Neville Goddard 1963 lectures the Pearl of Great Price. This is going to be a good one. Tonight's subject is the pearl of great price. This is taken from the 13th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, 45th and 46 verses. It's all about the kingdom of heaven. First of all, let us say that the kingdom of heaven is simply that state into which man rises where everything is completely subject to his imaginative power. He is destined to be an heir, one with his Father, who is God, where everything is put under his power. Now, here's a quote from the 13th of Matthew. The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls who, finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought. Is my hope that I can bring you to that pearl tonight. You may not value it to the point where you're willing to sell all that you have to buy it. But I will tell you of this pearl. Very few are willing to sell all and buy the pearl. But let me now quote from another passage of the Gospel, the 11th chapter of the book of Luke, the 21st through the 23rd. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when one stronger, then he assails him and overcomes him, he takes from him the armor in which he trusted and divides his spoil. The very next line, as though it's an afterthought, throws all light in the world upon that statement. He who is not with me is against me. There is no benevolent neutrality, none whatsoever. He who is not with me is my enemy. He is against me. So we find the one who is completely in control of this kingdom of heaven. And I tell you that being is called in Scripture Christ. But Christ is defined as the power and the wisdom of God. In the first chapter of the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians, Christ is the power and the wisdom of God. Verse 24. Don't look for a man. A man is only the instrument through which this power and this wisdom is exercised. But Christ himself is the power and the wisdom of God. You and I are the instruments. You and I are the instruments through which this power and this wisdom is exercised. So Paul makes the statement. From now on, we'll regard no one from the human point of view. Even though we once regarded Christ from the human point of view, we regard him so no longer. You who are taking notes. That's his second letter to the Corinthians, the fifth chapter of the 16th verse. I love how Neville says, for those of you who are taking notes because, you know, there were some people taking notes and I really can't appreciate the crowd who were concerned enough to take notes and go look at their Bibles and look at the scripture and read what no doubt Neville perfectly quoted, but go home and check it for their own sake. What's the old saying? If you convince someone against their will, they'll be of the same opinion. Still something to that effect. From now on, we regard no one from the human point of view. Even though we once regarded Christ from the human point of view, we regard him thus no longer. And then he, the author of that statement, defines Christ for us. Christ is the power and the wisdom of God. First Corinthians 1:24. Now we are told by him all things were made, and without him was not anything made that was made, but nothing. John 1:3. And so we invite you now to test Christ in you again. From the letters of Paul, the 13th chapter, fifth verse. In fact, read it through to the seventh verse. Excuse me, but I'll quote you the fifth. Examine yourselves to see whether you are holding to the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in thee? Unless of course, you fail to meet the test, I hope you will discover that we have not failed. 2nd Corinthians 13:5. And then he gives us a warning. For now he's speaking only of power, power and wisdom, personified in the form of one called Christ Jesus. And now he warns us, I hope and I pray to God that you do not use it in the wrong way. Or verse seven. Hmm? Even if you think he's implying now that I have not used it to the full of my knowledge, I'd rather that you hear and feel that I have made a mistake or I have failed, than that you use it evilly. Implying, stating quite openly that you can misuse power. Of course you can. Take a look around. Turn on your social media device or your TV or anything of that sort. Anything that blurts out anything is telling you what you are not. Does it matter what it is? It's usually trying to get your consent or your admittance. It's getting you to admit to that reality. Turn it off. You are your own reality. It's what you're busy creating. If you need someone else to do it for you, then don't use your imagination all the live long day. It will be happy to fill in the gap for you, no problem. You can just look at this and look at that, and look at this and look at that. Admit this consent that Admit this, consent that what a nice consumer you are, or use your own imagination, turn that off. Imagine your desire into fruition. Become the fruits of your own desire. What if I am the man I wish to be? What if I am married? What