Neville Goddard 1963 Lectures from the Awakening March 1, 1963. The Pure in Heart. But first there was a question that I didn't get to put on the last video. So I'm going to add it here and then we'll move into the lecture. Pure at Heart. Pure in heart. The last lecture, which was his name. Great lecture. This question was asked in that lecture at the end of the meeting. Is Paul a man, just as we are? Question, Answer. Neville, did you hear the question? Is Paul a man as we are? If there's any man in the entire Bible that is a man as I am, it's Paul. If there's any man in the entire Bible who walked this earth as you walk it, and I as I walk it, it is Paul. It's the story. The others are states of consciousness. Here is one person in whom it began to awaken. He was grounded in orthodoxy. As he said in his own confession, I am of the tribe of Benjamin, a child of Abraham, grounded in the law. And then he didn't understand it, the fulfillment of that law, until it happened in him. Then he denied he ever heard it from a man, for no man could have taught it to him. So the gospel that I preached said, he is not the gospel of a man. For I was not taught it, nor did I hear it, but it came through a revelation of Jesus Christ. And when it pleased God to reveal his Son in me, then I conferred not with flesh and blood. Galatians 1, 11 and 16. And here is a perfection, a perfect revelation of how this thing takes place. I can tell you I hadn't the slightest concept. I was raised in an orthodox Christian environment. Is Neville a strict Christian environment? And I had no idea that this thing actually was alive in man. He wove it into us. He. He wove it into us. Let me put it on the board. What is this amazing He. Okay. I am all that is God. Right there. That's also He. We come out of him, all of us. We're all self concepts. We're all a different reality from each other. We're all unique. We can possess a self concept. Be in a self concept. We'll also change that self concept by making an impression onto our subconscious as we fall asleep at night. It's the best time. Make that impression, become a new expression. Then you have this self concept which is different than the old one. This one goes away. This one dies. This one is the story of the suicide of Judas that dies and goes away. Now you become the new self concept. Sooner or later you're going to want another one. Let's say you're single, you're not married, and you become married. Then you're married, and then you want to have children. Then your new self concept is a mother or whatever. And it continues on and on. These self concepts change continuously. This phrase he and here's a perfect revelation of how this thing takes place. I can tell you I hadn't the slightest concept. I was raised in an orthodox Christian environment, a strict Christian environment, and I had no idea that this thing actually was alive in man, in each of us. Okay? He wove it into us. He wove it into us. Then it happened just as you're told in the scripture, only it happened happened in the depth of the soul and you go through all the experiences. I had no idea when I started to teach this, I was teaching only the law of God. I started in 1938 on the second day of February, and I only spoke of God's law because I've proven it and it works, which is I am. So I went across the country telling anyone who would listen to me that you can assume that you are what you want to be and you'll become it. And they did. It worked. But I had no idea of the profundity of this teaching until it began to happen in me that all of a sudden the birth from above took place and everything as described in the Gospels, even to the story of the dove that I never conceived to be an actual fact until it happened. And in the depths of myself. So I say it happened to Paul. He is the one character I would swear actually walk the face of the earth. Tape ends Ah, the tape. The confounded tape. Pure in heart. March 1, 1963. Next lecture. Tonight's subject is the pure in heart. I think you are all familiar with it. With it, the sixth Beatitude. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8. I dare say that it would be unwise to pick and choose among the Beatitudes. And yet I hear that most people look upon this Beatitude as the brightest particular star in the heavens. It really seems the most inaccessible now. Only the promise. Not only the promise, but the condition that must be met in order for the promise to be fulfilled. For we must be pure in heart to see God. And what wouldn't man give to see God? And yet all he needs to do in this world is to fulfill the condition to be pure in heart. And so what do we mean by pure in heart? Just what is it? First of all, may I tell you that you need not think of moral perfection. And certain certainly it does not refer to any way to sexual. It does not refer in any way to sexual purity. For we are told by the same one who uttered the Beatitude that the harlot given to love will go into heaven before the Pharisee. The Pharisee was perfect in keeping these outward laws, the washing of the outside of the cup and the washing of the hands and feet. He abided by the law outwardly. And yet he was told that the harlot given to love would go into heaven before he would. So it isn't that. So what is this purity spoken of? Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. See God. You see, the Bible is a mystery. And although on the surface it seems so simple, anyone should be able to understand that simple statement. But anyone. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. But the Bible isn't that simple. So what is this purity? And what is the heart? For the word pure is tahor. Tahor, which means clear, which means unalloyed. Pure. Pure gold. It was as a tract of land completely cleared of trees, without structures, none whatsoever. But here it is pure gold. But to understand it, we've got to go all over the Bible to get it. And here in the 73rd Psalm, the very first verse, truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. So right away he set up Israel as the pure in heart. And then in John 1, he sees Nathanael. Nathanael means the gift of God. And Nathanael looks at him at that moment. He is not quite sure that anything good could come out of Galilee. And Jesus, looking at him, said, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile. John 1:47. So that's an Israelite. One in whom there is no guile, no deceit, and incapable of duplicity. That's the true Israelite, and that's the heart. Now, in the 24th Psalm, the third and fourth verses, the question is asked, and who will ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? Then comes the response, he who is of clean hands and the pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. So who can ascend the hill of the Lord? Who could stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and the pure heart. Then you are told in the next line exactly what he means by it. He doesn't lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear Deceitfully. So we bring the whole thing down just to one simple, simple voice. A man that is incapable of deceit for personal gain, who is pure in heart. A man that is incapable of deceit for personal gain. If I tell you a story for amusement, where you and I can laugh together, that's not deceit. But if I do it for personal gain, say