Deeptesh, a team leader at LTI Mind in Bangalore, shares how he passed the PMP exam using Info Career's curriculum and mock exams. He discusses his study methods and offers advice for others preparing for the certification.
I'm Deeptesh, I'm from Bangalore so I work in LNT that is now called as LTI Mind after the merger. So I work as a team leader and yeah so now so I wanted to like move into project management. So that's why so like one of my friend referred me to info career. So because of that like it's been a nice journey overall. Like it took me around four months to complete the entire curriculum and do the mock exams. So it was nice.
So the content, whatever we have provided the way which you went through anything you want to say and easy enough the content, whatever you are given or anything else you want us to improve.
So it is more than enough like yeah, it exists actually. So just by watching the videos so like we can crack the exam. But even before that the mock just prepared me. So like it is a four hour exam. So like after a while we are sitting for four hours and taking that exam. So this practice like just helped us a lot means I think I took seven mock exams like five from the Titan impact and two from Go back also because of your motivation and continuously guide in me so where all to improve. Yeah so that was really helpful. The content is like very precise and to the point.
And what did you learn in this journey? This four months going through this curriculum how that reflected in your day to day projects? Anything you want to share.
So like I work in an adjunct project so every two weeks there will be a demo. So like I had to manage and I spent like two hours in a day so it's not at least one hour in a day. So to go through the video. So first I made sure that all the videos I like went through it like without skipping anything. So like and after that for revision. So like I made notes in between so that I can revise even before the exam. Like pointers from the videos only. And so after that mock exam like as you said to review the mock exam. So where all I went wrong. So then I marked it so like in a notebook like keywords how to identify. So like I was continuously making the same mistake in two mock exam. So then I realized so how to overcome that? Yeah, consistency is the key actually we should not, we should not give a gap in between otherwise we'll. Yeah, forget the concepts.
What do you want to say to PMP aspirants? So what did you learn? How that this will help other people if they want to do pm?
Yes like first I think info career because like we you need a path for how to achieve this if you have someone to motivate and like if you know the path how to reach there. So I think info career so like just guided me well enough and for pmp. So like now I am a team lead so if I want to move into another direction like to towards management so this will be helpful like I can share my certificate across like different companies also within my company so I can move into another direction. Yeah so this is nice like you will understand the concepts also like if you want to move into management so you should know like what the stakeholder what is resource like all these terminologies will be new now it is like since I'm working already in agile so I knew like few terms and this also helped me in my project. Yeah.
So when you saw the last 4434 days okay the daily every day one exam taking and then reviewing it then I think few audios also we shared with you and all these things on the day of exam also I think you given me a call. Okay. And yes at the end of it you you saw you pass one sheet. They given it to you all that moment.
Oh I I was thrilled actually. Like all these efforts whatever like efforts I had put in. So it was so fruitful. So looking at that, congratulations you have passed the exam. It was a nice feeling altogether.
So any suggestion for us very improvement?
No sir, no suggestion just it is like a complete package altogether. So yeah if you just go through the videos I think it's more and more than enough. But yeah so if you want to prepare for the mock exam like and if you want to like understand how the exam pattern is going to be. Yeah. So this mock exams really help. Yeah. As you said like above 5050 to 60 if you score also like it's. Yeah, it's good enough.