does that feel like? What if I am healthy? How does that feel like? What if I am wealthy? What does that feel like? What is it like to buy for the whole restaurant? What is it like to buy a round for the bar? What is it like to buy dinner every week? What does that feel like? Everyone in the world is using this only power, but they don't know it. And so he's trying to bring us to the knowledge of this power and the wise use of it. It's called, as we first quoted it, the pearl of great price. So great is this pearl so valuable that it takes everything that you own to buy it. You'll know when you're in the presence of that pearl, because you will not have any problem selling everything for it. Now, you don't go and liquidate your stocks and bonds. You don't sell your homes, you don't sell anything. In the world of Caesar, we're not talking about possessions here, but it takes everything you now believe in, other than it, to pay for it. I've mentioned many times I did, I did. I spent, I invested wisely in 28 years of the seth material. In practice, in application, in teaching, in learning, in being. Wonderful body of work. I love the fact that I can do lucid dreaming out of bodies. I can do all these things because of that body of work. During that body of work, I did a lot of other metaphysical subjects. I want to make a separate video for this, but things like numerology, palmistry, astrology, tarot, all these things, they were all wonderful things. I learned them from my teacher, the same teacher, she ran a bookstore where she taught all of these subjects. I learned all of the subjects from her. I stuck very close so I could learn more. More, more. Deep, deep, deep, deep. More, more, more, more. Deep, deep, deep, deep. I eventually taught them. Within a couple years, I was teaching them all the subjects. And for years it's been a great passion, the main thrust of which has always been just to enlighten the mind of another to something they didn't think of before. The same way it was enlightened. To me, that was mainly the goal. It wasn't about this one's the authority or this one's the authority, but I actually very much so fell in love with numerology because that was my teacher's favorite. And so it became my favorite and I became very, very, very good at it. Same with Neville with his astrology practice where he did everybody's chart for everybody and taught people the same thing. It is something I can understand the language of and see through the middle because of the application of time and the desire and enthusiasm to learn it all the way. All the way. You can wake me up at 3 o' clock in the morning, shake me out of a deep sleep, ask me any question about it and I'll have the answer. That's where it's at. But then I discovered my teacher left the party. I go for a couple, three, four years. Then I discover Ho'. Oponopono. Then that is the new light, the light of consciousness. And that I am very happy to have discovered. Study apply be. I have some stories to share with you about that one. I love you. Thank you. Just that I have seen people change in an instant. I've seen animals change in an instant. I've seen people I'm talking to, I'm just repeating that while they're talking. I've seen them change. I've seen so many miraculous things. With that. Then to discover the pearl of great price. AKA the law of Assumption. AKA Neville Goddard. Oh boy, what a wonderful discovery. It takes everything you now believe in other than it to pay for it. You believe in authority, you've got to sell it. You believe in numerology, there we go in teacup leaves in astrology. And all these things, no matter what you believe in as a power to control you, you've got to sell takes all these beliefs and you've got to sell them. And we're not talking about selling those ideas or beliefs for another idea or belief. We're talking about to sell those ideas or beliefs because they're in the way of the way. No one will buy them from you. But you give them up as valueless. Therefore there's no price attached, no value whatsoever. But you can't hold on to one thing you now believe in as a power that controls your life and still hope to buy the pearl of great price. Everything you now believe in, whether it be even the drugs that you take, even the things of diets. If you're a vegetarian and you think that's the way to God, if you're a meat eater and you think that's the way to God. If you're a non smoker, non drinker and that's the way to God or if you're a smoker, And a drinker. And that's the way to God. There is no way to God but Christ. I am the way. There is no other way. Way to what? To everything in this world, but especially to the Father. No one comes unto the Father but by me. And here he defines it. He is the only way in the world. To everything in this world what you and I seek. And it takes everything that we own as to beliefs that we think are powers to guide our life to pay for that pearl of great price. If you think for one moment you can hold on to one little thing. In the event this doesn't