in politics, whether politics being government or in religion or in business, anytime that I plot and plan a little scheme to get the better of another for my own personal gain, then I am not pure in heart. So he's looking for one who is pure in heart. Because no one but such a one can see God. No one can be brought into the presence of the ancient of days and be presented to him. But the pure in heart. He may have no intellectual, social or. Or financial background, but nothing in the world of blank space. But he is incapable of deceiving another for his own personal gain. The one that one has the heart of the Israelite at the very moment that it. At the very moment that it's observed by God, who sees all and knows all, he brings him right into his presence. And you see God. When you see God, you see that only reality, and you become what you see. When you see God, you see that only reality, and you become what you see at that very moment. Like a seal upon wax, the impress is made. And you here and you bear the image of God not on this physical garment, but you bear it on your eternal garment, which was waiting for that moment in time when the heart was pure gold. It's the unalloyed gold back to the true Israelite. I must repeat this. It's very important peace that couples with it. And here in the 73rd Psalm, the very first verse. Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. So right away he set up Israel as the pure in heart. And then in John 1, he sees Nathanael. Nathaniel means the gift of God. And Nathaniel looks at him at the moment he is not quite sure that anything good could come out of Galilee. And Jesus looking at him, said, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile. John 1:47. So that's an Israelite, one in whom there is no guile, no deceit, and incapable of duplicity. That's the true Israelite, and that's the heart. It's unalloyed gold. When you start with this homogeneous substance called the body, or for this is simply containing all, all minerals, all things. And then we are put through furnaces, furnaces of Affliction, as the Bible speaks of them. Not to worry. Not to worry. I'd rather speak of them as furnaces of experience. But every test in the world is given to the individual by himself. I think I lost my page. Oh, my goodness. This is too much. Yeah, I'm all over the place. Let me get to my page. There's some good stuff I'm flipping through, though. Oh, my gosh. Okay. I'd rather speak of them as furnaces of experience. But every test in the world is given to the individual by himself. Me, myself, and I. But every test in the world is given to the individual by himself, but he doesn't know it. To do what is called not the right thing, but the loving thing, where you could never deceive. This is a highly, highly responsible statement. If you could simply accept this, you would accelerate so fast. If you could accept what is being said right here, right now, you would accelerate into your manifestation technique, into what you want, and find all you desire so fast. It would just spin your head. You just have to accept that you're the one doing it. No one's doing it to you. If you think someone's doing it to you, just break out your hand and point it that someone. And just take a look at what's happening here. What's happening simply is you're pointing at them. And it's me, myself, and I who's actually doing it. It's in your body. It's woven into the physicality of your person. It's not just woven in you, like he just said. It's woven into the symbols that you look at that are attached to you. If you're pointing a finger at anybody else for anything that you think you're a victim of, you're pointing one finger at them and three fingers at the source. This is a. It was the biggest grief my teacher and I had. And we would go and give consultations at fairs, etc. And we would have the biggest conversation on the drive home every single week about the same subject. Basically, what the crux was. Who wants to take responsibility? Because of our conversations, we'd have in these consultations, a bunch of them in four hours or whatever. It was the same theme rung through. It was always pivotal upon responsibility of the individual. We were consulting with, talking to, advising. It was always about them not taking responsibility for what is being said right here. That you are creating your imagination. Excuse me. That you are creating your reality through your imagination or another way, the Seth way. You create your own reality. It's the same thing. Your imagination creates reality. It's the same thing. To look at that on either of those fronts, you have to accept that you're the source. This is a pill to swallow for those who don't think the world is happening by them, they think it's happening to them. It becomes a heavy burden, but it must be dealt with at sooner or later. If you're coming into this for the quick and dirty fix. It's not quick and dirty unless you swallow this pill. This pill. It'll be quick, you can say ripping off the band aid, it'll be really fast. I'm gonna repeat it because it's very, very, very important point. It's so important. It's just it has to be dealt with. And I don't know, man, I don't know. It's like, it's like to get you to realize how valuable you are. To get you to realize how valuable you really are. And I heard of this technique. I'll take you right outside the door, right here where I'm sitting. And if I throw you in my swimming pool and I hold you under the water, will you not realize in that instant, after about one second, how valuable you are? You won't even have to think about how valuable you are. You won't even make a decision about how valuable you are. Your physical person, this physical self that you are, will fight big time to get back into the air. That proves without your consent how valuable you are if somebody could dunk you in their pool and hold you underwater, or if a wave could hold you underwater. And I've been a surfer most of my life and it's nothing compares to being held underwater by waves. But if you were forced underwater and by someone's hands, you would realize right away how valuable you are. Because you want that air so bad. You want to live, you want to breathe again. You don't want it to stop, you want to continue. That's the fastest way to see how valuable you are. And in that value comes responsibility. Sooner or later you're going to go around these self concepts until one day you face that ultimate responsibility that you are creating the life you're living. And by your self concept you can better that life. You can change it from here to here, here to here, here to here, here to here. It just. This is this wheel of life. But it demands the concept of responsibility be dealt with. You are creating your experience and that's not a big deal when you realize he created you in his image. So if you are Creating your own self concept in your own reality. That's not that big of a deal because he is what you're made of. So he is creating himself in you and you are creating yourself in another you, another self concept. We're only a mirror image of God. All that is I am. So what is it that's new? Nothing is new here. You already know how to ride the bike. Everybody on here is already doing it. Everybody watching the video is already doing this. Because you're in a self concept to