Double Goddard, Seed, time and harvest. Chapter six. Time, times and a half and one said to the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river. How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen which was upon the waters of the river. When he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven. And swear by him that liveth forever, that it shall be for a time and times and a half. Daniel 12, 6, 7. At one of my lectures given in Los Angeles on the subject of the hidden meaning behind the stories of the Bible, someone asked me to interpret the above quotation from the Book of Daniel. After I confessed I did not know the meaning of that particular passage, a lady in the audience said to herself, if the mind behaves according to the assumption with which it starts, then I will find the true answer to that question and tell it to Neville. And this is what she told me last night. The question was asked, what is the meaning of time times an and un n times times an unhalf. That's a and half time, times and an half as recorded in Daniel 12:7. Before going to sleep last night, I said to myself, now there's a simple answer to this question. So I will assume that I know it and we know what's happening here. When she went to sleep, all that is I am God right here. We're all tied into him. We're all from Him. We're all of Him. Everything we are created is of that God. All that is I am. When she went to sleep and asked the question, and I've said it before in one or two of my videos, you take a question to bed and you wake up and the answer literally floats right to the top of your mind. Right when you're coming into consciousness. You're past the awareness of being and you're now coming into you. It's a very quick transition. It's the awareness of being first. That's that. Then the next layer is going to be you. Consciousness of what you're conscious of being who you are. That's where your question should slide right in. After that, first you're coming into awakeness. Awareness of beings first. Because you are aware of being, you're coming out of that dream into this dream where you claim that's the dream. When you're bringing your consciousness here, the awareness of being is then layered with the consciousness of your self concept. Then the question you took to bed is instantly available. It literally is what floats first to the the surface. Here you are Awareness of being. Then you're thinking about what time is it? Maybe do I have to use the restroom? Whatever. Then you think, oh yeah, what was it I asked? And then the question, the answer literally the question you asked when you went to bed, you're thinking of that question. You just simply, literally, it just floats right into your consciousness. Softly, delicately, gracefully. The answer literally floats right up. The reason it floats right up because in that other dream you were in, claiming that you're waking up from a dream when you're actually in a dream, claiming that was the dream, you're in the dream. This was where you asked the answer of the question. When you went to bed, your self concept asked, all consciousness is what you asked of the answer. Of course you know all the answers. The truth is always inside of you. Last night the question, okay, now there is a simple answer to this question, so I will assume that I know it, which, which we all do. We just need to ask. And while I'm sleeping, my greater self will find the answer and reveal it to my lesser self in a dream or vision. Around 5am I awakened. It was too early to rise, so remaining in bed, I quickly fell into that half dreamy state between to my mind of an old lady. She was sitting in a rocking chair and rocking back and forth, back and forth. Then a voice which sounded like your voice said to me, do it over and over and over again and until it takes on the tones of reality. I jumped out of bed and re read the 12th chapter of Daniel. And this is the intuitive answer I received, taking the sixth and seventh verses, for they constituted last night's question. I felt that if the garments with which biblical characters are clothed correspond to their level of consciousness, as you teach, then linen must represent a very high level of consciousness indeed. For the man clothed in linen was standing upon the waters of the river. And if, as you teach, water symbolizes a high level of psychological truth, then the individual who could walk upon it must truly represent an exalted state of consciousness. I therefore felt that what he had to say must indeed be very significant. Now the question asked of him was, how long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And his answer was a time, times and a half. Remembering my vision of the old lady rocking back and forth and your voice telling me to do it over and over again until it takes on the tones of reality. And remembering that this vision and your instruction came to me in response to my assumption that I knew the answer, I intuitively felt that the question asked the man clothed in linen meant, how long shall it be until the wonderful dreams that I am dreaming become a reality? And his answer is, do it over and over and over again until it takes on the tones of reality. A time means to perform the imaginary action which implies the fulfillment of his wish or of the wish. Times mean to repeat the imaginary action over and over again. And an half means the moment of falling asleep while performing the imaginary action for such a moment usually arrives before the predetermined action is completed, and therefore can be said to be a half or part of a time. To get such inner understanding of the Scriptures by the simple assumption that she did know the answer was a wonderful experience for this woman. However, to know the true meaning of time, times, n and half, she must apply her understanding in her daily life. We are never at a loss in an opportunity to test this understanding, either for ourselves or for another. A number of years ago, a widow living in the same apartment house as we came to see me about her cat. The cat was her constant companion and dear to her heart. He was, however, eight years old, very ill and in great pain. He had not eaten for days and would not move from under her bed. Two