work, you can't buy the pearl. So when I buy the pearl, I go all the way and live by it. Raise your hand if that's you all in. And there is no other being in this world, just this pearl. And I live by it. This pearl is your own wonderful human imagination. That's Christ. Now I see her in the audience tonight. Last Friday night, this sweet lady told me this story. She went into the baker to buy the usual things that we buy when we go to a bakery. And the lady who waited on her didn't look well. She, without asking the reasons for her present appearance in her own mind's eye when she got home, talked to her as though she stood before her physically. She didn't sit down, she didn't relax, she didn't go into a trance. Just brought her before her mind's eye and heard her say that she felt so well. And she complimented her on the way she looked. She looked so well. This was a communion between two souls. How she looked so well. And she believed in the reality of her imaginal act. One week later she goes back into the same bakery. And here is this lady. Same lady, but radiant. So radiant. It prompted a response from this one. And she said, but you look so well. What has happened? Well, she said, this past week I inherited some money and I paid off all my bills. I paid everything that I owed in this world. And so I have no debts and I have money now. This lady is totally unaware of the gift she received from the lady who is present here tonight. Totally unaware of it. I have to. I have to give a testimonial to this. I go to a deli and for many years I saw the same young gal with a elbow device. You know, the kind you Velcro put on. Put on your arm. That your arm is giving you problem. And I. I think it was on her right. Right elbow. Yeah, I think it was on her right elbow so I'm imagining lovingly loving for others. This is about a year ago, year and a half ago, maybe already. And I, I think all I did was I asked her about her elbow and said, how's your elbow? Something to that effect, light. She goes, oh, well, you know, it's blah, blah, blah, and it hurts this, that, and it hurts and there's pain. And then I, I says, wow. She goes, yeah, I've done it several times in, in my life. It's always from the same. Because I ride motorcycles. And I'm like, she rides motorcycles? Whoa. So apparently, I think, I'm pretty sure it was dirt bike level, motorcycle riding, young gal is probably about, I'm gonna guess, you know, 30, 33, something like that. And I just thought, wow, that's amazing. You know, I said something like, that's amazing. I left the deli with my food order. I walked out, got into my car, sat there, didn't do anything yet. Didn't turn on the car, didn't start thinking about anything. I just started imagining myself walking in, seeing her without the brace talk, talking about how wonderful she feels. I didn't, I dropped it. I went into the Sabbath, it was done. It was done. Don't do anything else. Drove home, ate my food, none the wiser. I go back there, I think about, I want to say two weeks to a month later, I went back there and after I left, I got on the phone with my buddy Danny. He's a person that I share ho' oponopono with. He has his own business, he's very, very good guy. And I told him about the story. I go, dude, I can't believe what has happened. Because when I went in the deli, I described the story to him that I'm about to tell you. I went in the deli and there she was serving me without the brace. And I had seen her with that elbow brace on I don't know how many years, two, three, four years at least, somewhere in that neighborhood. But here she was without the brace on her arm. And I go, oh, wow, so it looks like your wing is better. She goes, oh, yeah. And before, mind you, she was having a hard time digging out of the deli. When I'd order stuff out of the deli like mushrooms or, you know, olives, things like that, she'd have a hard time reaching in there because of her elbow. This time she was just doing her work. And I was like, I didn't say anything. I was just observing it and just going, oh, wow, look at that. Look at that. When I got out, I called my buddy, told him about it, and I go, man, I think this is amazing. I gotta tell you. I think you know, because we go over the ho' oponopono stuff quite a bit. But there it was, an obvious example of imagining lovingly for others. They are where you put them. Where are you putting them is your question. Where do you think they are? All I imagined was she was healthy, but she had mobility and she never felt better. Very basic, very simple. And her celebration to fast forward. I think I might have seen her one more time in there, and then I haven't seen her since. I haven't asked about her. There's at least 12 people that work in this daily, very small place, but it gets very busy. But I haven't asked about her. And they have. They have a core. It's a family run shop business, so they have a core line of people. But I do see some change a little bit. I don't go there totally a lot, but I haven't asked about her because I don't