begin with. You're already there, the one that you're not happy with and you want to change and that's okay because this is the nature of life. We're meant to ascend, that's why we're here. But if you're already doing it, how are you doing it? Because you're unconsciously doing it, you're not consciously doing it. The purpose of my talk with you is to become a conscious co creator with all that is do it consciously. You saw the Happy birthday Neville video I put up about four or five videos ago about the eggs. That's a conscious creation of reality. There is nothing more joyful than the simple experiences because they build up and they build up your confidence and then that builds up and then before you know it you're changing self concepts like you're changing socks and underwear. No big deal. But you have to accept that you are creating your life. No matter how good or bad all your experiences have been. They are the furnaces of affliction which Neville would like to call the furnaces of experience. So we're going to click into the next step. But understand this is very, very important when you start with this homogenous substance called the body for this is simply containing all, all minerals, all, all things. And then we are put through furnaces, furnaces of affliction as the Bible speaks of them. I'd rather speak of them as furnaces of experience. But every test in the world is given to the individual by himself, but he doesn't know it in parentheses to. But every test in the world is given to the individual by himself to do what is called not the right thing but the loving thing where you could never deceive. And when you've been put through all these tests and you'd still in front of your own being and your own poverty, rather die than take advantage of another. And that heart becomes pure gold. Only it can receive the imprint of the king of kings. Just discussing this in one of the comments sections of the videos. How powerful this information is. And just to be reading it to you, it can be overwhelming on this end. I mean, that sentence right there wants to make me fall out. I mean, I want to fall out from that. That is, I'll try and repeat it because I was. Got a big old lump in the throat. And when you've been put through all these tests and you still in front of your own being and your own poverty, rather die than take advantage of another. And that heart becomes pure gold. Only it can receive the imprint of the King of kings. Wow. Now he finds such a person. Now this is the mystery. He's been looking and looking and he finds them. And his name, he calls him David. After putting himself through all the furnaces, he extracts the pure gold that can take his imprint and that he calls and that he calls David. I have found In David the 13th chapter, the 22nd through 24th verses of the book of Acts. I have found in David the son of Jesse, a man after my heart. Here for the first time I brought forth exactly what I wanted. I found in David the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, of whose posterity God has brought forth a Savior, Jesus, as he promised. Told you my cousins, one is named David, one is named Jesse, one is named Thomas, and one is named Abraham, but goes by a different name. Now the word Jesse actually means I am. He is the Father of David. So who is begetting that heart? I am. You put yourself unknowingly from your present level into every situation in the world to test that goal. So here you are embedded in this homogeneous substance containing all things. But you've got to extract only pure gold. And that pure gold is David. So I have found in David, I brought him forward the Son of Jesse, the Son of A Am. So I bring it out, and out of it now I make myself a pledge. This is the pledge that told us. This is the pledge that's told us in the seventh chapter of the book of second Samuel. And I will now bring forth from your body your son. The words are, and when you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up after your son, who shall come forth from your body. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. Verse 12. And now the process begins. He's found him, and from him he's going to bring forth now his own likeness. He's found David, his only begotten Son. That's pure gold. Now God now begins the process of making what he has brought forth in his own into his own image. Now let us make man in our image after our likeness. Genesis 1:26. Remember the plural two times in that plural, let us make man in our image after our likeness. Three of them. Man being the shortened version of the word manifestation is what I think. You can't make man until first you produce this pure metal, this pure gold. And so God became embedded in what is called a garment of flesh. And in and in it he moves through all the furnaces of experience until he can produce out of it the pure gold. Then from it he now brings forth himself. He's going to make himself and making himself, he's making us individuals. Now it doesn't make sense, but you listen to it carefully. In the 44th chapter of Isaiah, the very last verse, what is said of Cyrus is said of David. And the name only appears twice in the book. Just a couple of times in the book. In the 44th and beginning the 44th of Isaiah, Cyrus is called my shepherd. That's what David was called. I have found my shepherd, and he will do all of my will. David will do all of my will. So you can see the two are as 1. Now in a wonderful manuscript which is used in the Apocrypha also in the traditional books of our Bible. And Cyrus is made to say it's supposed to have this manuscript, this parchment. I am Cyrus the king, the great king, the mighty king, the son of Cambyus, Camby, Cambyses the great king. I am the grandson of Cyrus the great king, exalted according to the benefits beneficence of their hearts. Now here we find Cyrus, Cambyses and Cyrus. I make the claim that man awake matures completely when man becomes the father, his own father. He's Cyrus, his father is Cambyses and his grandfather is Cyrus. So Cyrus awakes and he says, I am Cyrus the king, the great king, the mighty king. I am the son of Cambyses the great king, the grandson of Cyrus the great king, exalted according to this love of their hearts. Now here we come back. David seems to be something that I begot. I promise myself I'm going to extract something that is gold, my very being. I will rise up after you rise up out of your very body. Your son who will come forth from your body. Well, that's gold. I will be his father and he will be my son. Now we are told that he buried this in the mind of man. The word mind and the word heart are the same in Hebrew. When we are told in the third chapter, the eleventh verse of Ecclesiastes, that God has put the world into the heart of man yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. That word translated heart and the word translated world are now changed in the modern version of the Bible. And the word heart now becomes mind and the word world becomes eternity. So, and God has put now eternity in the mind into the mind of man so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. That same word translated world is now translated eternity. And the word translated heart in the King James version is now translated mind. It's the identical thing. What did he put into the mind and the heart? The whole