell him you're making all this money, but you have all this cash you want to deposit. So what? All you need to do is extract your eye from where it is now and place it in your predetermined state. But how will you know you have moved? By using a frame of reference. While sitting quietly in your chair, you can lift your cloud by the feeling of if and entirely. Excuse me. By the feeling of if in an entirely different psychological state. Let me clean that sentence. While sitting quietly in your chair, you're just hanging out, got your eyes closed, you're doing some fishing, you're inside hanging out with Jacob. While sitting quietly in your chair, you can lift your cloud by placing the feeling of if in an entirely different psychological state. What if you can place it into any state. Any of these states are available. All of them. If you want wealth, this is a thousandaire, a millionaire, a billionaire, a trillionaire or whatever in there. If you want health, this is your first step, second step, third step. All these states are available. You can have any of them. Do you want love? Here I am dating. Here I am getting engaged. Here I am married. All these states are available to you. Here I am with my husband in our House. This is us with children. This is us on vacation with children. This is us moving into our retirement years. We go on nothing but vacations all the time. All these states exist and they're ready for your occupation. So if you're thinking which one should I enter? They're all available. It is a psychological trip first before. It is a physical trip second. The physical trip is the shadow to the psychological fourth dimension is your psychological self creating the actual experience. The reality literally happens here first, then it out Pictures. While sitting quietly in your chair, you can lift your cloud by placing the feeling of if in an entirely different psychological state. Any state no one can see this motion for yours is a spiritual journey. While in the state, look for confirmation of your move on the faces of people there. Look for confirmation of your move on the faces of people there. Are they happy to see you? Are they surprised to see you? Are they happy for you? Are they congratulating you? Are you hearing your friend walking up to you, actually high fiving you, shaking your hand? Congratulations. I'm so excited for you. Are they a little jealous? Look, until you see the expressions on their faces. Now I have done this in the beginning of 2023, started Neville in 2022, and I started doing this in the beginning of 2023 and it all came. We're going to get into that stuff later. But this part of your friend celebrating you is very profound and works wonders. Your friend, because your friend doesn't judge you. Your friend is your friend because they're your friend, they don't judge you. So that's why they're happy to see you. And when you put them in that place celebrating your arrival to that level or that psychological dimension, and you put them there celebrating you, you were there, you're actually moved in. If there is a change in your feeling of I, you will find an automatic alteration in your usual expression of life. This is called detachment. So you are slowly detaching from here and you're occupying here. If you. If there's a change in your feeling of I, you will find an automatic alteration in your usual expression of life. That's an expression. That. That's an expression. You're going to find an automatic alteration. During the day you wear your garment of truth, the cloud. But the moment you begin to meditate, the brain grows luminous. This is the pillar of fire. By night, remember, I am the truth. And. And wherever you place your feeling of I, there you must abide. In the 31st chapter of Deuteronomy, we are told that Moses Went up from the plains of Moab to Nebo and there to Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho, where he was shown all the land that was his. The word Moses means to draw out. He is not a man, but your creative power that can draw out of you any state you have placed. Your eye, struck the rock and produced the water. The word Moab means mother, father, which is your I am ness. In your present state, your Moab may be saying, I am beaten, I am sick, I am impoverished. But Nebo means to prophesy you're longing by the feeling of I. Pisgah means to contemplate. When you enter your desired state, observe your Jericho, for it will have a fragrant odor, as that is what the word Jericho means. Having risen in consciousness, remain in your chosen state until you have a reaction that satisfies you. A violent reaction produces a horrible odor, while a lovely reaction indicates Jericho and a lovely odor. You see, Jericho is not a place in the near east, but a state that produces the thrill of accomplishment within you. In the 14th chapter of the book of John, Jesus speaks to Peter, saying, let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to pair that I go to prepare a place for you. And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you myself. And there I and excuse me, and take you myself, that where I am you may be also. This is not a man speaking to another, but self speaking to self. You are Jesus, which is imagination. Telling yourself there are unnumbered states of awareness for you to enter. And you are inviting self to choose the state you wish to inhabit. After selecting the state, imagination will go and prepare it for you so that you may come again, as you must in parentheses. For wherever you abide in imagination, there you shall reside also in the flesh. If you believe what I have told you, determine