veterinarians had seen the cat and advised the woman that the cat could not be cured and that he should be put to sleep immediately. I suggested that that night, before retiring, she create in her imagination some action that would indicate that the cat was its former healthy self. I advised her to do it over and over again until it took on the tones of reality, until it feels natural. This she promised to do. However, either from lack of faith in my advice or from lack of faith in her own ability to carry out the imaginary action. She asked her niece to spend the night with her. This request was made so that if the cat were not well by morning, the niece could take it to the veterinarians, and she, the owner, would not have to face such a dreaded lack, such a dreaded task herself. That night she settled herself in an easy chair and began to imagine the cat was romping beside her, scratching at the furniture and doing many things she would not normally have allowed. Each time she found that her mind had wandered from its predetermined task to see a normal, healthy, frisky cat. She brought her attention back to the room and started her imaginary action over again. This she did over and over again, until finally, in a feeling of relief, she dropped off to sleep, still seated in her chair. At about 4 o' clock in the morning, she was awakened by the cry of her cat. He was standing by her chair. After attracting her attention, he led her to the kitchen where he begged for food. She fixed him a little warm milk, which he quickly drank and cried for more. The cat lived comfortably for five more years when, without pain or illness, he died naturally in his sleep. How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? A time, times and an half. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men in slumberings upon the bed. Then he openeth the ears of men and sealeth their instructions. Job 33, 15, 16. What a wonderful, wonderful chapter. Wow. You can really see his subtitle. A Practical Application of the Bible. What an amazing. The way he breaks down these pieces and somebody in his audience really came in and brought it home. Right there. That was wonderful. A mystical view of the scriptures. Love it. Oh my gosh, Daniel. And my favorite part, I must admit, and I use it all the time, is ask that question before bed. You know the answer. You know, because you're part of all that is. You're part of I am all that is God. You know the answer. The answer is within you. This is the whole reason for doing the I am meditation and finding out what it is that you desire. This is a big and most important pivotal point. Talking to anybody about not accomplishing or manifesting what they desire is stepping back and realizing, wait, what is your desire? What is it that you are focused on? What is it that you want? What is it specifically? That answer is always within you. It's always been within you. So to answer the question of any topic, any subject of you, trouble with a friend, anything, just put the question and know that. And trust. When you wake up, it'll be the first thing on your mind when you wake up in the morning. You trust it. You ask it, right when you wake up. It's right there. It never fails. If you doubt it, you got the question, should I do this or should I do that? You doubt it. When you wake up, you die. You don't think it's this one or that one. Do it again tonight. Tonight. Ask the question. You know when you wake up that you'll have the answer, and it'll be the first thing that flows to the top of your mind. It doesn't work. You doubt it again. Do it again that night, 70 times 7. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, rinse, repeat. Just keep doing it. You're going to get to the point where you realize that what you're, what you're asking, you already know. Even when you ask It. But the answers after you get this skill down where you. You hear yourself with the answer first thing in the morning, you do this over and over. Then you'll start to trust that you have the answer going into that question. Then you'll begin to get to a place where you trust as a question arises even within your conscious mind. Without going to sleep, you'll trust the first response is the answer. This is how you're getting to develop this skill set of trusting what is within, for instance, your desire or your desires. What is it I desire? I make the impression and I objectify that reality. You'll become conscious of doing this without having to go to sleep. Going to sleep is the very powerful kick in. It just kicks it in of what you want. It kicks it in because that's the way the law works. But you can start to do this consciously. Like I said before, when you're driving, you can do this. You can see somebody homeless and imagine lovingly for them while you're driving with your eyes wide open, turning the wheel, getting off the freeway, seeing somebody holding a sign and seeing them celebrating their wonderful new opportunity. And they're telling you about it and you're seeing that smile on their face and you're hugging them and you're saying congratulations back to them on the good news. You're doing that with your eyes open. I do it with my eyes open. I'm telling you that you can do it with your eyes open. It is not difficult, but you do these one at a time. Do this when you go to bed. Trust the answer. First thing comes to the top. That is the answer. Trust it. Do it again. Do it on all the little stuff. Get this skill down. Practice it, practice it, practice it. And then become a conscious co creator. Consciously co create what it is you want to experience. You can start to do this consciously. Like I said before, when you're driving, you can do this. You can see somebody homeless and imagine lovingly for them while you're driving with your eyes wide open, turning the wheel, getting off the freeway, seeing somebody holding a sign and seeing them celebrating their wonderful new opportunity. All that is God. I am. You're part of that. And you are doing the same thing he has done of you. You are doing of him in you. Creating a new reality. Abundance. You're meant to be abundant. What a wonderful chapter. Seed, Time and harvest. Chapter six. Time, times and an Half. We'll see you in the next chapter.