personality of a man is that gold. He had to first make them. When man becomes incapable of duplicity, he but incapable of deceit. He has the gold and the gold is in that man. I tell you, those are two good things to not be capable of. And now that's placed in man. By whom? By the one who brought it into being. Who is that being? Jesse. Jesse is producing David. And David is pure gold. And I have found in David, the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart. Now out of him, I'm going to actually extract my own being. I can't extract it from anything but pure gold. And now he begins to make man in his image after his own likeness. And it takes that gold to make the imprint of God Almighty, of Jehovah himself. So everyone in the world will do it because Jesse is buried in you as your own wonderful I amness. If you should drop dead this very second, like right now, it doesn't make any difference. The play goes on and he'll put you into situation after situation after situation until finally you become incapable of deceit. What you do sexually is not his concern unless it is to deceive for personal gain. To marry someone with all the outer appearance of love when basically you really want to get rid of them within 24 hours for what they have. That's marrying for personal gain. I can't even fathom that. My teacher would tell me so many stories. I couldn't. I refused to believe these stories. I met her, I was 25, and she was 68. She had already had a lengthy experience as an advisor, counselor. And the stories she would tell me, just some of them I didn't hear. All of them I didn't hear. But maybe a minor, very tiny percentage. And still I couldn't believe any of them I heard that were along that line. I didn't think that was possible. I'm not cut that way. I'm not cut that way. Maybe I've been through too many furnaces. I feel burned. I promise you, because. Because I can't do that. I personally cannot. I didn't know it was possible. So I met her. She took the naivete and thrashed me around for a while so I could snap out of that. To marry someone with all the outer appearance of love. When basically you really want to get rid of them within 24 hours for what they have, that's marrying for personal gain. That is not what this channel is about. And everything I hope to give you as far as becoming conscious of becoming a marrying person. It has nothing to do with this. You wouldn't be here if it was. But I just want to make that a statement. You're here for the opposite of this. That's marrying for personal gain. That's deceit. But if you married a thousand people, if you live without marrying to a thousand people, that's not a thing to do with it. No matter how you are given to such love. You are told that you will get into heaven before the Pharisee. In the ninth chapter of the book of Luke. There was something I wanted to tell you. The plague goes on. No matter what you're doing. If you should drop dead this very second, it doesn't make any difference. And he'll put you into situation after situation after situation until finally you become incapable of deceit. As a probable reality version of this map. Here you are in this life. Here you are in this other life. Here you are in this other life, this other life, this other life, this life right here. Let's say for fun, you drop dead. Well, you're going to go to this one. You're going to go to this one, this one, this one. You're going to go to a whole. The play goes on. No matter what you're doing. If you should drop dead this very second, it doesn't make any difference. And he'll put you into situation after situation after situation until finally you become incapable of deceit. As a probable reality version of this, of this map. Here you are in this life. Here you are in this other life. Here you are in this other life, this other life, this other life. This life right here. Let's say for fun, you drop dead. Well, you're going to go to this one, you're going to go to this one, this one, this one. You're going to go to a whole bunch on the wheel until you are incapable of deceit. What's working out of you the impurity, that's what's becoming worked out of you. When you are pure gold, that's when you're incapable of duplicity. That's when you're incapable of deceit. The people who feel that way right now, watching this, you're in the right place. And I mean, not just here on this channel. I mean, in reality, you're in the right place. It's taking you some time to get here. If you're listening to this and you feel what I'm. What I'm throwing down from Neville, you know, I gotta say this. You're in the right place. But I gotta say this reading, Neville's like, I used to play guitar and I used to. I used to love Jimi Hendrix, and I used to love me just to learn, you know, songs like Purple Haze and other songs and. And some Ozzy Osbourne songs, Randy Rhodes, and to be able to mimic what they were doing on the guitar, you know, and. And playing those crazy riffs and. And impressing my friends and just. It was just. It's just wild to learn something that sounded so incredible. Then you practice and practice and practice, and then you do it and then you realize, you know, you know, I'm. I'm not. I'm not the creator of it, but it sure feels good to be able to take something that hears that sounds that wild and be able to learn it. And these guys also learn from somebody else. Let's not kid ourselves. But the intent, the intent that flows through the middle of this is what I'm talking about. It's this reading of Neville that is really a profound thing. The Neville material is. It's beyond Jimi Hendrix. It's way beyond. And it's wonderful. It's wonderful to share this with you. And I've gotten a couple comments and, and I appreciate those comments of the feedback that you really like this coming across this way. Let's continue. But the question is asked to lead up to it. So I ask you a question, said he. A man said to his first son, go into the vineyard and work. And he said, I will not. But afterward repented and went into the vineyards. He said to his second son, go into the vineyard and work. And he said, I'll do it. But he did not. I ask you who obeyed the will of his father. They said, the first one, he said, I tell you, the tax collectors and harlots will get into the kingdom of heaven before you. Matthew 21:28. For you are just then like the second son. He says, I'll do it. But you do. But you don't do it. The first son repented. He said, I. I won't do it. But he repented and changed his mind. And he did it. Mm. You can hear it, can't you? And so everyone in the world is brought into these unnumbered situations where they are faced with it and they. And though you starve, you still can't take advantage of another. Don't forget Neville was. I'm sure Neville went. And I forget where I heard it, but I know he went days without eating, without having food in his belly. And back then there was no assistance, there was no government assistance yet. But I know he went hungry to sleep without food. Who knows how many days at the time. It was very, very difficult. And right here when he says that, you know, he experienced this. And so everyone in the world is brought into these unnumbered situations where they are faced with it. And though you starve, you still can't take advantage of another. You'd rather be dispossessed than go