to change your feeling of I. There is no power that can keep you from realizing your dream but you. There is no power. There's no power out here. There's no power in here that can keep you from realizing your dream except you. And no man can compel you to enter any state. You have the power. You have the power to select your state and enter it, thereby making it alive. Or leave a state. Excuse me. Or leave a state, thereby killing it. The decision and its consequences is yours and yours alone. The day you can become an observing eye, watching your reactions and Seeing the observer and the thing observed as two distinct beings. You will know you can enter any state and it will out picture itself. You're entering the state here, it out pictures here. You're doing that when you feel it, when you feel the reality of it and you feel and sense it and you just have that feeling like, yeah, that feels natural. The feeling you're going to most of the time feel is this is natural. This feels like right now you must, you must, you must persist. You must, you must, you must persist. How many times I don't even know. I'll probably get a PDF of this book and I'm sure persist is in here a thousand times. You must persist until you get that feeling that it feels natural. Once it feels natural, just you're going to get this like, whoa, whoa. What? Really? That's what it feels like. That's what natural feels like. You must keep pushing against that objective self, towards the subjective impression you're trying to feel as real. You're not just trying to make the impression, you're trying to just feel it. You're just trying to feel something. Once you have the feeling of it feeling natural, that thing your desire is aiming you towards, once it feels natural, you're like, oh, oh, I see, that's what you're after. Now you can just copy and paste over and over and over. You will know you can enter any state and it will out picture itself. You will know that all the mansions of your father's house are yours. Now again, what are we doing here? We're learning the law. And what do we want? Why are we learning the law? We're learning in the law to know what the path of righteousness is. What does this mean, the law? What is the path of righteousness? The Count of Monte Cristo. Oh boy. I'm going to break that movie down. We're going to cover that movie together. It's going to be a reaction type video and I'm going to, we're going to go through it and break it down as if Abdullah and Neville were in the movie theater with us. It is a great, great movie. But the main character was told, here's the main character. And through awful experiences he had desire. And I'm not spoiling it, but he had desire for. To avenge those who wronged him. And whilst in prison he met his father, the father in the story, it's called the Abbey. This father imparted wisdom into the main character. The main character then through feeling released himself from prison. Wonderful, wonderful movie. And for 1934. Just wow. For Neville and Abdullah to go see it at the theater. That's just mind blowing. Incredible. You will know that all the mansions of your father's house are yours. When the main character in the story discovered what was shared with him by the abbey, which were an inexhaustible amount of riches, that was him realizing how to use what the law was from the abbey and how to use the law. That's the inexhaustible riches. That's the treasure spoken about. And how many countless stories, countless movies. There's always after a treasure. A hidden treasure, a sunken treasure. A treasure buried in a cave. A treasure buried in the ground. I'm here to tell you this is the treasure. This makes wealth. This makes life. This makes death. This makes health. This makes love. This makes the experience of love. If you don't call that actual treasure, I don't know what you call it. I am consciousness. In parentheses I Am contains the whole of creation. That's I Am. And out of I amness comes imagination. Where there is no consciousness, there's no imagination. Where there's no consciousness, there's no imagination. I Am contains all consciousness. And out of consciousness is imagination. Without consciousness, there's no imagination. When you enter a state, your I am is. Is having a psychological experience. When you think about a state, you have a subject and its object. But when you experience a state, you have unification. Wow. Wow. Wow. Postscript. Wow. What a wonderful little chapter. The teaching of Truth deals with the feeling of I. For only through feeling can change come about. If you continue to have the same reactions, you have not changed your feelings. Remember, you're trying to pay attention to your reactions. Is the line long? Is the line short? Is it short at the register? Is it short at the gas pump? Is it long at the gas pump? Is it long at the register? Look at your reactions. My coworker said that again. Oh boy. They don't know how. What? What are your reactions? Catalog them. See what your reactions are to the things that are happening and what thoughts are flying in and out of your head. And how are you reacting to those thoughts or what others say? Everyone's you pushed out. Excuse me. Note to self. Eating before filming a video could be when it's nap time. Filming a video while nap time is not a good time. Take siesta. First note over. Your world forever conforms to your inner assumption. Your world forever conforms to your inner assumption. Out of I amness that's I am ness comes imagination. Oh my goodness. What a wonderful, wonderful chapter. Chapter 13, the feeling of I. And we're going to see you in the next chapter.