even know her name. Anyway, she's gone. She moved on. I mean, she's probably back on a motorcycle, popping a wheelie somewhere, I don't know. And it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You give a gift, you let it go, as my teacher told me, and you don't tie yourself to it. You give because you feel like giving. Once you give something, it's not yours anymore. So you don't want to go chasing down a birthday gift to somebody or a Christmas gift and say, hey, how's it working out? How do you like it? Uh, that's poison. That would be poison. My teacher taught me that and I stuck to it ever since she taught it to me. Difficult lesson because I would like to know how people would get along with something I gave them. But I don't do that anymore. It's not a good habit. So you give a gift and it's gone. It's what it's supposed to be, a gift. It's supposed to be forgotten and forgiven. Forgiven and forgotten. Remember Blake? So I haven't seen her since. I know she's doing well, and that's all I know. And that's where she is. Simple. This is the cashier. The rest, the deli person, don't even know her name. How many of these people are in your world that you interact with every day? How hard is it for you to lift, to do a little bit of lifting? We're not talking about Breaking a sweat here. We're talking about a little bit of this, okay? Reminding you of what this gal did for the gal at the. At the. At the. I think it was a deli as well. Bakery. She didn't sit down, she didn't relax. She didn't go into a trance. Just brought her before her mind's eye and heard her say she felt so well. And she complimented her on the way she looked. She looked so well. This was a communion between two souls. How she looked so well. And there is the core of it right there. That's the core piece right there. Now listen to these words and try to put any interpretation upon them in the world. And then tell me if you can. This is from the 25th chapter of the book of Matthew. Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it unto me. You don't need the consent of any being in this world to hear good news for them. That girl to Delhi didn't. She was none the wiser. You don't have to say. Do you want me to hear it? That was something I know. I'm going to bring up some other stuff about Lucille Ball and when she was good at Neville. I think I read a lecture. I have so much I want to say in one moment. I think I just read a lecture recently where somebody was being asked to play the record for them. And that did have to do. And he didn't state it was Lucille Ball, but it is Lucille Ball in that specific lecture I read before now. And reciting the record is what Lucille Ball used to do. She used to recite the voice because she could mimic the sound perfectly. So somebody would hear the record. It would be Lucille Ball that was doing that. You don't need the consent of any being in this world to hear good news for them. You don't have to say, do you want me to hear it? That's what Lucille Ball used to do. Or people would ask of Neville all the time. Do you want praise? If you ask them in advance. Should I hear good news for you? You are only asking in the event that it works. They'll praise you or in some way give you something. You don't ask anyone for their permission. And I don't. I never do. I never do. The closest it gets for me is with my wife. But even then I didn't focusing on that cruise. As I told you that whole story. There's a lot of missing. But the main gist is already on that video. I didn't share it with them until I was right there at the in Monte Carlo with that glass being served to me. This exact glass being served to me. That was the one in my imagining. I didn't reveal that. And it was about 15 months later. You don't ask for their permission to hear good news. For in as much as you've heard it, as you have done it to the one of the least of my brethren, you did it unto me. And when you did not do it, you did not do it unto me. Verse 45. And so every moment of time, there's the opportunity to do it unto Christ. Jesus Christ. Jesus being your own wonderful human imagination. To see man in need and not act in your own wonderful imagination like she did is to keep the wounds open and to bear more and more stripes upon the body of Christ Jesus. For the only Christ Jesus is in you as your own wonderful human imagination. Do you just feel like with what I just read, you just got your ass chewed out and handed to you? Because that's what just happened. Christ in you. You is the hope of glory. Come, test yourself and see. What a wonderful invitation. Test yourself? How would I test myself? Well, this is how you test yourself. I tell you that if you imagine, as this lady did, that someone stands before you in a bodily form, although they cannot be seen with your mortal eye, but actually you imagine they are standing before you and you carried on a conversation with them from the premise of your fulfilled desire for them. And then you feel them as you would feel them were they now solidly present.