through the things. Than go through all the things of the world that would seemingly dishonor everyone. You'd rather do it than take advantage of another for personal gain. Can't do it. When man comes to that point, he's in. I'm sorry, he's pure in heart. It hasn't anything to do with the moral code of the world. So don't think of this in any way as moral perfection that is attained by an individual. And don't think of it as the world would naturally think of it as sexual purity. Nothing has to do with sexual purity. And the world sees, as the world sees it, it is all to do with duplicity. Remember cowboys and aliens? God doesn't care where you were. He only cares where you are. It's all about right now. He doesn't care who you were or where you were. He only cares about who you are or where you are. That's right here, right now. Great movie. The preacher's role in that movie, man, if you haven't seen it, great. Watch for those lines. Everything he says is gold. Can you really be double minded and say one thing as a promise when you intend another, which is to get personal gain at the expense of the other, whether it be a party, an individual, a family or a government. And so blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. And that pure in heart is that when the gold is actually there, having been put through all the furnaces of experience. And finally, when I arrive at the point just Let me die. I haven't eaten this day. I haven't eaten this week. But let me die. But. But I can't take advantage of another for personal gain at that moment. May I tell you, and I'm speaking from experience, that you are taken into the presence of the most high Neville. Okay, let's get on with the killing. From my experience, I go back to the days of the deep depression. I mean that when I didn't know where to find a nickel. There's a lady in the audience tonight who, along with my wife, came to my very first meeting and she knows the truth of which I speak. I got to try and get out of my emotion right now so I can continue to read. I would walk from my little place in the village in the hope of finding a friend. 50 blocks away. I couldn't ride the subway, that was a nickel. In the hope I could find some friend who would give me. I couldn't borrow it with collateral in the hope that eventually someone would give me a quarter and I would make something and pay it back. For I had four months to feed, excuse me, four mouths to feed, my dancing partner and her parents. If I could find a quarter, I would buy vegetable and a little olive oil and walk back the 50 blocks many a day. I couldn't find a friend who had a quarter. But. But I would pass the places and I couldn't take one piece of lettuce. I could not take anything from those trays all exposed. I couldn't. I'd go back hungry, just tell them of my experiences. I couldn't lift a thing from anyone who I hadn't paid. It wasn't mine. See if I can make it so. I know exactly how this thing works. While I was in that state where I was incapable of stealing, but incapable of stealing and I could not deceive for personal gain. One night, taken in spirit right into the presence of the ancient of days, he asked me the eternal question, what is the greatest thing in the world? I was by him prompted what to say what I ought to say. And I simply repeated the 12th chapter, 12th verse of the book of Luke. So when you're brought into his presence, don't be anxious how or what you are to answer or what you are to say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say. So in that moment, what I ought to say. I said that the greatest thing in the world is love. Well, you couldn't steal from someone you love. You couldn't steal from anything in this world, if you love them, you couldn't. If you asked them for it and they had reasons without explaining the reasons for not giving it, you couldn't condemn them for the reasons they didn't give it. You couldn't condemn them for their actions and their reactions. So you accepted it. That was all right, Perfectly all right. So when you are brought into that state, it's because the heart is guileless and he finds some Israelite, behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile. No guile whatsoever. He is guileless. And then he can see the face of God. For he looked into the face of God. But you're told in the same book, the 14th chapter, when you see me, you see my Father. So he saw the Father, because he was without guile and his face was unveiled. Excuse me. Now we are told in Paul's letter to the Corinthians, the second Corinthians, the third chapter. So take heart, not one will despair. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the Lord, will be changed. But rather it is said in the present active sense, we are being changed from one glory to another glory by the Spirit, verse 18. We are actually being changed by beholding the face from one glory to another glory. He uses the word advisedly. We all unveiled, beholding the Lord, are being changed into his very image from one glory to another glory. So I tell you, don't despair. If today you think, well, it's easier to get away with it than to face society. And you get away with it perfectly alright. Do it. Tomorrow you'll be faced with a similar situation, whether it be in this little world of ours or another world. There are worlds within worlds within worlds, but you will not come out of the furnaces until it's pure gold. No one in the world gets away with anything, but no one. And so we are told in that 16th Beatitude, Blessed are the poor, blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Believe it, nothing but the unalloyed gold can come out. Now. I love all the Beatitudes, but I must confess that this excites me. They are. There are eight. If you read it in one way, you can make them nine in another way, and at maximum you could get 10 out of them if you read it in another way. Some are inclined to read them as 10 because it gives the feeling of a new Torah, a new ten commandments, but that's stretching it a bit. But we can. You can read it in 10, but there are definitely eight. You can't miss the eight and you can push them into nine or even 10. But it is a new code, a new law, where causation becomes mental and not physical, as you're told. You've heard it said, as the eight are given. And then we go into an explanation of the 8. You shall not kill, but I say unto you, to even entertain it in your heart is to have committed the act. You've heard it said, you should not commit adultery. But I say to look upon a woman lustfully is to have already committed the act in your heart with her. Matthew 5:27. Therefore the whole thing is raised from the physical level, the Pharisee, where he doesn't do it physically, but he does it mentally. And it's now raised to the level of the mind, where if you do it mentally, you've done it to plot and plan to take advantage of another, but to restrain the impulse. Because you contemplated the act, along with its consequences to yourself and to your friends and your family. Because you couldn't stand the, well, embarrassment if you were caught, and then you restrained the impulse to do it, but that wasn't good enough, shouldn't even entertain the thought. And so to entertain the thought is to perform the act. And with the new code, and so you can't even entertain the thought. And when you. Blank