Giselle Toner rides her horses T.Q. and Adonis on nearby trails while her arena gets watered. She chose to ride despite a busy schedule, and recorded the experience to remember the rural sounds: roosters, chickens, goats, and gunshots from nearby ranges.
All right. Another day on my trails. Beautiful day. And I've been so busy with so many other things that I have not really had a lot of time to ride. But I could have found a million excuses today to not ride, but I was like, nah, you know what? I am getting on my horse today. I'm gonna do a ride because I haven't ridden in a while. And T.Q. hears me, and he's like, mom, I'm gonna come out, too. So I will be working with him in a bit. So right now we are just traveling through my few little trails in the back. But it's great. It's just enough for me to get a little movement, a little riding, and a little bit of variety, because I have my arena right now. The arena is actually being sprinkled on, so I'm just figuring I would do a little bit of trail riding. Yeah. All right. Good boy. So we've got a lot of roosters and all kinds of stuff next door. We've got roosters, and we've got chickens, and we have goats, and I don't know what else he has, but it's got a lot of good stuff over there, so. But it's just nice because the sounds are good. You know, I can hear all these different noises, and the horse gets used to all these good sounds. We actually had some gunshots going off earlier because everybody here has a gun range in their backyard. Almost everybody, anyway. And so we hear gunshots. I hear gunshots all the time. And the horses are kind of used to it. The horses are really used to it, so it's a great thing. You know, I really. Sometimes I hear a lot of other noises, too. I don't know what they are, but people are doing all kinds of crazy stuff out here, really. Very few restrictions in this area, but it's good because the horses are getting used to all these noises and everything around here. TQ gets a little worried. Adonis, yeah, he's all right, but TQ gets really worried, you know? I mean, that's just in his blood. He's always gonna have that, but it's just the way he is, you know, and he's a good boy. Anyway, just wanted to do a little video of me enjoying this gorgeous day so that I can go back and look at it again later on and relive the experience and. Oh, good boy. All right, bye, everybody.
Update on the arena! Lime rock is down, borders are being put up and then it'll almost be done!