space, do not refrain the impulse. So if I contemplate an act and it seems pleasant, I might be inclined to do it if I could get away with it. But if I contemplate it along with its consequences to myself and to others, well, then I may restrain the impulse, But I'm told that's not good enough. You don't even contemplate the act. If the act is to take advantage of another for personal gain. May I tell you, maybe you've had all the experience and you'd rather die than steal. Maybe you've had that experience. If you haven't had it, may I tell you that you're not going to avoid it. So don't think that man is judged today because his fabulous wealth. Sometimes I think that God starts on the play at the top of the ladder. If all the honors are given to the world, that they receive all the mortal honors, things that vanish, and how they love them, and then the play unfolds. Because they aren't strong enough to yet to withstand the temptation. If they're up against the pressures of things, when they have more than their own mouth to feed, if you have your own mouth to feed, and that's the only mouth to feed. Oh, well, so what? You won't die. You just can't go to bed hungry. You can just go to bed hungry, sleep it off. But when there are others that you love and that. And they depend upon you to find that quarter, and you won't steal it, and so you come back without the quarter, and you all have to amuse yourselves with fun, just turn on the radio or something, and you haven't even paid the rent, and just simply play the game until that moment in time when pure gold comes out. And he found David. Having found David of pure gold, he leaves David in you. And then out of you, he brings himself. Well, who is the very being he's bringing out? He's bringing out Jesse. Well, who is Jesse? Jesse is the father of David. So he's pulling Jesse out of his own being. And Jesse is I am. So he leaves David. So who is the one that he placed in the mind in the beginning? In the beginning was when the gold became pure, unalloyed gold. That was the beginning. So he leaves it in the mind of man. And then he pulls out now his own image. And the image is Jesse. For his name is I Am. And Jesse's name is I Am. But Jesse is the father of David. So he's pulling himself out of himself, and he sets up in himself a son called David. Pure gold. A man after my own heart. You get it? This is a mystery. It's not the easiest thing in the world to reveal. But may I tell you that it's not that. I'm sorry. May I tell you, it's the most glorious thing when you contemplate it here. God himself, his name is I am, decides to make his own being and bring forth Himself, the image of Himself. He sings himself in this, we call the tent in the Bible, it's called the tent. Flesh and blood with all of the passions, this complete state that contained everything, all the memory, all the fires of the world. But he can't use them. He has to extract from it pure gold. And pure gold is David. He can't start his work until he brings David out. And finally he brings David out. And only David is pure gold. I have found in David, the son of Jesse, a man after my heart who will do all my will. And I will bring forth from him a savior, Jesus, as I promised. And as he starts the work of bringing him forward and bringing him forward, he brings forward Himself, the Father of David. So he first creates David. As I told you in the second chapter, the seventh verse of Psalms, Thou art my son. Today I have begotten Thee. And now out of this I'm going to bring that which is my real being. And he brings his own being out. Who is the Father of the Son. And the Father is Jesse. Well, Jesse is the Father of David. And Jesse is. I am. And so all of a sudden, this begins to unfold within you. But it will not start until you reach that point where the pure gold is produced within you through all the experiences, all the fires of experience, where you are guileless. So let no one tell you that your excessive energy expressed in anything in this world is wrong. It isn't wrong unless it was expressed falsely. Let me quote you the words. Who will ascend the hill of the Lord and who will stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. Who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. In any deceitful act on your part, there is still more fire that you must pass through. In any deceitful act on your part, there is still more fire that you must pass through, still more experiences until finally, when you're faced with everything and the world is against you and it means life or death, you still will choose death. You cannot violate your code, your code of guilelessness. You can't. So when you could not raise a finger to take anything, then that's harmony. Then there is harmony. It's the harmony he's looking for. Now he starts to mold it into his own image. And told us in the first chapter of Hebrews, as told us in the first chapter of Hebrews. Then he starts. And it takes on the imprint of God himself. So don't be concerned. It's going to work, because the one who does it is doing it in you, your own wonderful I am Ness. That's doing it. That's the great. The great Elohim who sunk himself in you and began the process of extracting pure gold that he may work on it to mold his image upon it. And that's you. So you believe it. And when you go home, that 24th Psalm, it's a short one. And what a beauty. It begins with the words, the earth is the Lord's and fullness thereof, the earth and those who dwell therein. He's established it upon the seas and founded it upon the rivers. He tells you who you are, for right now you're going to come into his presence. If you are one who cannot lift up your soul to that which is false. And so he tells you who he is. The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, and all those who dwell therein blank space. And you'll find it one day. And the whole vast world. Excuse me. And the whole vast world, all yours. You appear to it. And then if you can fit that bill where you can actually rise into the presence of the Lord, it's because you do not swear deceitfully, regardless of the temptation. You couldn't swear deceitfully. Then you're brought in. And when you take off this little garment, after that moment in time, you'll take it off for the last time. And then you will read in that wonderful chapter, the fifth chapter of the Second Corinthians, what is waiting for you, and what body of glory is waiting for you. Verse 1. And so you'll fit it. It's all perfect. But don't despair and don't be concerned. You won't fail. May I tell you that no one in the world is going to fail. So if today we seem to be on different levels, forget it. We will. We. We will all. We'll all pass through similar levels, moving toward that one point in time when we are fitted to come into the presence of the holiest of holies. So who will stand in his holy place? You will. And when you stand, you'll see him, and you'll be just like Him. You'll take the imprint of the Being that you behold. And in that moment, he you become with the being you behold. And although when you put on the veil once more and return to this world, no one sees it. They see the being that they have always known. But you're veiled. You're veiled, and all are veiled. And when it's taken off, it's taken off after that experience for the last time. So when he is asked the question, after the statement is made, the foxes have holes and the birds of the air have their nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head. Matthew 8:20. The son of man is waiting for just such it's unalloyed gold in the hearts of man. Because literally, a nest means this moving tabernacle, this thing called the flesh. He's waiting for it to be just right. And at the moment when it's just right, when you least expect it, he's taken into the Presence where He receives the imprint, just like a seal upon racks, upon wax, a seal, a seal upon wax. He returns once more veiled. And no one knows because he's the being that he was prior to that. But he's not so to himself. He knows what he saw and he knows what he became at that moment. He was like the molten gold that took it and returned to tell it. He was like the molten gold that took it and returned to tell it. So I tell you, don't seek the opportunity because he's in you, your own I am. Because he in you, your own I am Ness. He's working it out for you. He'll take you through all the experiences necessary to reduce you to pure gold. And chances are the majority of you here, maybe all of you, I hope, have reached that point. But don't test yourself, Don't. Life does that all the thing is moving and the day will come that you'll have the experience when you can meet them. It doesn't matter if you die or not. But you cannot be double minded about it knowing you couldn't be. Well, then it's done. And he sees you. He sees in you the David he's been looking for. He's always looking for David. So the 89th Psalm, he said, I have found David. He has cried unto me, thou art my Father, my God and the rock of my salvation. Verse 26. And all these things are true, but true, they're unbelievably true. Suddenly you actually have an experience that was written 4,000 years ago. You have to realize all time is now. When the same experience you're having now also happened 4,000 years ago. It's all now. The book is written from you as an example. This book I'm reading from is written by you. I'm reading words that come from you or they wouldn't fit in there. You have ears that hear is why you can hear. All these things are true, but and all these things are but true. They're unbelievably true. Suddenly you actually have an experience that was written 4,000 years ago. These words were written and put on parchment thousands of years ago. And you thought they were relating some little incident of 4,000 years ago when they were not. They were telling. They were telling God's eternal mystery how in everyone it happens. And suddenly you find him. Well, where was he all along? He was in you. After he was made. After he has made you. David, Thou art my son. Today I have begotten thee. Now he hides him in the one in whom he made him. He hides him, as I told you, in the third chapter of the 11th verse of Ecclesiastes, he hides him right into the mind of man. In the mind of that man. But he does so. But he so does it that that man cannot find out what he did from beginning to end until that moment in time when he finds him. And there's David. And who is he? Your son? If he is your son, who are you? Jesse. And who is Jesse? I am. That's what the word means just I am. And that's the name of God. Now let us go into the silence. Let us go into our silence. I am completely dumbfounded by the intensity of Neville's personal experience. Let's do our own silence real quick. I am. I am. I am. And just listen. You're not listening for words. You're listening for the feeling. I am. I am. What is it you feel listen to that feeling. Neville's personal experience. I didn't realize it was. I always jumped the gun on Neville. I didn't realize it was coming that fast. But it definitely throws me for a spin because I so appreciate the man just for being and doing what he's done and how profound to stand in those shoes and walk those steps. And the personal experience. If you look at Jane and Rob Butts, Jane Roberts and Robert Butts of the Seth material, it was not unlike the experiences of Neville. Very, very similar, very much impoverished people that were very creative. Jane and Rob, just like Neville. I mean they're two peas in a pod. I realized Neville's before Jane and Rob. These books are when Seth first unveiled himself to Jane and Rob's. I forget the exact date, but it was in 1963. I'll mention it in the next video. Jane had an out of body experience where she left her body went into, into the window sill and into a nail sticking on the windowsill. And during that time she wrote down some information and that was Seth channeling through Jane. That's how that first happened was in 1963. And I believe the Seth material first book started in 66. But they had already written a bunch of sessions between 63 and 66. Wonderful body of work. But back to the point they, Jane and Rob and Neville have led to me from my view, very similar experiences in the beginnings. Very, very impoverished, Very, very up against it all. And this lecture explains it wonderfully. And I can't help myself because I. I had an opportunity to meet Rob Butts and I was not in a position to pay for that flight and the fee for the seminar because it was on the east coast. I would have simply just hugged the man just for the sake of the hug. That body of work is worth its weight in gold for sure. If you want if you. If you're curious about that body of work, just get the eight set books that. The eight books dictated by Seth. It starts with Seth speaks nature, personal reality, unknown reality, nature of the psyche. There's eight of them. Just read them in actual order and it will be a profound experience similar to what we are experiencing here. I think this is way. This is the cherry on the Sunday, Neville. That body of work definitely has an impact as you read those eight books in order. But back to this point, these personal experiences of our teachers, they are something to be appreciative of, at least by me. I am. I mean, it blows my mind walking 50 blocks in New York in the hopes for a quarter. In the hopes that a friend somewhere has a quarter. He's got four mouths to feed. Fascinating. Responsibility. Fascinating. Okay, question. Inaudible do we have responsibility to. Okay, answer. Neville, I'm always jumping the gun here. Do we have responsibility to. Blank space, my dear, it's an excellent question. The name of the being who is doing it is I am. If I ask you a question now, tell me your name, you would reply I am before you gave the name, wouldn't you? Well, that's the being who's doing it. He's buried in you. And he's gone through unnumbered ages purifying that homogenous substance, separated, separating it, so he can only bring out the unalloyed gold. If you don't think different after you've watched this one video, this one lecture, if you don't think different after this one, I don't know what you're made of if you made it this far. Wow. And he's gone through unnumbered ages, purifying that homogeneous substance, separating it so he can only bring out the unalloyed gold. And so all the mixtures cause one to act in the unnumbered ways that they do. So your answer is that in the sense that the being who is doing it you named before you gave it your earthly name that you now at the moment bear. Is that clear? It's exactly what Seth said. You choose your name. My teacher taught me that in the very beginning, you choose your name. Vicki, Neville's daughter, told her her name was Victoria in a dream before she was born. So he named her Victoria. The same with the son, I believe, too. Inaudible Neville, he'll never in eternity depart from that homogenous substance into which he sunk himself when he decided to make man in his own image. But he has to make it first of all out of pure gold. May I tell you that it is really pure gold? I'm not kidding. When you see it one day, after the temple has been torn from top to bottom, as you're told in the book of Hebrews, it identifies the spiritual body with the curtain of the temple, and the curtain was torn from top to bottom. And then he entered into the holy of holies forever. Hebrew 9:3. No intermediary, no intermediary thereafter. But when it's torn, you look and you see molten gold, glowing liquid gold. And you know it is yourself. You will say, with Blake, I behold the vision of my deeply sleep of 6,000 years circling around my skirts like a serpent of precious stone and gold. Then suddenly you'll say, I know it is myself, O my divine Creator and Redeemer. At that very moment, the being who created you, you are he. He made you into his own being and succeeded in giving you himself. So you are looking at people, pure gold. And then you, as this molten gold, up you go like a serpent. To fulfill the statement in the third chapter of the Gospel of John. As Moses, as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must that son of man be lifted up. And suddenly, as gold, up you go. And you are really molten gold then. And up you go. Verse 14. It's an incorruptible element. Gold, gold could not corrode, not in eternity. Gold, the pure gold, is incorruptible. And this is only the symbol of the true spiritual gold that you are. Therefore. Therefore Paul is right when he said that the body you will wear is imperishable, incorruptible, immortal and imperishable. He said it twice. I was in my electrical training in the military. One thing we learned about electrical energy is that it is a force that communicates through the abundance of free flowing electrons. Things like aluminum are down here that have an abundance of free flowing electrons. And then there's like copper, like brass. Then copper. And you can see where I'm going here. Then silver. But then it got the gold. And gold is the highest amount of free flowing electrons. So an electrical current would flow through gold the fastest. It just is a property. And that's why you have contacts made of gold and connectors and plugs, guitar plugs, gold tips and gold plating. And all these things communicate the electrical signal instantaneously, just much faster than the lesser elements. But you first have to get that metal out of this very alloyed state, into the unalloyed state. And when you see, may I tell you that you will know at that moment, you've always known it. So to come back to your question. Yes. The being in you as your own. I am. Ness is doing it. But having heard it, believe it. The question is asked. What must I do to the will of him who sent me? What must I do to do the will of him who sent me? Excuse me, I misread. What must I do to do the will of him who sent me? What must I do to do the work of Him? That is called God? He said, believe in him whom he has sent. Believe it. It's true. Blank space. Forget the sex angle. What you do in your life sexually, I don't know and I don't care. And God doesn't. Maybe some moral blank space will care, but that's not God and that's not your judge. And so it is not that. It's not any moral purity. It's not any sexual purity, as the world understands that word. It is duplicity. Don't you promise one intending, while you promised it, not to keep it, but to fulfill another state for personal gain? That's what I'm getting at. The sixth beatitude, the fifth chapter, the eighth verse of the book of Matthew. Blessed is the pure in heart. Or are the pure in heart? Either one. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they, and only they, shall see God. And that purity has not a thing to do with what the world will tell you. It's all based upon. Upon guilelessness. For he is the true Israelite. Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile. And that's called Nathaniel means. Nathaniel means gift of God. Pure gold. Now. Now, who will ascend the hill of the Lord? Who will stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart. And you know what clean hands and pure heart represents. Now, to murder is better than the other. To murder for personal gain is full of guile. Moses murdered the Egyptian who killed a Hebrew boy. And yet he saw God. So even murder in the heart of. In the heat of passion, when someone that you love was injured and you in a moment of violence. May I tell you, that is not, in the eyes of God, comparable to deceiving your neighbor. Can you imagine how backwards these prisons would be if you were. If. If this was our. On the surface law. If you murdered for personal gain, as some do, many do. And you go into that world, those who plotted and planned it, they have plotted and planned the destruction of millions for personal gain, for their individual governments. That is deceit. Let's don't even get started talking about war machines. They have their lesson, we have ours. But in the heat of battle, as we're told that Moses murdered the Egyptian when he had killed the Hebrew boy. And yet Moses saw the face of God. David was chosen and he killed Goliath. So deceit is that little so deceit is that one little bit of alloy left among the gold that must be burned away before it becomes unalloyed gold. It seems to be the most difficult thing when man is under pressure to eat, to pay rent, and to do these things, that he would take advantage of another for personal gain. And that's what he calls guile. In the Bible, the sixth beatitude tells you that such a person cannot see God. If you can't see God, then you can't receive the impress of God. He can't make you into his image. But when you're brought into his presence at that very moment, it's like a seal upon wax, and you are the one. Excuse me. And you are one with him, and you take on the whole impress of God forever. Hmm? It's your immortal body, your indestructible body. But you can't be brought into his presence until you are pure gold in his eyes. The one he calls David. Tape ends. What a lecture. I don't even know how long that took, but I embellished, of course. But man, oh, man, on that night, I know more was had to have been said or more questions. Oh, my goodness. I don't know about you, but I need to go lay on top of my pool and in a floaty for a while. Oh, man, oh, man. I can barely ask you how you feel after that because I am over here completely flabbergasted with joy. Pure, pure joy. After that lecture, do your I am homework. Your homework is to go into your own, your own silence. 60 seconds. Start off with 10 seconds. Go. 30 seconds. I am. Just close the door to your closet. Breathe if you must. Not in my pool. Breathe if you must. I am. I am. I am. Don't listen, just feel. That's your homework. 10 seconds. 20 seconds. 30 seconds. One second is fine. Do what you can do. Each time we get. Each time we go into the silence. Let's try and stretch it one more. I am. Okay, we're going to see you in the next lecture. I'll see you then.
